Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) serve as legal protection for the creative and innovative rights held by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, awareness and understanding of the importance of IPR registration remain low among MSMEs, who perceive the process as complex and challenging. The aim of this activity is to provide better understanding to MSMEs in Batam regarding the importance of IPR in safeguarding their products and enhancing their skills in using IPR registration applications provided by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The community engagement approach is utilized in this research. Socialization on the importance of IPR for MSMEs is conducted, along with direct assistance in the IPR registration process, particularly for product trademarks, through applications provided by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. This activity demonstrates an improvement in understanding and skills among MSMEs in Batam regarding IPR. Training participants experience enhanced comprehension of IPR registration mechanisms and are able to confidently use relevant applications. Through community engagement, it can be concluded that socialization and direct assistance in IPR registration can help raise awareness and skills among MSMEs in protecting their intellectual property rights. These measures are crucial to ensure adequate protection of innovation and creativity at the MSME level, which in turn can support economic growth and sustainable development.

Abstract

Online motorcycle taxi services have become a trending topic as they are considered an innovative solution to enhance the efficiency of traditional motorcycle taxis. Many province in Bengkulu Regency face difficulties in finding reliable transportation services for delivery purposes due to the unavailability of online motorcycle taxi services like Gojek, Grab, or Maxim, which are common in larger cities. This research aims to design the Bengkulu Online Motorcycle Taxi (BLOON) application for Android using the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology. OOAD is an analytical approach that evaluates requirements from the perspective of classes and objects within the problem's domain, surpassing traditional software architecture through the manipulation of system or subsystem objects. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) model is employed in this research. Through thorough analysis, design, testing, and implementation, the Bengkulu Online Motorcycle Taxi application demonstrates successful operation in line with the research objectives and plans. The application of the OOAD methodology proves effective in developing structured applications.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat berpengaruh positif terhadap sektor pariwisata, khususnya di Kota Solok. Pemanfaatan sistem informasi berbasis teknologi dapat mempermudah wisatawan dalam mencari informasi tentang jalur perjalanan, termasuk jarak dan rute yang akan ditempuh. Aplikasi yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi lengkap mengenai pariwisata di Kota Solok, termasuk rute, jarak tempuh, dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan. Dengan menggunakan algoritma ini, solusi optimal dapat ditemukan. Algoritma Best First Search memilih jalur terbaik menuju tujuan dengan cara mengevaluasi setiap node menggunakan fungsi evaluasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Pada penelitian ini terdapat 10 tempat rekreasi yang akan dikunjungi dengan ketentuan mencari jalur yang terpendek atau yang terkecil tanpa harus membuang waktu agar tidak menempuh jalan yang berulang. Terdapat 45 Kombinasi nilai yang akan dituju. Jarak dan rute masing masing bisa dilihat dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini dapat mengemat waktu dan jarak saat melakukan pariwisata di kota Solok. Algoritma BFS dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengevaluasi node berdasarkan fungsi heuristik, yang memungkinkan pencarian jalur terbaik secara efisien. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memberikan informasi lengkap tentang lokasi wisata, fasilitas, dan estimasi waktu tempuh antar lokasi. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga memberikan rekomendasi rute perjalanan yang optimal sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan algoritma BFS dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian rute wisata dan memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, serta meningkatkan pengalaman wisatawan dalam merencanakan perjalanan.

