Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and find out the impact of the principal's transactional leadership style on the learning motivation of scale participants at SDN 2 Tilung, Parigi Moutong Regency. Although learning motivation is a major factor influencing student learning motivation, transactional leadership emphasizes the reciprocal interaction between leaders and subordinates through incentive and monitoring systems. Surveys were used in the quantitative methodology of this study to collect data. Forty-five students of SDN 2 Tilung, Parigi Moutong Regency, became a sample. Data analysis, including descriptive analysis, classical assembly testing, and hypothesis testing, was performed using SPSS software version 26. The researchers used a t-test to determine whether principals' transactional leadership had an effect on students' learning motivation. The results showed a significance value of 0.001, which < 0.05.  By obtaining the consistency of variable Y of 15.710 and the regression coefficient of X of 0.523, this study also used a linear regression analysis test to determine the extent to which the principal's transactional leadership had a positive relationship with student learning motivation. The results showed that students' enthusiasm for learning was positively and significantly influenced by the principal's transactional leadership by 21.6%. These results show that students' enthusiasm for learning is positively and significantly influenced by the principal's transactional leadership

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of student management on student discipline at SD Inpres Masigi, Parigi Moutong Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto survey design. The population consisted of 75 students from grades IV, V, and VI, and all members of the population were selected as research samples using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability before being administered. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression, and coefficient of determination analysis using IBM SPSS. The findings revealed that student management was categorized as moderate, with 68% of respondents falling into the medium category, while student discipline was also in the moderate category, with 56% of respondents categorized as medium. The normality and linearity tests indicated that the data met the statistical assumptions required for regression analysis. The results of the simple linear regression test showed a significant positive effect of student management on student discipline, with the regression equation Y = 8.909 + 0.653X. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.441, indicating that student management contributed 44.1% to student discipline, while the remaining 55.9% was influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings emphasize the importance of structured and effective student management practices in fostering student discipline and creating a conducive learning environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership on teacher job satisfaction at MTs Negeri 3, Donggala. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consisted of 27 teachers, all of whom were selected as research participants using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Instrument validity and reliability were tested before conducting statistical analysis using SPSS 26. The analysis included descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and coefficient of determination tests. The results revealed that principal leadership had a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction, indicated by a significance value of 0.010 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.605. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.239, showing that principal leadership contributed 23.9% to teacher job satisfaction, while the remaining 76.1% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings indicate that effective leadership practices, including communication, motivation, supervision, and interpersonal support, play an important role in enhancing teachers’ job satisfaction. However, teacher job satisfaction is also affected by broader organizational factors such as work environment, professional development opportunities, welfare, organizational culture, and institutional support. Therefore, improving teacher job satisfaction requires a comprehensive approach that integrates leadership development with organizational improvement strategies within the madrasah context
