Abstract

During the implementation of SIMRS there are still some problems that occur such as incomplete features, there are still errors in the features accessed and still desktop-based. Therefore, researchers evaluate the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) based on user satisfaction and provide results in the form of recommendations for developing SIMRS. This research uses the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method which consists of 5 dimensions, namely Content, Accuracy, Display, User-Friendliness, and Timeliness. The data collection method is observation, interview, and distributing questionnaires to 125 SIMRS user employees using systematic random sampling techniques, the data is processed using SPSS version 23. The results showed that the level of satisfaction of “X” SIMRS users was 76.4%, which means that users are satisfied in using SIMRS and provide recommendations for improvements to SIMRS so that it can run well and user satisfaction continues to increase.

Abstract

Forecasting is the process of estimating future price trends based on historical price data. The price of rice and eggs in Sukoharjo Regency, based on data from Dinas Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan UMKM Sukoharjo from January 2016 to August 2019, has shown frequent fluctuations. To address this issue, an accurate forecasting method is needed to help predict future prices of rice and eggs, minimize price volatility, and assist in decision-making for both consumers and stakeholders. This study applies the Exponential Smoothing Winters method, a seasonal forecasting technique that incorporates level, trend, and seasonal components. A price prediction application was developed using the VB.NET programming language and SQL Server database. The application generates predictive calculations for rice and egg prices, complemented by graphical displays and report outputs. The results of the study show Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) values of 14.57% for broiler eggs and 6.74% for native chicken eggs. These results indicate that the method provides a relatively high level of accuracy.

Abstract

The evolving world of work in the era of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 demands that students master not only theoretical knowledge but also basic 21st-century skills. Students and universities need to prepare graduates to compete in the workforce. Project-based learning is one model that can be applied in learning because it offers great potential in creating meaningful experiences for students as they enter the workforce. Student motivation is also necessary to prepare work-ready graduates. The results of the analysis using SEM PLS Project Based Learning (PjBL) and student motivation significantly have a positive effect on student work readiness, where PjBL (X₁) with a path coefficient of 0.387 (p-value 0.000 <0.05) is proven to be effective in building technical competencies, practical skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, communication and project management, as well as developing creativity through the stages of planning, making, presenting, and evaluating products, while motivation (X₂) with a higher path coefficient of 0.420 (p-value 0.000 <0.05) acts as an internal driver that increases students' perseverance, initiative, and psychological readiness in facing the world of work. The synergy of PjBL and Motivation creates a strong combination effect in increasing work readiness, with an R² value of 0.467 indicating that most of the variance in work readiness can be explained by these two exogenous variables. Keywords : Project Based Learning, motivation, work readiness, SEM PLS

Abstract

The world of work considers that graduates with high competence are those who have technical skills, soft skills and good behavior. In addition to attaching importance to the aspect of ability to acquire and work together to compete in the labor market competition, the concept of personal branding is important as a tool to win the competition. A friendly and always confident character coupled with problem-solving skills has become a personal branding for a student to be ready to face competition in the world of work. In addition to personal branding in the real world, it turns out that personal branding in cyberspace is no less important as a digital footprint that continues to be recorded. The current aspect of social media is quite a consideration for new HR recruiters in every company. The collection of research data was carried out online through a google form using a structured questionnaire. A total of 52 research samples were recruited using the purposive sampling method. This study uses the SmartPLS statistical analysis tool to process data. The results of the study show that soft skills and social media from students have a significant positive effect on student work readiness. Meanwhile, daily behavior is considered to have no effect on students' work readiness. The value of R2 = 0.471 explains that around 47% of the variance of the student work readiness variable is caused by the soft skill variable and student social media in the model.