Abstract

As time progresses, especially in terms of technology, there are more and more benefits that can be obtained if we can keep up. Currently, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process has also changed. The world of education was then forced to change direction to change the way of learning based on face-to-face encounters to online learning. If previously you were used to providing material through books, now teaching materials are provided via online media, which can be in the form of e-books, digital classes, or learning videos. Currently, learning media is developing very rapidly, previously using textbooks, teaching in class and now using online media. The use of online media in learning can be in the form of audio and video learning which students can access anywhere and anytime, regardless of time. Technological advances in the world of education must be balanced with the quality of teachers regarding understanding and expertise in using technology so that students do not become monotonous in learning with the online system. Learning videos are media that can be used to support the smooth learning process, one application that can be used is Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) studio. Some of the features of this application are recording. Apart from that, the application can be used for streaming by having scene, visual and audio features that can be created with the creativity of each teacher. With video learning media, students are able to achieve abilities in the cognitive, affective, psychomotor domains and can improve interpersonal skills.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is one of the strategic efforts to encourage local and national economic growth. However, low technological literacy and data analytical capabilities are the main obstacles for MSMEs in facing competition in the digital era. To answer these challenges, MNC University, in collaboration with the SHARP Class Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from PT SHARP Electronics Indonesia, as well as Boedi Luhur Bekasi Vocational School, is implementing a technology-based community service program. This program focuses on providing data analytics skills to vocational school students as young people who have the potential to support MSMEs in their surrounding environment. This activity includes intensive training on data processing using computer science-based tools and methods, designed to improve students' ability to understand, analyze and apply data in making business decisions. A collaborative approach involving academics, industry practitioners and vocational educators ensures that the material presented is relevant to the needs of industry and MSMEs. The results of this program show a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills in data analytics, as well as the real contribution of Boedi Luhur Vocational School students in supporting the development of local MSMEs. This study provides empirical evidence that synergy between educational institutions, industry and vocational schools can be a model of sustainability in developing technology-based human resource capacity.

Abstract

A puzzle is an arrangement of numbers consisting of nine squares that are neatly arranged in a sequence of numbers 1 to number 8. Puzzle games are interesting, fun games and improve cognitive abilities, how to think quickly and are able to develop children's brains to increase their grasping power in solving a problem. . The problem that occurs in this study is the lack of children's ability to solve the logic of compiling puzzles, so make rules and steps to quickly complete this game. The main purpose of this research is to help children improve their thinking patterns so they can arrange numbers 1 to 8 with fast time and solutions. The method used is the Best First Search algorithm in finding the Final Goal quickly and easily. The final result of this research, after several stages of eating, the final result is that the puzzle sequence has fulfilled the final goal according to the initial data. The basic concept of solving the Best First Search Algorithm must follow the rules that have been set by running the process in accordance with existing procedures. If in the search process an unsuitable arrangement is found, then proceed with the next search until it finds the correct position in the form of a sequence of numbers 1 to 8. If it is found, the search algorithm is stopped

Abstract

Attendance record is very important because it can measure the level of someone’s dicipline. Any formal environments definitely use this method to monitor attendance. There are various methods of doing attendance, such as by biometric systems (fingerprint) or through by system. At the beginning, PT BPR Dana Makmur employee’s do attendance with a fingerprint machine. However the presence of coronavirus (Covid-19) caused changes of the attendance method in PT BPR Dana Makmur because the virus can be transmitted through fingerprint. From this problem, researchers tried to develop a web-based presence system to replace fingerprint methods. This application is expected to minimize the spread of the virus at PT BPR Dana Makmur or other company environtment.

Abstract

Weather is part of carrying out an activity and affects several fields, such as determining crops in agriculture and aviation on departure in an airplane. Android is an operating system that can be used and is open source code, android can develop and modify easily. The Meteorogy, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is tasked with monitoring the weather that predicts the weather using two methods, namely conventional methods and statistical methods which can cover a radius of 5-10 km on land and 50 km at sea for observations in a predicted area. The problem in this study is that the weather diagnosis requires a complex database, so a method for accurate weather diagnosis is needed and weather diagnosis information is very difficult to obtain. Forward chaining is a technique that starts the search for data and facts, and the data is used as a conclusion to become a solution. So the forward chaining method can help make diagnoses related to the weather. The purpose of diagnosing weather changes is to be able to help the special community in the Riau Islands to help plan activities. Researchers are designed to be able to assist the surrounding community in obtaining weather diagnosis information by providing complete information and accurate results but carried out efficiently.
