With technique simple random sampling there was sample of 87 respondents obtained, the independent variable (source of information and level of anxiety) and the dependent variable (participation in IUD use) used a questionnaire. Statistical tests are used Chi-Square to find out the relationship between the two variables. The results of research from 87 respondents showed that most of the criteria respondents did not get a source of information about IUD use as many as 54 respondents (62.1%), the majority of respondents experienced moderate anxiety about IUD use, namely 47 respondents (54%), and it was found that the majority of respondents The criteria for not participating in IUD use were 79 respondents (90.8%). Analysis uses statistical tests Chi-Square It was found that there was a relationship between the source of information and participation in using the IUD, namely p value = 0.000 < 0.05, and there was a relationship between the level of anxiety and participation in using the IUD, namely p value = 0.001 < 0.05. It is necessary to seek various sources of information from various parties (for example through print media, electronic media, through friends, family and competent health workers) before making a decision, especially information about the side effects and limitations of IUD contraception, so that respondents are not anxious and do not hesitate to take part in IUD use.

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between knowledge of the elderly and family support on the range of activities of the elderly. The type of research used in this research is analytical observational with a cross sectional design. Data processing and analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The collection technique was simple random sampling with a sample size of 41 respondents. Location and time of research at the Baidub posyandu in the working area of the Ulilin health center in February 2024. The research results showed that of the 41 respondents, the majority of elderly people in Baidub village were elderly and young elderly (78%) with the highest level of education, namely elementary school (63%). Then from the level of knowledge about posyandu it can be said that it is not good because the results show that the elderly have a sufficient level of knowledge (32%) and less knowledge (36%). Likewise, family support is still said to be lacking because research results show that family support is lacking (56%). This causes the elderly to be less active in going to the Posyandu for the elderly, with research results showing that the number of elderly people going to the posyandu is less or not active (56%).The significant relationship between knowledge of the elderly and the activity of the elderly in going to Posyandu can be seen from the calculation results Chi Square with Contingency Correlation Coefficient analysis found a result of 0.45 with a significance level of a = 0.05. Meanwhile, the significant relationship between family support and elderly activity at the posyandu can be seen from the results of the Chi Square calculation and contingency analysis coefficient with a result of 0.64 with a significance level of a = 0.05. Conclusion: From the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge of the elderly and family support and the activity of the elderly at the elderly posyandu in Baidub Village in the working area of the Ulilin Community Health Center, Merauke district.

The incidence of anemia suffered by pregnant women at the Wasur Kampung Posyandu was caused by the majority of respondents consuming betel nut which has become a culture in the WasurKamping community. This study aims to determine the behavior of consuming betel nut on the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. This study uses a secondary data research design of anemia with a cross sectional approach. With the Total Sampling technique , a sample of 25 respondents was obtained, the independent variable of betel nut consumption using a questionnaire and the dependent variable of anemia incidence by looking at the records in the Register of Pregnant Women Cohort Wasur Kampung was used by the Spear-Mann statistical test to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results of the study from 25 respondents were obtained that most of the respondents consumed betel nut as many as 20 respondents (80%), of the 20 respondents who consumed betel nut areca nut all consumed betel nut ≥ 2 times a day and ≥ 2 pieces a day (100%). And it was found that most of the 20 respondents who consumed betel nut had moderate anemia as many as 17 people (85%). The analysis using the Non-Parametric Spear-Mann test obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.403*. This means that the level of strength of the relationship (correlation) between the free variable and the bound variable is 0.403 or strong. Based on the output, it is known that the significance value or Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.046, because the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.046 > is smaller than 0.05 or 0.01, it means that there is a significant relationship between areca nut consumption and the incidence of anemia.

Abstract

Maternal mortality and infant mortality are indicators of good and bad health services in a country or region. The higher the maternal mortality rate indicates poor health services. One of the efforts made to reduce MMR is by encouraging every birth to be attended by trained health workers in health service facilities. The aim of this research was to determine the perceptions of pregnant women in the third trimester regarding preparation for childbirth in health facilities and traditional birth attendants at Polindes Murano. The research method used is a qualitative research method which is research on the conditions of natural objects where the researcher is the key instrument. The selection of research informants used the purposive method. There were 8 research informants, 5 key informants and 2 traditional shamans and 1 midwife. The research results showed that there were several informants who still chose to give birth at home with the help of midwives and traditional healers. There are several influencing factors, including distance from home and ancestral traditions. People trust shamans more because shamans are considered to have spiritual powers in assisting childbirth so that the birthing process runs smoothly. Traditional healers have known how to help with childbirth for generations. The midwife realizes that the beliefs held by the community at Polindes Murano cannot be changed in a short time, so the midwife hopes that the midwife can partner with the shaman in assisting with childbirth.Pregnant women can provide information about helpers and safe birthing places.
