Abstract

Batik, as one of Indonesia’s cultural heritages, continues to evolve and is no longer regarded solely as a traditional craft, but has become an important part of today’s creative industry. This study aims to describe how batik is produced, the philosophical meanings embedded in its motifs, and the business opportunities that emerge as digital technology becomes increasingly integrated into production and marketing practices. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research illustrates how traditional batik-making processes are now combined with various forms of digital innovation, such as social-media-based promotion and the use of online marketplace platforms to reach a wider audience. The findings show that digitalization does not only help artisans expand their market reach but also improves promotional effectiveness and strengthens brand identity. In addition, this study supports previous research indicating that digital technology plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability of batik businesses amid growing global competition.

Abstract

This study elaborates on the concept of humanism in Islamic educational philosophy by highlighting in greater depth the role of humans as caliphs on earth. Humanism from an Islamic perspective not only focuses on humans as rational beings but also emphasizes the moral, spiritual, and social responsibilities inherent in the mandate of the caliphate. This study applies a qualitative approach with a literature study, where data is obtained from various written sources such as scientific articles and academic publications that discuss humanism in Islamic education and the concept of the human caliphate. The data collection process is carried out through searching, selecting, and organizing literature relevant to the focus of the study. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques through the stages of simplifying information, grouping findings, and formulating systematic conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the position of humans as caliphs requires the development of intellectual, ethical, and spiritual potential in an integrated manner in the educational process. Therefore, Islamic education needs to be directed towards a holistic humanization process, which not only strengthens reasoning and social character but also fosters a transcendental awareness of human relationships with God, fellow humans, and nature. Thus, humanism in Islamic education is not secular, liberal, or anthropocentric, but is firmly rooted in divine values ​​that harmoniously unite the divine and human dimensions.

Abstract

This article aims to examine teacher professional ethics in the digital era and the strategic role of educational institutions in supporting its implementation. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach through a review of journal articles, books, and relevant scientific documents. The results of the study indicate that teacher professional ethics is a crucial foundation for maintaining teacher integrity, responsibility, honesty, and professionalism amidst the digital transformation. Technological developments provide significant opportunities for improving the quality of learning, but also give rise to ethical challenges, such as the misuse of social media, violations of student privacy, plagiarism, the spread of hoaxes, and the use of artificial intelligence, which has the potential to compromise academic integrity. Educational institutions play a strategic role through the development of digital policies and codes of ethics, supervision and guidance on technology use, the creation of an ethical school culture, and ongoing professional development. This study emphasizes that synergy between teachers and educational institutions is crucial for realizing professionalism that is adaptive, imbued with integrity, and relevant to the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

Anxiety is a psychological problem frequently experienced by adolescents and can impact academic, social, and mental health. This condition requires treatment that focuses not only on the psychological aspects but also on the spiritual dimension. One approach that can be used is tazkiyatun nafs (self-purification), a process of purifying the soul in Islam that aims to foster inner peace and closeness to Allah SWT. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the tazkiyatun nafs approach in reducing anxiety through a literature review. The method used was library research, collecting and analyzing various relevant scientific sources. The results indicate that tazkiyatun nafs is implemented through the stages of ihsan, takhalli, tahalli, and tajalli, which play a role in cleansing the soul of negative traits, instilling praiseworthy morals, and increasing spiritual awareness. Practices such as dhikr (remembrance of God), prayer, reading the Quran, self-reflection (muhasabah), and tawakkul (religious devotion) help reduce negative thoughts, improve emotional regulation, and foster inner peace. Thus, tazkiyatun nafs (self-care) has the potential to be an effective Islamic counseling approach to reducing anxiety and supporting more balanced mental and spiritual health.

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a relevant learning model that addresses the demands of 21st-century education, emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of PBL implementation in elementary schools through a meta-synthesis approach to various research findings addressing critical thinking, problem-solving, self-regulated learning, and technology integration. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a literature review of journal articles obtained from various scientific sources. The synthesis results indicate that PBL significantly improves critical thinking skills through analysis, evaluation, argumentation, and evidence-based decision-making. Furthermore, PBL effectively develops problem-solving skills through investigation and contextual problem-solving. The implementation of PBL also contributes to improved self-regulated learning by encouraging students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their learning process independently. The integration of technology, such as interactive videos and digital learning platforms, further strengthens student engagement and supports the development of 21st-century skills. However, PBL implementation still faces challenges such as teacher preparedness, limited technological facilities, and heterogeneity in student abilities. Overall, PBL has proven effective in building an active, collaborative, reflective, and student-centered learning ecosystem to support the transformation of elementary school education.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, including the implementation of educational entrepreneurship. This article aims to examine the role of digital technology in supporting educational entrepreneurship in the digital era and identify opportunities, challenges, and implementation strategies. The study employed a library research method, reviewing various journal articles, books, and relevant scientific sources. The results indicate that digital technology plays a role in expanding access to entrepreneurship learning, encouraging creativity and innovation, developing a generation of technopreneurs, expanding collaborative networks, and providing more contextual entrepreneurial practical experiences. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, such as gaps in technology access, low digital literacy, high digital business competition, the need for curriculum adaptation, and data security risks. Therefore, an integrated strategy is needed through strengthening the entrepreneurship curriculum, utilizing digital media, project-based learning, and collaboration with the business world. With proper management, digital technology can be a strategic tool in developing a creative, innovative, independent, and competitive generation in the digital era.
