Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the combined dose of mustard greens based on the optimal dose of NPK inorganic fertilizer and rabbit urine organic fertilizer that could increase the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). This study used an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of a combination of NPK and rabbit urine with 11 treatments repeated 3 times so that 33 experimental units were obtained and then analyzed using the DMRT test level 5%. The parameters analyzed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (sheet/plant), leaf length (cm), leaf area (cm2), plant weight (grams/plant), plant weight suitable for consumption (grams/plant), and plant weight per plot (grams/plant). The results showed that the combination treatment of NPK and rabbit urine had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and leaf length. The results of treatment H (NPK fertilizer 150 kg/ha rabbit urine 20 lt/ha) gave the highest leaf area of ​​266.36 cm2, the highest plant space weight was 192.00 grams/plant, fresh weight of plants suitable for consumption was 182.15 grams/plant. plants and the highest plant weight per plot was 1796.67 grams/plot.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air pada peserta didik dengan kegiatan upacara bendera, pembiasaan menyanyikan lagu nasional sebelum dan sesudah aktivitas belajar mengajar di sekolah. Dari kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat menjembatani peserta didik dari karakter negatif yang mungkin terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam menanamkan sikap cinta tanah air pada siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 55/I Sridadi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan melalui mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi yang dilakukan untuk menanamkan sikap cinta tanah air pada siswa yaitu melalui: (1) kegiatan belajar mengajar, dengan melakukan pembiasaan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, menjaga kebersihan dan kerapian dalam kelas, menyanyikan lagu-lagu nasional sebelum pembelajaran, mengajarkan materi yang mendukung cinta tanah air. (2) budaya sekolah, melakukan kegiatan upacara bendera setiap hari Senin, kegiatan jum’at yasinan, peringatan hari kemerdekaan, hari sumpah pemuda dan hari pahlawan. (3) ekstrakurikuler, berupa pelaksanaan kegiatan pramuka. Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model Assisted by Educational Comic Media in improving the reading comprehension concept abilities of Class III Students at SDN 112/I Perumnas. This type of research is classroom action research. This research data was obtained from observation, tests and documentation. Then the data was analyzed qualitatively by describing the increase in students' reading comprehension skills using educational comic media and quantitatively in the form of students' reading test scores. Based on the results of research related to the application of the (CIRC) Model Assisted by Educational Comic Media, it is able to improve the concept of reading comprehension in students. In the first cycle it was discovered that the students' reading level was still low with a percentage reaching 44%, meaning that it had not reached the indicators expected in this research, and after improvements were made in the second cycle it increased with a percentage reaching 76%. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the actions provided by implementing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by educational comic media were successful in improving students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of applying the Flashcard Media-Based Glenn Doman method in increasing Reading Interest of Class I Students at SDN 134/I Merbau. This type of research is classroom action research. The research data was obtained from observation. Then the data were analyzed qualitatively by describing the increase in students' reading interest using flashcard media and quantitatively in the form of students' reading interest scores. Based on the research results, the application of the Glenn Doman method based on flashcard media was able to increase students' interest in reading. This is because students experience an increase in reading interest by paying attention to each indicator of reading interest in their learning which can be seen in each cycle. In the cycle I know that the level of interest in reading students is in the "sufficient" classification with a percentage reaching 54.3%, meaning that it has not reached the expected indicators in this study, and after making improvements in the second cycle, it increases to the "good" classification with a percentage reaching 75.3%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that applying the Glenn Doman method based on flashcard media can increase students' interest in reading in class I SDN 134/I Merbau. This can be seen from the increase in each indicator of interest in reading in each meeting cycle

Abstract

One important aspect of language skills, especially in an educational context, is the ability to speak, which plays a crucial role in shaping intelligent, critical, and creative generations. The speaking abilities of children greatly influence their success in both school and at home. Observations and interviews have revealed that some students are less active in speaking, often stutter, and speak softly, and their expressions need improvement. This research aims to analyze the level of speaking skills of fourth-grade students in the subject of Indonesian language at SD Negeri 45/I Sridadi, Muaro Bulian Subdistrict. This study is a descriptive quantitative research that utilizes data from speaking skill tests. The research population consists of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 45/I Sridadi, totaling 22 students. The sampling method used is a census. The research results indicate that the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 45/I Sridadi in the subject of Indonesian language fall into the "good" category (64%). Students' speaking abilities are evaluated as good across various aspects, including pronunciation (66%), intonation (65%), fluency (65%), accuracy of meaning and content (63%), and expression (63%). In conclusion, the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 45/I Sridadi can be categorized as good, as evidenced by positive assessments in various aspects of speaking skills, including pronunciation, intonation, fluency, accuracy of meaning and content, and expression.

