Abstract

With the increasing trend of wellness tourism, as one branch of it, yoga tourism has become new opportunity that should be anticipated for tourism in Bali. Yoga tourism attempts to preserve or promote their tourist health, additionally to its regular tourist comforts. The aim this research is to develop a conceptual model of factors that influencing yoga tourism. By this study, some aspects of yoga tourism research are reviewed to summarize the factors that influencing yoga tourism in Bali based earlier literature. The factors divided to push factor and pull factor. Existing studies are largely limited to secondary research works in yoga tourism. It is recommended that future studies should be empirically study the conceptual model offers by this research.

Abstract

Geguritan merupakan sebuah puisi naratif, karena dilihat dari segi bentuk adalah puisi sedangkan dari segi isinya adalah bercerita (naratif). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat keindahan stilistika yang ada pada setiap pupuh-pupuh karya sastra tradisional Bali. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan menjadikan naskah Geguritan Maniguna sebagai objek penelitian. Geguritan Maniguna merupakan sebuah karya sastra tradisional Bali yang dibangun oleh pupuh-pupuh dalam bentuk yang variatif dan terikat oleh aturan yang disebut pada lingsa pupuh. Pupuh-pupuh yang digunakan dalam Geguritan Maniguna, meliputi: Pupuh Dangdanggula, Pupuh Durma, Pupuh Semarandana, Pupuh Pupuh Pangkur, dan Pupuh Sinom. Gaya bahasa yang ditemukan pada Geguritan Maniguna adalah gaya bahasa perbandingan, seperti: perumpamaan, personifikasi, antitesis. Gaya bahasa pertentangan, seperti: hiperbola, litotes, oksimoron. Gaya bahasa pertautan, seperti: eufemisme, eponim, antonomasia.Kata Kunci: Pupuh, Geguritan dan Stilistika

Abstract

Geguritan yang bermotifkan panji, isi ceritanya cenderung menindas kaum perempuan. Akan tetapi, tidak semua perempuan hanya pasrah menerima keadaan seperti itu dan berusaha untuk bertahan serta melawan dominasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bentuk hegemoni laki â?? laki terhadap perempuan dalam teks Geguritan Maniguna.Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Kritik Sastra Feminis dengan penekanan pada konsep Kritik Sastra Feminis Sosialis-Marxis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara serta ditunjang dengan metode pembacaan. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif analitik dan dibantu teknik baca. Penyajian hasil analisis data dilakukan secara sistematis dengan metode informal.Berdasarkan analisis Geguritan Maniguna ditemukan, bentuk hegemoni laki â?? laki terhadap perempuan, yaitu (1) bentuk utama yaitu memperjuangkan harkat dan martabat hidup perempuan, dan (2) bentuk penunjang, seperti: (a) loyalitas, kesetiaan kepada suami dan (b) solidaritas, perasaan senasib yang tertindas untuk membangun kekuatan dalam keluarga. Kata kunci: geguritan, hegemoni, feminisme.

Abstract

Balinese society has debated on Warna, Kasta (caste), and Wangsa stratification has been going on for a long time because of a lack of understanding about cultural differences. Bali's social stratification is focused on Wangsa. The title inherited the male line. This fits the ancestral scheme, Purusa, or patrilineal. The author is interested in investigating one of Catur Wangsa's issues in the Candra Bhairawa text focused on group polemics about Warna, Kasta (caste), and Wangsa stratification discourse. The issues addressed in this study are how to stratify Catur Wangsa's duties and responsibilities in Candra Bhairawa text. This study aimed to determine the ideological struggle to stratify Catur Wangsa and Catur Warna in Bali. The method used in this research is to study literature by gathering primary and secondary data. This study results in (1 ) identifying and charting Catur Warna and Catur Warna (2)Duties of Wangsa Brahmana, Wangsa Ksatria, Wangsa Waisya, Wangsa Sudra (3) The Wangsa philosophical conflict in society poses two points of view, notably, the desire to retain the Wangsa and release the Wangsa with several stages of the Diksa Ceremony.

