Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model brain based learning berbantuan brain gym terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, pengaruh motivasi belajar fisika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan interaksi antara model brain based learning berbantuan brain gym  dan motivasi belajar fisika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2x2. Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMAN 4 Mataram tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model brain based learning berbantuan brain gym sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data diambil menggunakan tes essay untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan angket untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar fisika peserta didik. Hasil tes akhir kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 61,6 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 52,4. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan uji anava dua jalan dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model brain based learning berbantuan brain gym terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik; terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar fisika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik; serta tidak terdapat interaksi antara model brain based learning berbantuan brain gym dan motivasi belajar fisika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: This research purposed to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning using kit of work and energy experiment tools toward mastery of student physics concepts. This is quasi experiment research with posttest-only control group design. The population of this research is all students of class X MS SMAN 1 Kediri. The sampling technique used is random sampling, so selected the students of class X MS 1 as experiment group and X MS 2 as control group. The experiment group was treated with guided inquiry learning using kit of work and energy experiment tools and the control group was treated with conventional learning. The instrument used to measure concept of mastery is a test instrument in the form of a multiple-choice test of 25 questions. The research hypothesis was tested used t-test at the significance level 5%. The result of t-test showed that there was an effect of guided inquiry learning using kit of work and energy experiment tools toward mastery of student physics concepts. Abstract

This research aimed to produce products in the form of a guided inquiry model learning device assisted by PhET simulation that is feasible, practical and effective to improve students' science process skills.  The products developed were syllabus, Lesson Plan (RPP), teaching materials, Student Worksheets (LKPD) and test instruments for science process skills. The materials used were work and energy. The research subjects were 30 students in even semester academic year 2021/2022. The Research and Development with a 4D development model developed by Thiangaraja (1974) consisting define, design, develop and disseminate applied in this research. Data collection techniques used were validation sheets, teacher and students’ response of questionnaires related to the implementation of learning, and test instruments for science process skills. The results of the analysis showed that the learning tools are valid. The average score is 76.65% in the valid category, 93.35% in the very valid and 93.80% is categorized as reliable category. Furthermore, the level of learning implementation assessed by teachers and students was 90.30% and 81.73% with a very practical category. The results of the N-gain test of students' process skills were 50.61% in the medium category and less effective. Thus, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model learning tool assisted by PhET simulation developed is feasible, practical and less effective for improving students' physics science process skills.

Abstract

This study is a quasi experimental study that aims to determine the effect of using direct instruction model with animation media to the academic achievement of physiscs in student class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Batu Layar. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Batu Layar that were 87 students. Whereas the students of class VIIIA which are 22 students as the experimental group and 22 students of class VIIIC as a control group. Sampling methode was random cluster sampling. The Research design using pre-test - post-test control group design. Based on Pre-test result, the average mark of class VIIIA and class VIIIC were 24.70 and 28.95, respectively. Post-test result gave the information that the average mark of class VIIIA and class VIIIC were 79.29 and 71.62 respectively. Research hypotesis was analyzed using polled varians t-test. It can be concluded that there was a different in physics academic achievement between experimental group and control group, where the experimental group using direct  instruction model with animation media as the treatment and the control group using direct instruction only. The academic achievement of experimental group were better than control group, it can be a reason to say that the treatment by using direct instruction model with animation media gave the positive effect to the academic achievement of physiscs in student class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Batu Layar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe group investigation  yang  layak  untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik kelas XI. Jenis penelitian yaitu Research and Development dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4D oleh Thiagarajan yang teridiri dari define, design, develop dan disseminate. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), bahan ajar, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) dan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas XI MIPA semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023 di SMAN 1 Sukamulia Lombok Timur dengan materi fluida dinamis. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi yang dinilai oleh 6 validator yang terdiri dari validator ahli yaitu 3 orang dosen pendidikan fisika dan validator praktisi yaitu 3 orang guru fisika. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitaif didapatkan dari lembar validasi, sedangkan data kualitatif didapatkan dari saran atau masukan yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam memperbaiki perangkat pembelajaran. Data hasil validitas menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran layak dengan kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata 86,12% dan reliabel dengan nilai persentase 94,22%. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe group investigation yang dikembangkan layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik kelas XI.

Abstract

Research and Development (R&D) research is included in this study using the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. The product developed student worksheetound waves. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, teacher learning implementation observation sheets, student response questionnaires and test instruments. This product was assessed for validity by three expert validators who are physics lecturers and three practitioner validators who are physics subject teachers. Its validity was obtained from the assessment results of expert and practitioner validators, which reached 91.67% and 94.70% respectively, indicating that the product was very valid. In addition, the reliability value also met the standard with an average of above 75%. Therefore, it can be said that this product is feasible to use. The practicality of this product was evaluated through observation sheets by teachers and questionnaires filled out by students related to the learning carried out. The assessment results show that this product is very practical, with the implementation sheet by the teacher reaching 94.56% and the response of students reaching 89.54%. In addition to validity and practicality, the effectiveness of this product was also assessed. The limited trial was conducted by measuring the increase in pretest and posttest scores using the N-Gain test. The analysis results show that this product is quite effective, with the acquisition of the N-Gain test for students' science literacy of 0.69, which is in the medium category. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that the sound waves student worksheetroduced is a feasible product, very practical, and quite effective in improving students' science literacy.
