Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of E-Human Resource Management (E-HRM) had on Batam’s F&B productivity. Research methodology: A total of 395 respondents were included in the study. Four populations were used in this study, namely Starbucks, McDonalds, Mixue, and KFC, located in Batam City, Riau Islands, Brazil. The obtained data were processed using the PLS SEM application. Results: The results suggest that the implementation of E-HRM has a significant positive impact on employee productivity in the F&B companies studied. Limitations: There are many limitations when conducting this study due to difficulties in collecting data, information, and respondents at KFC, Mixue, Starbucks, and McDonalds. This causes this research to be suboptimal because the company maintains its data privacy. Therefore, this study only obtained respondent data internally. Then, with limited time, the time to distribute questionnaires to respondents was very short. Contribution: This research provides a deep understanding of the importance of implementing E-HRM (E-Job Analysis, E-Training & Development, E-Performance Appraisal, E-Recruitment, and E-Communication) in increasing employee productivity in F&B companies in Batam City. The results show that e-HRM has a positive impact on Behavioral Intention, which contributes to increased employee productivity.

Abstract

Kebijakan suatu perusahaan maupun industri sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi dan pendapatan. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk membantu meningkatkan penjualan mitra. Dengan menyebarkan brosur online, untuk meningkatkan informasi masyarakat tentang mitra, dan menggunakan media online untuk memasarkan produk mitra. Dengan mengimplementasi beberapa startegi yang dianalisa oleh penulis, dapat disimpulkan manfaat yang akan dicapai dalam proyek ini adalah Membantu meningkatkan penjualan pada mitra dan Membantu mitra untuk mengetahui pentingnya promosi melalui media online.

Abstract

Toko Purti Utama Second Brand merupakan usaha kecil yang menjual berbagai barang bekas khususnya pakaian atau produk yang sebelumnya sudah pernah dipakai kemudian dijual kembali dengan harga yang terjangkau. Pengevaluasian kinerja karyawan pada kegiatan implementasi ini bertujuan agar Putri Utama Second Brand dapat meningkatkan visibilitas toko di platform digital, meningkatan penjualan dan memperluas jangkauan pasar serta mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang lebih modern dan terkini. Dalam mencapai kinerja peningkatan secara keseluruhan diperlukan upaya yang terstruktur untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan operasional seperti promosi dan layanan pelanggan, guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing toko Putri Utama Second Brand. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggali pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kinerja yang terstruktur untuk mengidentifikasi kemajuan operasional. Data yang digunakan diperoleh melalui observasi atau pengamatan langsung serta dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam yang mana data yang dibutuhkan meliputi identitas dan informasi umum perusahaan yang didapatkan melalui wawancara dengan pihak mitra, maupun informasi terkait penjualan produknya kepada pemilik Toko Putri Utama Second Brand. Hasil setelah implementasi mengindikasikan terjadinya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam berbagai aspek operasional, terutama dalam hal pemasaran dan penjualan. Peningkatan jumlah pengikut di media sosial, jumlah interaksi dengan pelanggan, serta meningkatnya jumlah transaksi di platform digital menunjukkan bahwa pengevaluasian kinerja karyawan yang diterapkan dilakukan dengan sangat baik

Abstract

Background – The high turnover among Gen-Z and millennials is influenced by a lack of work motivation, job dissatisfaction, an inharmonious work environment, and ineffective leadership. As a result, Gen-Z work behavior becomes inconsistent, which can have a negative influence on company performance. Therefore, it is important to emphasize job satisfaction and effective leadership to increase employee retention. So, employees can form positive and consistent work behaviors so that employees can effectively increase work productivity to achieve overall organizational success. Aim – This research seeks to explore how Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Leadership, and Work Environment affect the performance of Gen-Z employees. It specifically examines the role of Work Behavior as a mediator that links these factors to Employee Performance. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling. Data were collected via a Google Forms questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS statistics.. Results and Discussion – The results of the study show that Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, and Leadership significantly affect Employee Performance, both directly and through Work Behavior. In contrast, the Work Environment is insignificant, highlighting Gen Z's preference for intrinsic values and leadership over physical elements. Work Behavior mediates the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Leadership and performance, but not for Work Motivation and Work Environment. This research emphasizes the importance of job satisfaction, effective leadership, and value-based motivation to encourage positive work behaviors and increase productivity. Research Implications – This research highlights the importance of job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and value-based motivation to improve Gen Z's work behavior and performance. Limitations – The limitations of this study include a limited of respondents, namely employees in the electronics manufacturing sector in Batam City. In addition, the measurement of work behavior variables is only carried out in certain aspects.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKinerja karyawan sangat menentukan tingkat keberhasilan tercapainya tujuan Perusahaan. Kinerja karyawan yang buruk akan berdampak negatif pada operasional perusahaan. Sehingga Perusahaan mesti memperhatikan faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel kompetensi, kompensasi, motivasi, leadership, lingkungan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh variabel lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja, serta pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Responden dari penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak 420 responden yang merupakan karyawan yang bekerja dibidang manufaktur di Kota Batam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan responden melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui Google Form. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 420 sampel. Metode untuk mengolah data adalah memanfaatkan software SmartPLS 3 dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel kompetensi, leadership, linkungan kerja, serta kepuasan kerja dan variabel lingkungan kerja yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Variabel lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Akan tetapi, untuk variabel kompensasi dan motivasi terbukti bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata Kunci: Manufaktur; Kinerja Karyawan; Kepuasan KerjaABSTRACTEmployee performance greatly determines the level of success in achieving the Company's goals. Poor employee performance will have a negative impact on company operations. Companies must pay attention to factors that influence employee performance. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of competency, compensation, motivation, leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction variables on employee performance, the influence of work environment variables on employee performance which is mediated by job satisfaction, and the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction will be analyzed. Respondents from this research were 420 respondents who were employees working in the manufacturing sector in Batam City. The number of samples used was 420 samples. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative research with respondent collection techniques using questionnaires distributed via Google Form. The method for processing data is to utilize SmartPLS 3 software with research results showing that the variables of competence, leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction and work environment variables mediated by job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance, Work environment variables have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. However, for the compensation and motivation variables it was proven that there was no significant influence on employee performance.Keywords: Manufacturing; Employee Performance; Job Satisfaction

