Abstract

Background: Diabetes is a group of metabolic disease characterized by increased glucose levels in the blood caused by the secretion of insulin . Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a correlation study approach. This research was conducted on 02-29 August 2020. The samples in this study were as many as 40 people taken with purposive sampling techniques. Data collection by measuring blood sugar levels of DM Type II patients and Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) values. Data analyzed univariate and bivariate using spearman rank test. Results: The results showed from 40 respondents, blood sugar levels were unstable as many as 21 respondents (52.5%) and normal category ABI scores of 23 respondents (57.5%). No choleration of blood glucose levels with Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) of diabetes mellitus type II patients with a value of p = 0.053 > 0.05. Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the health problems that are often found in the community. Every year 15-45% of adults suffer from low back pain, and one in 20 sufferers must be hospitalized due to acute attacks. Risk factors that influence the occurrence of low back pain include work period, work attitude and gender. This study aims to determine the relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Pain Complaints in the Neurological Polyclinic of Royal Prima Jambi Hospital. The population in this study were all low back pain sufferers at the Nerve Polyclinic at Royal Prima Jambi Hospital from 425 people in May and sampling was done using accidental sampling technique which amounted to 78 patients. The analysis in this study using the Chi-square test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Complaints in the Neurological Polyclinic of Royal Prima Jambi Hospital with a P-Value value of <0.05. There is a relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Complaints in the Nerve Polyclinic Royal Prima Jambi Hospital.  Keywords: Working Period, Work Attitude, Gender, Low Back Pain

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term medication adherence. Patients’ compliance is often influenced by their knowledge and family support. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and family support with medication adherence among hypertensive patients at Poliklinik Pratama Biddokkes Polda Jambi.Methods: This study used an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of hypertensive patients undergoing regular treatment. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test.Results: The study found that most patients with high knowledge and good family support were more adherent to medication. There was a significant relationship between knowledge (p < 0.05) and family support (p < 0.05) with medication adherence.Conclusion: Patient knowledge and family support significantly influence medication adherence in hypertensive patients. Educational interventions and family involvement are essential to improve patient compliance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Spiritual merupakan faktor penting bagi individu dalam menjaga kesehatan, kesejahteraan, serta beradaptasi dengan penyakit. Asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan pada pasien pasca operasi lebih banyak berorientasi pada masalah keperawatan domain fisik, untuk domain spiritual masih kurang maksimal, salah satunya adalah pelaksanaan ibadah shalat saat pasien dirawat. Banyak pasien setelah dilakukan operasi tidak melaksanakan sholat. Meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta serta membantu perawat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual pasien pasca operasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan, edukasi menggunakan video serta simulasi tata cara bersuci dan sholat bagi pasien. Dari 31 peserta, 28 (90.3%) mengaku puas dengan materi yang diberikan, dan 23 (74.2%) peserta memiliki kategori pengetahuan tinggi. Sebagian besar peserta mengetahui dan memahami tata cara bersuci dan beribadah bagi pasien. Diharapkan pihak rumah sakit memfasilitasi media kebutuhan bersuci bagi pasien. Kata Kunci: Spiritual, Ibadah, Post Operasi  ABSTRACT Spirituality is an important factor for individuals in maintaining health, well-being, and adapting to disease. The nursing care provided to post-operative patients is more oriented towards physical domain nursing problems, while the spiritual domain is still less than optimal, one of which is the implementation of prayers while the patient is being treated. Many patients after surgery do not pray. Increase participants' knowledge and assist nurses in meeting the spiritual needs of post-operative patients. The activities are carried out using counseling methods, education using videos and simulations of procedures for purifying and praying for patients. Of the 31 participants, 28 (90.3%) said they were satisfied with the material provided, and 23 (74.2%) participants had a high knowledge category. Most of the participants know and understand the procedures for purification and worship for patients. It is hoped that the hospital will facilitate the media for the need for purification for patients. Keywords: Spiritual, Worship, Post Surgery
