Abstract

This study aims to develop content-differentiated science student worksheets for students of the elementary school teacher education study program, especially on the subject of the human respiratory system, and analyze its effect on student collaboration skills. This research method used research and development with the 4D model (define, design, development, and dissemination). The sample in this study was 142 2nd semester students of elementary school teacher education study program at PGRI University Yogyakarta. The data was taken through student worksheets documentation, score lists, interviews, observations, validation assessment scales, and student collaboration skills questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research results, the student worksheets products that have been developed meet the validity criteria with an overall average of 97% in the very valid category. The validity and reliability results of the student collaboration skills questionnaire for the student worksheets developed have met the valid and reliable criteria. The results of the student collaboration skills trial given to 142 students on the developed student worksheets were the order of the number of students who always carried out collaboration skills starting from the responsible aspect (79%), the respect aspect (77%), the productive work aspect (71 %), aspects show flexibility (71%), and aspects contribute actively (38%). Meanwhile, the average number of students is 22% of students at a good level in collaborating and 78% of students are very good at collaborating.

Abstract

Sanden subdistrict is one of the subdistricts in Bantul Regency. Based on the preliminary study that has been conducted, the participation coverage of husbands as MOP contraceptive accepters in the District is low. Family Planning (FPA) is one of the important programs in efforts to control population growth as well as improve the well-being of families and communities. Among available contraceptive methods, MOP has been a popular choice for men who have decided to terminate their reproductive ability. MOP is a minor surgical procedure that stops the flow of sperm from the testicles to the male reproductive tract. Although this procedure is considered an effective method of birth control, there are still many factors influencing the acceptance rate and use of MOP in various communities. This dedication to the community aims to to apply Health promotion its links in an attempt to increase husbands’ participation as MOP accepters through social support factors, attitudes, and husbands’ intentions that influence a husband’s decision to accept MOP as a contraceptive method. The implementation of this activity was carried out in three stages namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The external result of this devotion is in the form of publication articles resulting from devotion to the public. This activity was followed by 15 participants. Based on the results of the pretest it was obtained that the average pretest score of the participants was 68 whereas after conducting the material administration and baby massage demonstration, the posttest score on the participants increased to 82.

Abstract

Menguasai sistem konjugasi verba bahasa Jerman merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi para siswa karena kerumitannya, yang melibatkan kala, persona, dan jumlah. Pada tingkat A1, siswa diperkenalkan dengan verba beraturan (regelmäßige Verben) dan tidak beraturan (unregelmäßige Verben). Namun, miskonsepsi di kalangan guru, seperti kekeliruan dalam mengklasifikasikan verba kommen yang bermakna 'datang' sebagai verba beraturan, dapat menghambat pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi tentang konjugasi verba bahasa Jerman di antara 43 guru bahasa Jerman dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan terkait klasifikasi dan konjugasi verba bahasa Jerman. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menerapkan statistik deskriptif, dengan menghitung persentase jawaban responden untuk mengidentifikasi pola miskonsepsi yang muncul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya miskonsepsi yang signifikan di antara guru bahasa Jerman, terutama kebingungan terhadap istilah jenis verba dan klasifikasi verba dalam bahasa Jerman. Sebagai temuan, sebanyak 36 guru yang salah mengklasifikasikan verba trinken bermakna 'minum' dan gehen bermakna 'pergi' sebagai verba beraturan, dan mengabaikan pola konjugasi yang tidak beraturan pada Präteritum dan Perfekt sebagai kala bentuk lampau dalam bahasa Jerman. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan yang ditargetkan untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi guru. Dengan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan mendorong kemahiran siswa dalam tata bahasa Jerman di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the professionalism of informal teachers in Yogyakarta through the application of the Peer Observation and Evaluation method. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving ten private teachers as research subjects. A qualitative approach was used to collect and analyze data in an effort to understand the impact of applying this method on improving teacher professionalism. This research was carried out in two cycles, starting from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle involves concrete steps in implementing the peer Observation and Evaluation method. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative analysis. The research results show that the application of Peer Observation and Evaluation can significantly increase the professionalism of informal teachers in Yogyakarta. It was found that through the process of peer observation and evaluation, teachers can obtain constructive feedback to improve the quality of their teaching and professional abilities. Apart from that, collaboration between teachers also increases, creating a mutually supportive learning environment. This research provides an important contribution in the context of informal teacher professional development. The practical implication of this research is the importance of introducing and applying the Peer observation and evaluation method in the context of informal education as a means of improving the quality of teaching and teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) in instilling the character of SD Negeri Suryodiningratan 3 students. The background of this research is taken from students who have difficulty in solving problems that exist in the surrounding environment, such as counting when eating snacks in the canteen, and others. This study uses a descriptive qualitative type, data collection using interviews, observation, documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study state several findings, including: School Literacy Movement in instilling student character in SD Negeri Suryodiningratan 3. Obstacles encountered in implementing the School Literacy Movement in instilling student character in SD Negeri Suryodiningratan 3. Solutions to obstacles found in carrying out the School Literacy Movement activities in instilling student character at SD Negeri Suryadiningratan 3. The implementation of the School Literacy Movement has a very important role in education. With these literacy activities can make a good impact in the world of education. Abstract

Background: The Family Planning (KB) Program is an effort designed by the government to assist married couples in planning the number and distance of child births, using various contraceptive methods. It has a legal basis in the form of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 52 of 2009 concerning Population Development and Family Development. The family planning program also has a broader purpose, namely controlling population growth to be more balanced with the availability of resources. As of the first semester of 2024, the number of Indonesia's population has reached 282.477.584 people with a density of 143.73 people per square kilometer. Globally, the Family Planning (KB) program has been recognized as one of the important solutions in suppressing uncontrolled population growth and improving the quality of family life. Purpose: To examine the social support factor on the willingness of the husband as an acceptor of vasectomy family planning. Method: A descriptive correlational, specially focusing on cross-sectional method. The study took place from March 2025 in Senden, Bantul. The independent variable was social support, meanwhile the dependent variable included Husband’s Willingness to Accept Vasectomy. Using random sampling and lame show formula 105 respondents were selected who meet specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis proceeded with a univariate test to determine the frequency distribution of respondent’s characteristics, followed by bivariate analysis using chi square test. Results: There is a significant relationship between social support and the willingness of husbands to accept vasectomy as a method of family planning p-value 0.003. Odd Ratio showed a value of 9.000 which means that people who receive high social support will be 9 times more likely to be willing to be acceptors of family planning MOP than those who receive low social support. Conclusion: Social support can come from various sources, including the wife, family members, peers, and health workers, which can strengthen the husband's confidence and motivation to undergo a vasectomy.

Abstract

German textbooks typically emphasize grammatical and lexical aspects while paying less attention to pragmatic elements, especially politeness strategies that reflect native speakers’ cultural values. The study examined polite expression forms, functions, and the cultural value of German textbooks and analyzed their relevance to the development of intercultural competence. We used a qualitative research design based on the German textbook Netzwerk A1, A2, and B1, authored by Dengler et al. (2020) and published by Ernst Klett Sprachen GmbH as a data source. Data were collected through reading and recording techniques, then analyzed using pragmatic matching and distributional methods. The validity was checked through observation, triangulation, and peer review. The analysis revealed five main categories of politeness forms: (1) grammatical and lexical forms, (2) standard expressions of politeness, (3) modal particles, (4) formal pronouns Sie 'your', and (5) indirect questions. These forms consistently showed German cultural values such as social hierarchy, formality, and politeness norms. Given the results, we suggest that German textbooks should include more sociopragmatic elements to help students develop better cross-cultural communication skills.