Abstract

The people enthusiastically received the Candra Bhairawa manuscript. Its purpose of altering legitimacy is to validate Shiva Buddha syncretism in Bali. Problem in this study is text transformation on Candra Bhairawa manuscript for community. To describe Candra Bhairawa manuscript as one of the texts that justify Shiva Buddhist syncretism in society. This study is qualitative and uses structural functionalism theory. The Candra Bhairawa manuscript data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and reading methods. Data analysis in prose and poetry with Old Javanese and Balinese into a descriptive form in Indonesian. Based on the value systems and beliefs of individuals and groups, the research explains the legitimacy process. The syncretism of Shiva Buddha combines Shiva and Buddha teachings. That the two teachings of Shiva (karma sanyasa) and Buddhist teachings (yoga sanyasa) may be combined into one is proof of the legitimacy of Shiva Buddhist syncretis which can bring balance and harmony.

Abstract

Pelatihan teknis penggunaan aplikasi Mentimeter dengan kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk para dosen pemula ialah langkah yang diambil untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi menjadi lebih interaktif dan inovatif. Di era pendidikan digital, aplikasi AI seperti Mentimeter menjadi alat yang efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang berfokus pada partisipasi siswa. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi metode dan manfaat dari pelatihan ini dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Pelatihan mencakup pemahaman dasar tentang Mentimeter, cara praktis dalam mengintegrasikannya dalam pembelajaran, serta strategi untuk memanfaatkannya dalam metode pengajaran. Dosen pemula diberikan kesempatan untuk berlatih, memahami fitur-fitur AI yang relevan, serta merancang sesi pembelajaran interaktif yang melibatkan mahasiswa. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan jika pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dosen pemula dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan inovatif. Aktivitas interaktif mahasiswa melalui Mentimeter meningkat, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan pemahaman mereka serta tingkat partisipasi. Pelatihan ini juga mendorong dosen pemula untuk mengadopsi teknologi AI dalam metode pengajarannya. Oleh karenanya, pelatihan teknis AI Mentimeter memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dengan menyediakan alat yang mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan inovatif di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis Bahasa Indonesia melalui kegiatan "Menulis Blog." Topik ini dipilih karena keterampilan menulis yang baik memiliki peran vital dalam komunikasi global. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online pada 10 November 2023, melibatkan 33 peserta dari berbagai kalangan, termasuk guru, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup identifikasi tujuan, pengembangan materi pelatihan, pilihan platform online, pendampingan, latihan praktis, kolaborasi antar peserta, penilaian, dan sosialisasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan mencakup peningkatan keterampilan menulis, produksi blog berkualitas, peningkatan literasi digital, pembentukan komunitas penulis, dampak positif pada profesi dan pendidikan, serta pengakuan terhadap kemajuan peserta. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, disarankan mendalami dampak jangka panjang partisipasi peserta, efektivitas platform online, dan perkembangan komunitas penulis. Ucapan terima kasih disampaikan kepada instansi yang memberikan dukungan finansial. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan memberikan dampak positif, membuka peluang pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam literasi dan komunikasi di masyarakat.

Abstract

Hindu religious education is the implementation and internalization of values originating from the Vedic scriptures and other Hindu religious scriptures. One of the Hindu religious scripture that teaches about how to shape the behavior of superhuman children is the Nitisastra. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of Hindu religious educational values in the Nitisastra scripture to shape the behavior of the superhuman children. The method used is qualitative research, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and literature study. The results of the study show that Nitisastra contains knowledge about noble values and views of life in society that are worthy of being used as a way of life. In a family, naturally someone yearns for the birth of an ideal son according to the teachings of Hinduism, namely the son of suputra. A child who is virtuous, intelligent, wise, and proud of his family can be called a son of a son. The Nitisastra scripture can be used as a guide for parents to educate their children, because nowadays there are many cases of children who do not respect their parents. The Nitisastra scripture explains that the role of the family (father and mother) is to educate and shape the behavior of the sons of suputra so that one day they will be able to become the next generation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the contribution of educational technology to developing soft skills among Generation Z students in public schools. We employed a qualitative research method, utilizing a case study approach. We collected data through observations and interviews with various stakeholders in public schools. The findings of the study indicate that educational technology positively contributes to enhancing students' soft skills. The use of educational technology facilitates interactive, creative, and adaptive learning, as well as collaboration and interaction among students from diverse backgrounds. However, to maximize the benefits of educational technology, we must address challenges like accessibility gaps and curriculum integration. The study concludes that educational technology holds great potential as a tool to prepare Generation Z for the demands and challenges of an increasingly complex and interconnected workforce.
