Abstract

This study is intended to review on how to design multiple-intellegences-based learning in primary schools and its relevance with the effort to understand the children’s multiple intellengences. The paper is based on the current condition in the field that most teachers are unable to present effective and ideal teaching. Therefore, it is no wonder that many students are drown in boredom. The methodology employed in this research are literature review, documentation and interview. Designing multile-intellegencie-based learning is actually not difficult and can be applied to complete the concepts of contextual teaching and learning and integrated learning. The multiple-intellegences-based learning will strengthen and empower the children’s intellegences. This teaching model can be used as a constructive effort to be more understanding on various children’ intellegences.   Kata Kunci: pemelajaran, multiple intellegences, kecerdasan

Abstract

Background: Bone graft has been widely used in bone tumor reconstructive surgery. Extracorporeal irradiation (ECI) is commonly used to eliminate malignant cells before bone autograft. However, it may have negative effects on autograft incorporation. This study aimed to evaluate the ability of bone autograft incorporation after extra corporeal irradiation. Methods: 24 Sprague-Dawley rats underwent 7-mm en bloc resection of tibial diaphysis, and were divided into 4 groups. The first group did not receive irradiation; the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th groups received 50, 150 and 300 Gy bone irradiation respectively, and then reimplanted. Radiologic score were evaluated at week-6 and -8, while histopathology, osteoblast count and BMP-2 expression were examined at week-8. Data were analyzed with ANOVA or Kruskal-Wallis tests. Results: At week-6, radiologic scores in group 150 and 300 Gy were significantly lower compared to control group (4 vs 6 dan 4 vs 6; p = 0.011; p = 0.01). The same results were also obtained at week-8 (5.40 vs 7.14; p = 0.009 in the group 150 Gy and 5.60 vs 7.14; p = 0.018 in the group 300 Gy. Histopathological scores of the groups receiving 50, 150 and 300 Gy were significantly lower compared to the control group (6 vs 7, p = 0.017; 4 vs 7, p = 0.005; 6 vs 7, p = 0.013). Osteoblast count and BMP-2 expression were not significantly different among all groups. Conclusion: ECI with the dose of 50 to 300 Gy is associated with delayed bone autograft incorporation. However, the osteoinductive and osteogenesis capacity for autograft incorporation were maintained.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The design and development of chess set products into a part of the development of design in the business world, especially children's games. But the current chess sets are less varied. Generally chess set that there is only a royal and has a black and white color without any introduction of Indonesian culture, especially batik East Kalimantan. The current chess set also rarely has good storage so chess storage is not neatly arranged when the game is over. With this in mind, a designer tries to create a better item with new innovations. Like designing a chess set that is easily understood by children, designing a chess set that can introduce East Kalimantan batik culture especially Dayak Kenyah batik, and designing chess sets that have aesthetic value. In this report with the title "Set chess for children with batik motif east kalimantan" gives a new alternative in the development of furniture design especially chess sets. With the design methods that have been done include: data collection analysis, design alterrnatif, design development of selected alternatives, and final design. So produced chess set design for children who have a modern minimalist design style. Keywords: Set, Chess, For, Children, Motif, Batik, East, Borneo

Abstract

flexibility of the appearance of electronic devices currently causes new demands on digital media, especially for the provision of content. Until now, images, although an important element in digital media, usually remain rigid in terms of size and cannot change size so that they cannot adjust to different layouts automatically. The solution to overcome this problem is by resizing the image. One method that works well for resizing images is seam carving. Seam carving aims to resize the image by not eliminating important content in the image. This study aims to see the effect of changing the texture of seam carving images to images that have different levels of complexity. The trial was conducted by comparing the original image and seam carving image. Seam carving image used is differentiated based on the ratio scale, which is 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%. Testing is done by processing 4 image samples using the Gray Level Co-Occurence Matrix (GLCM) method including Contrast, Correlation, Energy and Homogeneity. Then testing is done by comparing the original image with seam carving image using the features of GLCM. From the test results it can be concluded that seam carving as a method of resizing images can work well, with the comparison of textures using GLCM the highest level of similarity reaches 98% and the lowest is 86%.

Abstract

Environmentally friendly lubricants are lubricants that are easily dissolved in the environment and are not harmful to the ecosystem. It uses to reduce the heat in the contact area so that the machinability of the workpiece and the ability of the chisel will increase. To minimize the use of bio-cutting fluids, lubrication is carried out by minimum drop lubrication in the lathe process. The purpose of this research is to comply with the surface roughness of the workpiece and the shape of the chip. The material used is aluminum 6061, the natural oil used are rubber seed oil, virgin coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, and castor oil. The turning parameters were the depth of cut 0.5 mm, spindle speed of 330 rpm, feed rate 0.231 mm/rev, tool angle 90o, drop lubrication 192 ml/hour, infeed length 100 mm. The results of the research showed that virgin coconut oil has the lowest surface roughness. This is because the viscosity value of virgin coconut oil is very small so that the flow rate is able to work perfectly to lubricate the contact area. It has a thin chip configuration, the tool also wears but did not experience cracks.

Abstract

The Indonesian people's commitment to literacy is being actively promoted through a range of platforms, including forums, groups, activists, and the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud), both online and offline. The task is particularly formidable amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, which has significantly impacted several aspects of people's lives, including education, over the past two years. The collective endeavors made by different entities not only aim to increase the level of reading awareness in Indonesian society but also strive to achieve a higher goal, which is to enhance literacy and work consciousness among the Indonesian population, particularly those involved in the academic and educational sphere. The literacy program has grown to include social media as a platform, in response to the growing technology advancements. This appears to enhance the depth and diversity of literacy initiatives, such as the @publikasiilmiah Instagram account, which boasts a following of 69.3 thousand individuals and has shared 15.9 thousand pieces of information. Subsequently, the writer does library research, employing qualitative analytical methodologies and drawing upon the ethnographic theory of cyber-virtual media. The user's text is “Rulli Nasrullah.” By sharing informative content through the @publikasiilmiah account, which reaches a wide online audience, the account demonstrates a high level of expertise in the field of cyber media. This expertise has positive effects on motivation and literacy in activities such as journal writing contests, conferences, and webinars.
