Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu sumber belajar, yaitu merupakan segala sesuatu yang memudahkan peserta didik memperoleh informasi pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan keterampilan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dalam kurikulum Geografi di sekolah terdapat materi pelestarian lingkungan. Materi ini merupakan salah satu materi yang penting untuk disampaikan kepada peserta didik, karena berkaitan langsung dengan kondisi lingkungan peserta didik dalam keadaan sehari-hari. Bahan ajar Geografi yang ada selama ini dinilai kurang dapat menjabarkan apa yang diperlukan dan yang penting dibutuhkan bagi peserta didik di daerah-daerah rawan bencana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah mealui Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Geografi Berbasis Penangulangan Bencana Melalui Pembelajaran Komputer dapat menuntaskan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini digolongkan dalan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat developmental, karena mengembangkan Bahan Ajar Geografi Berbasis Penangulangan Bencana Melalui Pembelajaran Komputer untuk menemukan suatu model atau prototype yang efektif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMU Kota Langsa dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMU Negeri 5 Langsa, siswa SMU Negeri 5 Langsa. Analisis terhadap hasil penelitian menggunakan mikrosof Exel untuk mengamati kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, ativitas guru dan siswa, hasil belajar, serta respon siswa terhadap pengembangan bahan ajar pembelajaran dan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka simpulan yang dapat dikemukakan adalah : (1) Bahan Ajar Siswa, RP, LKS, serta media pembelajaran adalah baik. (2) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran adalah baik. (3) Aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam KBM adalah baik. (4) Hasil tes deskriptif terhadap THB menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat, ini tercermin pada ketuntasan belajar baik TPK dan proporsi jawaban benar. (5) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan KBM adalah baik.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss disaster mitigation training and simulation for students of SMPN 2 Kuala Simpang. Disasters can occur at any time without knowing when the disaster will occur, both non-natural disasters and natural disasters, non-natural disasters such as fire, Covid-19, war and others that are non-natural, while natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and landslides. So to anticipate disaster mitigation, it is necessary to carry out simulations and training for junior high school students. The solutions for this service are: (1) Providing alternative solutions for students in overcoming disasters that have arisen in the Aceh Tamiang region. (2) Teaching directly how training and simulations in dealing with disasters that will occur in the Aceh Tamiang area for students of SMPN 2 Kuala Simpang. The results of the discussion are that the socialization of disaster mitigation provides an alternative in understanding students so that they can know how to deal with disasters such as floods, earthquakes and others that often occur in the area, students and teachers better understand how to deal with disaster mitigation and related first aid in dealing with a disaster that occurs and how to deal with disaster mitigation awareness and the lack of knowledge of teachers and students in knowing how to deal with natural disasters and limited communication tools at SMPN 2 Kuala Simpang School and in general students and teachers around do not have access to handling disaster mitigation at school.

