Abstract

The development of digital technology is encouraging companies to adopt marketing strategies that are not solely profit-oriented but also consider environmental sustainability. One emerging approach is green marketing, integrated into digital marketing management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of green marketing in digital marketing management and identify strategies, challenges, and their impact on brand image and consumer trust. The research method used was a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results show that the implementation of green marketing in digital marketing management has a positive impact on brand image formation and increased consumer trust. The implementation of a digital marketing strategy that integrates environmentally friendly products, sustainable pricing, green distribution, and educational content-based promotions can increase consumer awareness of the value of sustainability. However, the effectiveness of green marketing implementation is still affected by several obstacles, such as high costs, the risk of greenwashing, and differences in consumer awareness of environmental issues. Therefore, a consistent, transparent, and integrated strategy is needed for optimal implementation of green marketing in digital marketing.

Abstract

Increasingly complex organizational competition demands the implementation of management strategies that focus not only on operational aspects but also on strategic human resource (HR) management. HR is a crucial asset that determines organizational performance and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the application of HR-based strategic management in enhancing organizational competitiveness, with a focus on recruitment and selection practices, training and development, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee welfare, innovation, and work flexibility. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants, observations of organizational activities, and documentation studies related to HR policies. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, using source triangulation to enhance data validity. The results indicate that effective HR-oriented strategic management, including strategic alignment, skills development, performance management, fair compensation and reward systems, and attention to employee welfare, can increase employee motivation, engagement, and productivity. A work environment that supports innovation, flexibility, and continuous learning also plays a crucial role in strengthening organizational competitiveness.

Abstract

Digital transformation of banking through the adoption of cutting-edge technology offers high efficiency, but on the other hand, it triggers the emergence of regulatory asymmetry (regulatory lag) and various new risk variants. This study aims to identify the dominant legal risk typologies in the era of banking digitalization and evaluate the readiness of the regulatory framework and effective legal risk mitigation mechanisms. The research method used is normative juridical with a descriptive-analytical approach to examine primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials through literature review, which are then analyzed qualitatively using deductive reasoning. The results indicate three main legal risk typologies: violations of personal data protection due to data breaches, escalation of cybercrime such as phishing and ransomware that trigger disputes over unauthorized transactions, and legal uncertainty regarding the validity of electronic contracts (e-contracts) and the reliability of digital evidence in court. This study concludes that banks can no longer rely on unilateral exoneration clauses that harm consumers. Legal mitigation efforts must be implemented holistically by strengthening internationally standardized information technology governance (ISO 27001), strengthening e-KYC systems, implementing standard digital forensics audit logs, and utilizing cyber insurance. Meanwhile, regulatory authorities are required to shift their policy approach to principle-based, adaptive regulation to create a secure, trustworthy, and legally certain digital banking ecosystem.

Abstract

The batik industry represents an important component of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and regional economy. However, increasing digital disruption requires batik small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to strengthen their ability to reach customers, develop products, and respond to changing market conditions. This study examines the effect of digital marketing capabilities on business performance by investigating the mediating roles of ambidextrous innovation and market capitalization agility. Survey data were collected from 223 batik SMEs in Central Java and analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings show that digital marketing capabilities significantly enhance exploitative innovation and market capitalization agility. These capabilities function as important mechanisms through which digital marketing contributes to improved business performance. In contrast, digital marketing capabilities do not have a significant direct effect on business performance, indicating that digital adoption alone is insufficient to generate superior outcomes. Performance improvements depend on firms’ ability to translate digital marketing capabilities into innovation activities and agile market responses. This study contributes to the strategic fit and dynamic capabilities perspectives by integrating digital marketing capabilities, ambidextrous innovation, and market agility within a unified framework. Practically, batik SMEs should align digital marketing initiatives with continuous product refinement, commercialization, and rapid adaptation to market changes. The findings provide insights for strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of heritage-based SMEs in the digital era.