Abstract

The research was designed to analyze how training, compensation, work environment, and motivation affect employee job satisfaction and performance, with a particular focus on understanding both direct and indirect effects. The object of this study is a four-star hotel in Batam City, and the sample consisted of 320 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, and the analysis was conducted using the Smart PLS application. The results of the study indicate that compensation significantly influences employee job satisfaction and performance, while training, work environment, and motivation also play crucial roles in enhancing overall employee effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Training, Work Motivation, Work Discipline, and Workload on Employee Performance Competence. The research sample includes 301 respondents who are employees in logistics companies in Batam City, using a quantitative research method. The measurement tool used in this study is Smart PLS. The results show that Training, Competence, Work Discipline, and Workload have a significant influence on employee performance. However, the influence of employee performance mediated by competence shows varied results. Training and Work Discipline mediated by competence have a significant relationship with employee performance, while Work Motivation is not significant. This provides important insights into the factors affecting the performance of logistics companies post-COVID-19 pandemic and provides a basis for the development of effective management strategies to address the challenges faced by this industry.

Abstract

The use of "Electronic Human Resource Management" (E-HRM) helps companies become more efficient as a result of the fierce competition among them to recruit and retain professional staff. However, it was found that there was an issue that the adoption of this system was not uniform in various companies, which caused a gap in the effectiveness of its use. This study aims to analyze the relationship between antecedents, behavioral intentions, E-HRM use, and E-HRM effectiveness. The research method implemented was in the form of a qualitative method, by raising the population in the form of all HR who have used E-HRM in a company located in Batam City, by sampling through purposive sampling, to obtain a sample of 280. The results of the study highlight the importance of fostering an organizational environment that supports and ensures employee readiness to optimize E-HRM results. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that performance expectancy and effort expectancy have a significant positive effect on behavioral intention. Performance expectancy had a significant positive effect on E-HRM usage, but effort expectancy could not show a significant effect on E-HRM Usage. Directly, E-HRM Efficacy Level is influenced by variables such as Performance expectancy, behavioral intention, and E-HRM usage, but cannot be directly influenced by Effort Expectancy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem penilaian kinerja karyawan berbasis Graphic Rating Scale di Mr.B Coffee guna mengatasi permasalahan operasional, seperti tingginya tingkat turnover karyawan, komunikasi yang tidak efektif, dan kebersihan area kerja yang tidak konsisten. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner untuk memahami kebutuhan manajemen dan persepsi karyawan. Sistem ini dirancang dengan indikator penilaian yang mencakup aspek komunikasi, kebersihan, kepatuhan SOP, efisiensi, dan inisiatif kerja. Formulir penilaian dibuat dalam format Google Form untuk memudahkan implementasi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman kinerja, efektivitas evaluasi, serta identifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan karyawan di empat posisi: kasir, barista, koki, dan staf kebersihan. Selain itu, penerapan sistem ini membantu manajemen memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif, meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, dan mengurangi turnover. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan operasional Mr.B Coffee serta kontribusi teoritis sebagai studi kasus dalam manajemen kinerja di industri kopi.

Abstract

The study examines the influence of Talent Management, knowledge management, career development, motivation, and competence on employee performance. The object of this research is an employee at a bank in Batam City. The data used was primary data and using Google Forms and collected as many as 233 respondents through the dissemination of questionnaires. The application of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) is used as a test tool and the results of research show that talent management and knowledge management have significant and acceptable bets, while on motivation, career development, and competence have insignificant or unacceptable results after the test. This research recommends that this study be developed with the added variables and is expected to support the improvement of employee performance in order to create more potential human resources to create corporate competitiveness.
