Abstract

This study examines the interplay of brand loyalty, community building, digital engagement, and consumer engagement within PT. ISAM (Industri Susu Alam Murni), a dairy company. Using a quantitative research approach and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS as the analytical tool, data from 100 consumers were analyzed to assess direct and indirect effects among these variables. The findings reveal that while community building efforts showed no significant direct impact on brand loyalty, digital engagement significantly influences consumer engagement, which in turn positively affects brand loyalty. These results underscore the critical role of effective digital strategies in fostering consumer participation and advocacy, thereby enhancing brand loyalty in the competitive dairy industry landscape. The study contributes insights that can guide strategic decision-making and marketing efforts aimed at cultivating stronger brand-consumer relationships and improving market positioning for PT. ISAM and similar companies in the dairy sector.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of online purchase decisions by examining the influence of the bandwagon effect, lifestyle, and digital payment usage among urban consumers aged 18–40 in Padang City, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 170 respondents through a structured questionnaire and analyzed with multiple linear regression. Descriptive analysis revealed high average scores for all variables, indicating a generally positive perception among respondents. Regression results showed that the three variables jointly explain 73.7% of the variance in online purchasing behavior. Furthermore, all three predictors—bandwagon effect, lifestyle, and digital payments—exerted significant partial effects, with digital payment being the strongest contributor. The bandwagon effect emerged as a powerful social driver, suggesting that peer influence and perceived popularity of products significantly encourage individuals to engage in similar purchasing patterns. Lifestyle, reflecting personal values, interests, and routines, was also found to meaningfully affect consumer choices, highlighting that purchasing decisions are often aligned with self-identity and aspirational living standards. Digital payment usage demonstrated the most substantial impact, emphasizing the importance of transaction speed, ease, and security in fostering online shopping adoption. These findings indicate that modern online consumer behavior is not solely the result of individual preferences but is shaped by a complex interplay of social influence, lifestyle aspirations, and technological convenience. The results hold practical implications for e-commerce platforms, which can leverage social proof strategies, lifestyle-oriented marketing content, and seamless payment integrations to enhance consumer engagement and conversion rates. Marketers are encouraged to design campaigns that blend social validation cues, targeted lifestyle messaging, and promotions tied to preferred payment methods to maximize market penetration. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital commerce by illustrating how psychological, sociocultural, and technological factors converge to influence purchasing intentions in emerging markets

Abstract

Abstract This Community Service Program focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of novice entrepreneurs in Solok City in response to the growing number of individuals choosing entrepreneurship due to limited formal employment opportunities. Although Solok City has considerable entrepreneurial potential, the managerial capacities of novice entrepreneurs have not yet fully met the demands of an increasingly competitive market. Common challenges include weak business planning, inaccurate calculation of cost of goods sold, limited utilization of digital marketing, and unclear business strategies and target markets. The program aims to enhance entrepreneurial management capabilities through structured and practical training covering business planning, basic financial management, and technology-based marketing strategies. The implementation methods included counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and mentoring for novice entrepreneurs. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ competencies, with 82% of participants showing improved ability in developing business plans, 76% demonstrating better understanding of cost calculation, and 79% beginning to effectively utilize digital media for marketing purposes. In addition, approximately 85% of participants exhibited increased commitment and readiness to manage their businesses sustainably. These findings suggest that management training plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of novice entrepreneurs and supports their potential growth into sustainable and competitive local enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of short-form video content on brand engagement and purchase intention among Generation Z in South Sumatra. In today’s fast-paced digital era, short-form video content promoted through social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts has become a highly effective marketing tool. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 245 respondents aged 18 to 24 years who are active consumers of short-form video content. Data were collected through a questionnaire measured using a 5-point Likert scale, covering variables such as short-form video content, brand engagement, and purchase intention. The results indicate that entertaining, informative, and authentic short-form videos significantly influence brand engagement, which in turn impacts consumer purchase intention. Furthermore, brand engagement was found to mediate the relationship between short-form video content and purchase intention. Dimensions of short-form video content, such as entertainment value, informative content, and authenticity, play an important role in attracting attention and enhancing consumer engagement. These findings provide practical insights for marketers to design more effective marketing strategies, especially in reaching Generation Z consumers who tend to be more selective in consuming content.
