Abstract

Post-treatment care and ongoing care plans for breast cancer sufferers can reduce the quality of life. Breast cancer patients who are hospitalized have negative factors, such as being away from their family and loved ones, unfamiliar hospital environment, getting diagnosis and treatment that is difficult so that the patient feels afraid of every procedure that will be given to him and makes quality his life was getting low. This study aims to identify the domains of quality of life in breast cancer sufferers. This research uses descriptive research with the sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling. The number of samples is 44 respondents in the age range 24-68 years. This research uses descriptive research using the WHO QoL BREF instrument. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained data that the physical health of breast cancer patients (79.5%) had very poor - moderate physical health categories. The psychological domain shows 66% are in good category. The domain of social relations shows 70.4% are in the medium-bad category. The Environmental Domain shows 63.6% have the environmental domain in the good-very good category. The physical health domain has the lowest score compared to other quality of life domains

Abstract

Elderly is an age that has a greater likelihood of experiencing autoimmune, this is based on the statement that the older you get or the older you are, the more likely you are to experience autoimmune. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune and immune system disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints. This research purposed to describe the knowledge of the elderly about Rheumatoid arthritis in the Barusjahe Health Center Work Area, Karo Regency in 2021. This research uses descriptive research with the sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling. The number of respondents are 72 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire on the level of knowledge about Rheumatoid Arthritis with 25 questions. The results of this study are most of the knowledge level of the elderly about Rheumatoid Arhritis obtained in the category of sufficient knowledge level of 47.2%, 27.8% less, and 25% good. The conclusion is that the level of knowledge of the elderly about Rheumatoid Arthritis at the Barusjahe Health Center in 2021 is mostly good enough, it is hoped that health cadres can provide further information about rheumatoid arthritis so that they can increase the knowledge of the elderly to be good and improve the health status of the elderly

Abstract

Knowledge The right first treatment that mothers can do when their child has a febrile seizure is to stay calm and don't panic, try to lower the child's bodytemperature, position the child correctly, namely the child's head is tilted, placed in a flat place, away from objects or actions that can injure children.. Fever seizures are seizures that occur when the body temperature rises (rectal temperature above 38°C) caused by extracranial processes. Febrile seizures are seizures that occur when the body temperature rises (rectal temperature above 38°C) caused by extracranial processes. The prevalence of febrile seizures in children under 5 years of age occurs every year in America, nearly 1.5 million people. The incidence of febrile seizures varies in different countries. The annual incidence of febrile seizures is 2-4% in Western Europe and America, 5-10% in India and 8.8% in Japan. Simple febrile seizures are 80% of all febrile seizures. Emergency in toddlers with febrile seizures at the Rami Pematangsiantar Health Center in 2021. Descriptive research that results from the study obtained good knowledge of 10 people (22.2%) and at most 22 people (48.9%) and less than 13 people (28.9). %). Another thing is because of the lack of information, health education only focuses on household matters without knowing how to maintain the health and safety of children.

Abstract

The elderly are often at risk of developing hypertension. This is because in the elderly they experience a decrease in the elasticity of the aortic wall, thickening of the heart valves, and a decreased ability to pump the heart. Thus, family support is needed by the elderly during the treatment period. The research purpose to determine the family support in the care of the elderly with hypertension in Penen Village, Sibiru–Biru District in 2022. The study used a descriptive method with a total sampling of 49 elderly respondents who had pre-hypertension and above (pre-hypertension, stage I, stage II). The results obtained description of family support based on good pre-hypertension are 14 respondents (93.3%) and 1 respondent in sufficient category (6.7%), family support based on stage I hypertension is good category 21 respondents (91.3% ) and sufficient category 2 respondents (8.7%), family support based on hypertension stage II in good category 2 respondents (18.2%), sufficient 8 respondents (72.2%) and less 1 respondent (9 ,1%). The conclusions from the research are mostly good family support. It is hoped that the family can provide more optimal support for the elderly to minimize and prevent complications of hypertension that occur in the elderly
