Abstract

Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilany was a laying figure in the foundation of the Tariqah Qadiriyah - the first systematic order to be formed in a systematic and most widespread area of distribution- writing phenomenal works such as; al-Ghunyah Lithalibi Thoriqi al-Haq ‘Azza wa Jalla, Futuh al-Ghoib, al-Fathu ar-Robbany wa al-Faidh ar-Rohmany and others. His book al-Ghunyah Lithalibi Thoriqi al-Haq ‘Azza wa Jalla consists of five major discussions namely; fiqh, aqeedah, mawa'idz Al-Qur'an, alfadz an-nabawiyah, fadhailil a’mal and Sufism. This paper will explain the thoughts of Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilany in the field of Sufism in the fifth chapter of this book. He discussed about the definition of Sufism, Sufi, Mutashawwif, murid, murod, shaykh, adab murid of his shaykh and others. Finally, this paper will review the establishment of Tariqah Qadiriyah and its theoretical aspects.

Abstract

Islamic da'wa's performance is highly influenced by the techniques and tactics used in conjunction with the preaching object. 'Aisyiyah applies a Qoryah Thayyibah group-based da’wa model that is expected to become the Brand Community Value. Each Regional Leader must enforce this program with a minimum of three supported villages. The purpose of Qoryah Thayyibah, in general, is to establish an advanced and dignified Islamic society. This study aimed to identify the implementation of the Qoryah Thayyibah program and the obstacles faced by 'Aisyiyah Ponorogo. The qualitative literary approach was used in this analysis. Accordingly, the data collection was through documentation (identification of documents), observation, and interviews. The inductive reasoning was also used in the analysis to see how the Qoryah Thayyibah program is implemented, and the conclusion was taken from the general statement to a particular statement. The primary sources were the results of interviews with the management of 'Aisyiyah Ponorogo, interviews with Qoryah Thayyibah PW East Java and PDA Ponorogo, the results of Tanwir relevant to Qoryah Thayyibah and supported by other sources, such as articles, documents or writings on the official PDA website of ‘Aisyiyah Ponorogo. 'Aisyiyah Ponorogo has successfully applied the Qoryah Thayyibah in five of the eight intended fields. They faced obstacles in several fields, including spirituality, education, economics, and health.

Abstract

Maqamat is considered as the most important topic among the others in Sufism because it is the ethics and process of the heart and spirit that seeks to guide people for returning to Allah SWT. In “al-Ghunyah Lithalibi Thoriqi al-Haq ‘Azza wa Jalla,” al-Jilani—the Sufi figures who founded the Qadiriyah, the oldest and most widespread of the Muslim congregation— formulated the spiritual levels that a salik should take. Although al-Jilani does not call these spiritual levels as maqamat, but in the tradition of Sufism this is commonly called maqamat. Al-Jailani detailed the seven levels of the maqamat, namely al-taubah, al-zuhd, al-tawakkul, al-syukr, al-s}abr, ar-rid}hā and al-s}idq. Al-taubah is considered as the first gate for a salik to get God’s blessings in this world and the hereafter. Al-zuhd did not mean to leave the world at all, as long as it did not neglect man from God and could help the religion and the hereafter. This is what distinguishes between Al-Jilani’s thought and the others which means al-zuhd is to leave the world.

Abstract

Sekularisme merupakan tantangan besar bagi ilmu pengetahuan dalam Islam. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah gagasan Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan Mulyadhi Kartanegara dan penerapannya pada universitas Islam. Metode penelitian ini berlandaskan pada literatur kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan analisis konsep secara deskriptif analisis dan teknik analisa secara deduktif-induktif dalam menarik kesimpulan.Darinya, dapat kita simpulkan bahwa Islamisasi dalam gagasan Mulyadhi Kartanegara merupakan pemurnian kembali ilmu pengetahuan dengan jalan naturalisasi. Sedangkan universitas Islam merupakan instrument penting dalam merealisasikan Islamisasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan secara detail tentang konsep tazkiyatun nafs dan penyakit jiwa menurut Hamka, serta implementasi tazkiyatun nafs dalam mengobati penyakit jiwa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, bersifat kepustakaan murni karena sumber datanya baik yang primer atau sekunder berasal dari buku, dokumen, jurnal atau karya-karya ilmiyah. Dalam menguji validitas data peneliti menggunakan menggunakan ukuran transferability dan dependability. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, tazkiyatun nafs menurut Hamka adalah proses membersihkan jiwa dari hal-hal seperti kemusyrikan, ateisme dan segala sifat buruk yang kemudian dapat diberikan pengajaran dengan berbagai ilmu dan pembiasaan(pelatihan) yang baik dan benar. Penyakit jiwa menurutnya, termasuk sifat-sifat alamiah yang cenderung buruk dan tercela, karena berkurangnya nilai kebaikan yang sempurna dari diri manusia. Hamka menjelaskan bahwa Tazkiyatun nafs secara langsung mampu menjadi jalan atau cara untuk mengobati penyakit jiwa seseorang dengan lima tahapannya.

Abstract

The Islamic community experienced a crisis at the beginning of the 20th century. The condition of women at that time was very concerning. Women were regarded as Konco Wingking (a term referring to those responsible for household chores), a position that had evolved into an ingrained cultural ideology contributing to women's ignorance and backwardness. This issue was of great importance to Nyai Ahmad Dahlan and her husband, prompting them to initiate the establishment of an internaat (boarding school) to support Indonesian girls. This study examines the history of the Sopo Tresno and Aisyiyah da'wah movements. It is a literature-based research drawing primary sources from books, conference proceedings, and scholarly works. The approach used is descriptive-analytical, with data validity tested using measures of transferability and reliability. The analysis method employed is inductive. The results will establish the foundation of Aisyiyah's da'wah from Sopo Tresno (1914) to Aisyiyah in 2010 from the perspective of aqidah.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the challenges of modern psychology with Hamka's soul theory in his book Tasawuf Modern. This is a qualitative study conducted at a library that analyzes data using descriptive analytical methods, psychological and Sufi approaches, and deductive-inductive techniques. The findings of this study are: first, the definition and characterization of a healthy soul according to Hamka and its hierarchy. Second, according to Hamka, mental illness is in the form of ghadab, takabbur, khauf and huzn and their triggers. Third, the treatment of mental illness is by coaching the soul through tadzkiatu al-nafs externally, namely: 1) associating with good people, 2) getting used to thinking, 3) maintaining lust, 4) working regularly, 5) self-introspection. And internally, namely sincerity, gratitude, asceticism, resignation and qana'ah. From this research we can understand that mental health is the influence of the purity of the soul through the education of the mind and heart externally and internally.

Abstract

Administrative workers have the potential to experience work fatigue. Fatigue conditions among workers can affect work productivity and can even cause health problems. Work fatigue can be characterized by decreased reaction time. The longer the reaction time indicates that a worker is getting higher fatigue level. Dhikr is a religious activity that can create peace of mind and encourage the muscles in the body to relax. A relaxed body condition will help workers not experience excessive fatigue. This research is a descriptive analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was taken using simple random sampling as many as 70 administrative workers in higher educational institution. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of the dhikr behaviour intensity on the level of work fatigue. The results of the research show that the intensity of the dhikr behaviour does not affect the level of work fatigue among administrative workers in higher education.