Abstract

Permasalahan untuk dapat memperoleh pendidikan lanjutan yang terbaik sudah menjadi lumrah merupakan impian yang dimiliki oleh mitra yang berasal dari Sekolah unggul di Kabupaten Aceh Timur yakni SMA Unggul Aceh Timur dimana hasil observasi diperoleh bahwa lulusan dan wali murid berkeinginan agar anak didik di SMA Unggul Aceh Timur setelah menjadi alumni dapat mencicipi pendidikan di luar negeri dengan masuk ke universitas skala internasional. kurangnya sosialisasi terhadap siswa sekolah menengah atas tahun akhir berkaitan dengan informasi yag dibutuhkan untuk mempersiapkan diri agar dapat memperoleh beasiswa ke luar negeri baik dalam hal persyaratan administrasi maupun trik belajar bahasa inggris yang merupakan persyaratan dalam hal bahasa dimana bahasa inggris adalah bahasa internasional. Sehingga tim pengabdian perlu memberikan solusi dari permasalahan mitra dengan melaksanakan pelatihan persiapan kuliah ke luar negeri. Para siswa pada akhirnya memperoleh informasi beasiswa ke luar negeri dan trik-trik untuk memenuhi administrasi persyaratan kuliah ke luar negeri.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap ketertarikan menambah waktu belajar Fisika, dimana siswa tertarik ingin lebih tahu tentang pelajaran Fisika dengan memanfaatkan waktu luangnya. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket yang diberikan kepada Responden. Hasil penelitian menyatakan pada indikator Kognisi, sikap siswa terhadap indikator kognisi tergolong Baik, yang berarti bahwa siswa memiliki pemahaman/keyakinan tentang mamfaat pelajaran Fisika. Kemudian pada indikator Afeksi, sikap siswa juga tergolong Baik, yang berarti bahwa memiliki rasa senang terhadap pelajaran fisika. Pada indikator Konasi menyatakan sikap siswa Cukup, yang berarti bahwa sikap siswa terhadap kecendrungan untuk bertindak terkait dengan pelajaran Fisika tidak begitu baik. Dalam hal ini guru perlu mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap siswa terhadap kecendrung melakukan suatu tindakan pada pelajaran Fisika misalnya, siswa tidak ingin mempelajari kembali tugas yang diberikan oleh guru, pembahasan soal-soal Fisika atau bahkan siswa kurang tertarik melakukan demontrasi terhadap alat Fisika.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has redefined educational practices and emphasized the need to enhance teachers’ competencies in implementing interactive learning tools. This study aims to examine the challenges and opportunities associated with teacher professional development in digitally enriched classrooms. Adopting a qualitative case study design, the research utilizes semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis to investigate how targeted professional development programs influence pedagogical practices and support the integration of interactive technologies. A total of 25 teachers were selected from a diverse mix of educational levels, including primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. Findings indicate that structured training programs, grounded in theoretical frameworks such as TPACK and SAMR, significantly enhance teachers’ capacity to foster student engagement and improve learning outcomes. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of collaborative learning communities and sustained support systems in maintaining teachers’ digital competence. This study concludes that continuous, theory-informed, and context-sensitive professional development initiatives are essential for equipping educators to navigate the complexities of modern digital classrooms. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital pedagogy by providing practical insights and strategic recommendations for advancing teacher development in the context of interactive learning technologies.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students’ understanding and preparedness for potential disasters through a disaster mitigation education and simulation program at SMPN 1 Kejuruan Muda. This area is prone to natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and fires, making it necessary to implement systematic preventive approaches from an early age. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The education program was delivered through interactive counseling sessions and educational visual media, while the simulation was conducted in the form of emergency evacuation drills involving the entire school community. The results of the study show a significant increase in students’ understanding of types of disasters, self-rescue procedures, and the importance of cooperation in emergency situations. Moreover, students showed a positive and enthusiastic response to the simulation activities, reinforcing the effectiveness of experience-based learning. Teachers and school staff also actively participated in the program, creating an environment that supports the development of a disaster-aware culture. In conclusion, disaster mitigation education and simulation are effective strategies in fostering students’ alertness and responsiveness to disaster threats. The study recommends integrating disaster education into the school curriculum and conducting regular training sessions as part of strengthening the school’s capacity for disaster resilience.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to develop digital-based learning media in the form of Disaster Mitigation Maps as a learning resource in identifying disaster-prone areas in Langsa City. With the increasing risk of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, tsunamis, earthquakes, forest and land fires, and thawing disasters, innovation is needed in delivering disaster mitigation information that is more interactive and easily accessible. Methodology: The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving disaster experts, educators, and students as the main respondents. Main Findings: The results of the study show that the Digital Disaster Mitigation Map can improve students' understanding in identifying disaster-prone areas and mitigation measures that need to be taken. This media is also considered effective and attractive based on the results of expert validation and user trials. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study found that the Digital Disaster Mitigation Map was effective in increasing students' understanding of disaster-prone areas in Langsa City with an increase in understanding from 60% to 85%, and was considered innovative and effective by 90% of teachers compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

This study explores a community-based model to mitigate the crisis of basic literacy and numeracy in underdeveloped rural villages through the collaborative facilitation by parents and teachers using local educational games. Employing a qualitative research methodology, the study analyzes the effectiveness of integrating traditional games in literacy and numeracy development in disadvantaged village settings in Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews, focus groups, and observations involving educators, parents, and village children. Findings indicate that the model fosters increased engagement, comprehension, and supportive learning environments at home and schools. The participatory approach enhances awareness, motivation, and the application of basic numeracy and literacy skills, suggesting a culturally contextualized sustainable strategy for rural education improvement.
