Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM), kecil dan menengah menjadi salah satu sektor yang memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian suatu wilayah, termasuk kota Bondowoso. Sehingga pemerintah Kota Bondowoso melalui Dinas Koperasi, Perindustrian, dan Perdagangan sebagai pelaksana teknis melakukan upaya pemberdayaan terhadap Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah, kecil dan menengah guna mengembangkan Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah, kecil dan menengah. Faktor utama penelitian ini ialah mengetahui strategi apa saja yang digunakan oleh Diskoperindag Kabupaten Bondowoso dalam pemberdayaan Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah Kecil Menengah menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif mengacu pada hasil wawancara, observasi dan juga dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, strategi pemberdayaan Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah, kecil dan menengah yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Koperasi, Perindustrian, dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Bondowoso meliputi kemitraan, fasilitasi, pendampingan serta sosialisasi. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pemberdayaan Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah, kecil dan menengah dalam mengembangkan suatu usaha dan diharapkan dapat memberi pengetahuan berharga bagi pemerintah serta para pelaku usaha dalam pemberdayaan usaha di Kabupaten Bondowoso

Abstract

Purpose: This research explores coffee production strategies at Jember Kahyangan Plantation Regional Public Company, focusing on optimizing productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Method: A qualitative approach was used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that Perumda Perkebunan Kahyangan Jember produces robusta coffee with meticulous processing to ensure quality. Practical Application: Coffee is one of the agricultural commodities that is quite tempting to develop, seeing the market potential reaching overseas so that in its development, coffee is experiencing modernization. Coffee production in Indonesia always increases every year. Indonesia is the world's fourth exporter of coffee commodities with an average role of 4.76 percent of total world exports. The Jember Kahyangan Plantation Regional Public Company is one of the companies engaged in processing coffee production. Conclusion: A production strategy is a detailed plan designed to organize and manage a company's production processes to achieve predetermined goals, including efficiency, product quality and customer satisfaction. The definition above shows that a company needs a strategy so that the company does not go bankrupt.

Abstract

The primary aim of the research paper are (1) The integrated marketing communication model increase the number of customers at the Baitul Maal Wal Tamwil Integrated Joint Enterprises Sidogiri Melaya Bali branch office, (2) The challenges of implementing the integrated marketing communication model to customers, (3) Face the challenges of implementing an integrated marketing model to customers at branch office Malaya Bali. This research approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative approach, with data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. Practical Applications (1) The integrated marketing communication model can ensure that the messages conveyed by various communication channels, such as advertising, direct marketing and social media, are social and mutually supportive, thereby increasing consumer awareness and trust in brands and products. (2) Challenges from demographics and psychographics among consumers can cause messages that are ineffective or irrelevant, so many customers may not understand the principles of sharia finance and its benefits. Effective and inclusive education needs to be prepared to explain concepts such as profit sharing, usury free, and fairness in transactions. (3) Choose the right communication channel based on your goals and target audience. An integrated marketing communications model can ensure that messages conveyed by various communication channels, such as advertising, direct marketing and social media, are social and mutually supportive, thereby increasing consumer awareness and trust in brands and products.

Abstract

Purpose: This research paper aims to assess the compliance of the Regional Secretariat of Jember Regency with the Ministry of Finance Regulation 59/PMK.03/2022 on calculating, collecting, depositing, and reporting taxes on purchased goods, focusing on the implementation of Income Tax Article 22.Method: The study uses Action Research with qualitative methods, gathering data through observations and interviews with staff in the General Affairs Section to evaluate their tax practices.Practical Applications: Findings indicate effective calculation and collection of Income Tax Article 22 but highlight a need for clearer regulations regarding reporting Income Tax Returns (SPT). These insights can enhance tax compliance and improve public service delivery in local governance.Conclusion: The study confirms that the General Affairs Section complies with the Ministry of Finance Regulation in calculating and collecting Income Tax Article 22. However, it identifies a regulatory gap in SPT reporting, contributing to a broader understanding of local tax compliance issues.

Abstract

Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Bondowoso merupakan bagian integral dari upaya pemerintah daerah dalam menangani masalah sampah. Retribusi sampah ini diatur dalam peraturan yang mengatur tata cara perhitungan tarif retribusi dalam penyelenggaraan penanganan sampah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara observasi, serta pengambilan data primer dan sekunder. Target pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah untuk biaya yang dikenakan kepada masyarakat atau pengguna jasa pengelolaan sampah sebagai bentuk kontribusi dalam pembiayaan pengelolaan sampah di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Bondowoso.