Abstract

Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) plays a key role in shaping prospective teachers' understanding of Social Sciences (IPS). The complexity of social studies material and its strategic role in basic education requires increased understanding of PGSD students. With diverse backgrounds, a learning approach is needed that integrates this diversity. A group approach is considered a potential solution to achieve these goals. The formation of groups, based on similar backgrounds or interests, is expected to create a focused and relevant discussion environment. This research explores the extent to which group formation and application of a group approach improves PGSD students' understanding of basic social studies concepts. Learning through groups stimulates the application of concepts in practical situations. Group discussions give students the opportunity to link theory with direct experience through collaborative projects. The use of various learning resources, such as books, articles, videos and online learning, is integral in supporting student understanding. This research also investigates meetings with social studies experts to improve PGSD students' understanding. Expert involvement is expected to provide additional insights and in-depth perspectives, helping students develop a comprehensive understanding of basic social studies concepts. Through individual and group reflection, this research observes the internalization of understanding of PGSD students. Individual coaching sessions help students overcome difficulties during learning. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide new insights and make a significant contribution to increasing PGSD students' understanding of basic social studies concepts through a group approach. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, carried out at PGSD Jambi University for the 2022/2023 academic year. The increase in student understanding was seen to be significant after implementing the group approach, indicating that this method can be effective in improving the quality of teacher education and creating a deep and relevant understanding of basic social studies concepts.

Abstract

History education in elementary schools plays a critical role in shaping students' understanding of the concepts of space and time. This research aims to analyze the extent of students' understanding of this concept. A good understanding of temporal and spatial dimensions not only creates the basis for in-depth historical knowledge, but also strengthens the links between historical events, geographic locations, and the development of civilization. Factors such as teachers' teaching methods, textbooks, and students' personal experiences influence their understanding. Interactive teaching methods and textbooks that support learning activities make a positive contribution, while the complexity of textbooks can be an obstacle. Personal experiences, such as visits to historical sites, also influence students' understanding. The research results contribute to the development of history curricula by emphasizing a variety of teaching methods, textbook selection, and the integration of students' personal experiences. The research implications can improve teaching methods and learning materials, utilizing interactive approaches and diverse resources. This research plays a role in developing more effective history learning strategies by understanding the factors that shape student understanding. Overall, the research results provide insight into improving the effectiveness of history learning at the elementary school level through a better understanding of the concepts of space and time.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi analisis perkembangan peserta didik dengan pendekatan TaRL di sekolah dasar. TaRL adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyesuaikan materi pembelajaran dengan tingkat pemahaman individu peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi dokumen atau literatur. Pendekatan kualitatif menekankan pada pemahaman mendalam atas fenomena yang diteliti. Analisis data dilakukan dengan studi literatur yang mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai dokumen tertulis, seperti artikel jurnal, buku, laporan, dan dokumen resmi lainnya yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasilnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis perkembangan peserta didik dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) di sekolah dasar menunjukkan dampak positif metode ini terhadap perkembangan peserta didik. Implementasi TaRL di sekolah dasar menjadi strategi yang berpotensi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menghasilkan peserta didik yang lebih siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan penerapan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung serta Mendeskripsikan peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut pada mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah di SD Negeri 14/1 Sungai Baung, yang berlokasi di Sungai Baung, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batanghari, khususnya pada siswa kelas V. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VA SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung yang berjumlah 22 orang, yang terdiri dari 11 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data, peneliti dibantu oleh guru kelas. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik catatan lapangan observasi, wawancara,serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengujian validitas menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini ditandai dengan meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dikelas VA SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung. Prosedur penelitian tindakan dilakukan secara bertahap dalam 2 siklus dengan 2 kegiatan pembelajaran per siklus. Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas mengacu pada model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Dalam model ini terdapat empat tahapan kegiatan pada satu putaran (siklus) yaitu, perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan (observasi) dan refleksi (reflecting). Berdasarkan perolehan analisis data dari pelaksanaan penelitian pada proses pembelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. keaktifan belajar siswa dapat meningkat, dapat diamati melalui indikator keaktifan belajar siswa: meningikuti pembelajaran dengan bersemangat, berani menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru, siswa berdiskusi dengan kelompok, memiliki usaha untuk memcahkan masalah, dan berani mempresentasikan hasil diskusinya didepan kelas. Pada peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut terjadi secara bertahap dan konsisten dari siklus I hingga siklus II, dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbantuan aplikasi CapCut yaitu media pembelajaran yang menggabungkan gambar bergerak dan suara untuk menyampaikam informasi dan pesan pembelajaran, dan meningkatkan daya tarik dan efektifitas dalam pembelajaran. Perolehan hasil pengamatan kekatifan belajar siswa terlihat pada siklus I pertemuan I terjadi peningkatan dimana 5 siswa sebesar 49,47% dengan kategori kurang aktif, , pada siklus I pertemuan II terjadi peningkatan dimana 7 siswa sebesar cukup aktif%, pada siklus II pertemuan I terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 10 siswa sebesar 67,95% cukup aktif, dan pada siklus II pertemuan II terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 15 siswa sebesar 71,59% siswa dengan kategori aktif yang dibuktikan dengan hampir siswa kelas V SDN 14/1 Sungai Baung memenuhi seluruh indikatoor keaktifan belajar.

Abstract

Amid global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and the development of digital technology, the younger generation has a very strategic role in shaping a more inclusive, critical, and sustainable global perspective. This article aims to examine the contribution of the younger generation in building global awareness through education, utilization of digital media, and involvement in social activism. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study reveals that global education is able to instill cross-cultural values and social responsibility from an early age. On the other hand, digital literacy provides space for young people to become active actors in the dissemination of constructive global narratives. Their participation in various social movements also shows concern for humanitarian and environmental issues. However, challenges such as inequality in access to education, digital disinformation, and lack of participatory space are still obstacles. Therefore, synergy is needed between educational institutions, government, and society to create an ecosystem that supports the role of the younger generation as agents of global change.
