Abstract

Amid global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and the development of digital technology, the younger generation has a very strategic role in shaping a more inclusive, critical, and sustainable global perspective. This article aims to examine the contribution of the younger generation in building global awareness through education, utilization of digital media, and involvement in social activism. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study reveals that global education is able to instill cross-cultural values and social responsibility from an early age. On the other hand, digital literacy provides space for young people to become active actors in the dissemination of constructive global narratives. Their participation in various social movements also shows concern for humanitarian and environmental issues. However, challenges such as inequality in access to education, digital disinformation, and lack of participatory space are still obstacles. Therefore, synergy is needed between educational institutions, government, and society to create an ecosystem that supports the role of the younger generation as agents of global change.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation between service quality and customer satisfaction at BRI's Panacan branch, focusing on five key service quality indicators: tangible evidence, responsiveness, assurance, reliability, and empathy. Customer satisfaction is assessed using five factors: overall service quality, meeting customer expectations, repeat usage intention, willingness to refer others, and dissatisfaction. Data analysis using SPSS revealed a robust positive correlation (r = 0.866) between service quality and customer satisfaction, validating the hypothesis that improved service quality enhances customer satisfaction. Significant findings indicate that employee friendliness (a measure of responsiveness) scored 57.8%, while well-maintained facilities, such as ample parking and comfortable waiting areas (a measure of tangible evidence), scored 55.8%, representing the highest scores. Security and reliability were satisfactory but slightly lower, at 50% and 46.8%, respectively. These outcomes align with theories such as SERVQUAL and Expectancy Disconfirmation, which highlight the importance of surpassing customer expectations to achieve satisfaction. Additionally, seamless transactions (50%) positively impact customer satisfaction, reflecting Cognitive Dissonance Theory. The willingness of customers to recommend the bank (42.2%) demonstrates their trust in its services, aligning with Loyalty Theory. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that excellent service quality is essential for enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Continuous improvement is vital to maintaining customer confidence and ensuring the sustained success of banking operations.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the question-and-answer method in improving student participation in science learning in Class III of SD N 40/I Bajubang Laut. The background of this study was the low level of student participation in science learning, which was still dominated by the lecture method, causing students to become passive and less involved in the learning process. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 20 students, including 8 male students and 12 female students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the question-and-answer method significantly improved student participation. The average student participation increased from 30.9% in the pre-cycle stage to 53.6% in Cycle I and further increased to 81.8% in Cycle II. In addition, student learning mastery also improved from 35.4% in the pre-cycle stage to 85.4% in Cycle II. The findings indicate that the structured implementation of the question-and-answer method, accompanied by the use of simple questions, think time, reinforcement, and concrete media, was effective in creating active, interactive, and meaningful science learning. Therefore, the question-and-answer method can be used as an alternative teaching method to improve student participation and learning outcomes in elementary school science learning