Abstract

Optimalisasi sistem informasi ketersediaan perkembangan harga bahan pokok sebagai media informasi 9 bahan pokok di Bondowoso merupakan upaya penting dalam memastikan ketersediaan dan stabilitas harga barang kebutuhan pokok di wilayah tersebut. Berbagai penelitian dan kebijakan telah menyoroti pentingnya koordinasi, pemantauan, dan analisis informasi harga serta stok barang kebutuhan pokok untuk mendukung pembangunan daerah. Peran pemerintah dalam optimalisasi industri tape sebagai sektor unggulan di Bondowoso juga menjadi fokus dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama petani ubi kayu. Dukungan layanan teknis dan administrasi yang berkualitas serta strategi untuk stabilisasi harga dan ketersediaan barang kebutuhan pokok menjadi aspek penting dalam mencapai tujuan peningkatan konsumsi nasional dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

Kemiskinan di Jawa Timur, termasuk di Kabupaten Jember, tetap menjadi tantangan besar yang kompleks dan multidimensional. Persentase penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Jember meningkat sebesar 0,12 persen poin dalam satu tahun, dari 9,39 persen pada Maret 2022 menjadi 9,51 persen pada Maret 2023. Dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan, data yang akurat sangatlah penting untuk merancang dan melaksanakan kebijakan yang efektif. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi peran BPS dalam menyediakan data yang tepat dan relevan tentang kemiskinan di tingkat lokal, menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dengan data sekunder dari publikasi BPS tahun 2023, seperti garis kemiskinan, presentase penduduk miskin, indeks kedalaman, dan keparahan kemiskinan. Analisis menunjukkan kenaikan garis kemiskinan dan penurunan persentase, indeks kedalaman, serta keparahan kemiskinan dari 2010 hingga 2023. Jurnal ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai dinamika kemiskinan di Jember pada tahun 2023, diharapkan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pemerintah dan pemangku kebijakan setempat untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pemantauan dan penanganan kemiskinan di daerah tersebut.

Abstract

Purpose: The e-PBB (Land and Building Tax) application in Banyuwangi aims to increase ease and efficiency in the tax payment process for public, as well as increase awareness of tax obligations Method: This Community Service uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through surveys and interviews with e-PBB application users. Data analysis is carried out to provide user experience and the effectiveness of the application in facilitating tax payments. Practical Applications: The e-PBB application allows taxpayers to make online payments, check bills, and get tax-related information easily. This not only reduces queues at the tax office, but also increases transparancey in local tax management. Conclusion: The research results show that the e-PBB application in Banyuwangi has succeeded in increasing tax compliance and facilitating access to information for the public. By implementing this technology, it is hoped that it can encourage active community participation in fulfilling tax obligations, as well as supporting an increase in local original income (PAD) for better development.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the development of the tourism sector in Jember Regency through a Sharia economic perspective, addressing the challenges hindering optimal growth despite the region's rich potential in religious, cultural, and natural tourism. The research identifies key issues in current tourism management and explores how Islamic economic principles can contribute to sustainable and inclusive development. The significance lies in integrating Sharia-compliant strategies into regional tourism planning, offering an alternative model for economic empowerment in predominantly Muslim regions. Method: A qualitative descriptive approach is employed, supported by SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to evaluate internal and external factors affecting tourism development in Jember Regency. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with local stakeholders, and document reviews. The analytical framework integrates Sharia economic principles with strategic planning tools to assess viable pathways for halal tourism development. Practical Applications: The findings provide actionable strategies for policymakers and local communities, including the promotion of halal tourism, empowerment of Sharia-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), improvement of tourism infrastructure, digitalization of promotional efforts, and utilization of Sharia finance for investment. These measures are expected to enhance tourism competitiveness while fostering inclusive economic growth aligned with Islamic values. Conclusion: The study concludes that integrating Sharia economic principles into tourism development offers a sustainable and ethically grounded approach to regional progress in Jember Regency. By leveraging its unique potentials through halal tourism and Islamic financial mechanisms, the region can achieve not only economic resilience but also social inclusivity, contributing to a broader understanding of faith-based sustainable development in Indonesia’s local economies.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the strategic development of the production system within the Food Plant section at PT. Benih Citra Asia, a leading agricultural seed company in Indonesia. The research aims to identify and analyze current operational inefficiencies and to propose a sustainable, productivity-oriented development strategy aligned with modern agribusiness practices. Method: Employing a qualitative-descriptive method supported by SWOT analysis and the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach, the study evaluates internal capabilities, external challenges, and the alignment of technological integration with production workflows. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key management personnel, direct field observations, and document analysis. Practical Applications: The findings reveal several bottlenecks in seed processing, quality control, and inventory management, primarily stemming from outdated machinery, inconsistent labor skills, and suboptimal layout design. The proposed strategy emphasizes lean production principles, digital monitoring systems, and capacity-building programs to enhance operational efficiency and output quality. This strategic model is expected to significantly improve production scalability, reduce waste, and strengthen PT. Benih Citra Asia’s competitive advantage in the national and regional seed markets. Conclusion: The study contributes to the literature on agribusiness management by offering a contextualized framework for developing production systems in Indonesia's agricultural sector.
