Abstract

Economics is a social science that involves a study in order to determine choices and consider the things that need to be done in that election. Economics is included in the branch of social science that focuses on the use of scarce or limited resources to meet human needs. While humans have various needs and are endless or unlimited. Regarding the existing problems, economics can look at problems from two angles, namely micro and macro. Microeconomics studies various activities of economic units, such as individuals, both individual persons, individual companies, or other individuals.

Abstract

The market mechanism assumes that in behaving, everyone basically has personal desires and always seeks maximum satisfaction. Whereas equity reflects behavior that is less selfish and pays attention to the welfare of others. Health and illness also affect a person's ability to earn income. Government intervention on health services can be based on the principles of efficiency and equity. This can be attempted by improving the conditions needed for the market mechanism to function or limiting the effects that cause the market to not function.

Abstract

Health financing is one of the fields of science in health economics. What is meant by health costs is the amount of funds that must be provided by individuals, families, community groups. Sources of health costs can come from the government budget, community budgets, domestic and foreign assistance, as well as a combination of government and community budgets. In general, health costs can be divided into two, namely the cost of medical services and the cost of public health services. The main requirements for health financing are the amount, distribution and utilization. While the function of financing is to extract funds, multiply funds. The main problems in health financing include the lack of available funds, inappropriate distribution of funds, inappropriate use of funds, imperfect management of funds and increasing health costs. While the settlement efforts taken include increasing the amount of funds, improving the distribution, utilization and management of funds, as well as controlling health costs.

Abstract

Health Insurance is a type of insurance product that specifically guarantees the health or care costs of insurance members if they fall ill or have an accident. Managed care is a health service financing system that is structured based on the number of registered members with control starting from service planning and includes contracts with health service providers for comprehensive services.

Abstract

Economics and health are very closely related. Economic development greatly affects public health conditions, and improvements in public health conditions will affect work productivity. This article aims to look for economic linkages in health planning. This article is a research based on literature review using the library method. The results show that between health planning and economics there are similarities and linkages. Economic growth and development in a country will greatly affect the health status of its population and is closely related to the country's ability to develop health services and other activities in the health sector. Therefore, policy in the field of health and its implementation is also strongly influenced by macroeconomic considerations.

Abstract

Economic problems always attract great attention of individuals or society especially in health. Various ways have been done by the government to solve the problem. This article aims to explore economic evaluation on health counseling. This article is a research based on a literature review using the library method. The results show that the economic analysis of public health programs is generally identified by calculating the value of money. One of the limitations of economic analysis is that it does not take into account the value of the pain or suffering experienced in terms of money.

Abstract

Rate is one of the key elements that determines the sustainability of hospital management. Rational and proportional determination of rate will affect the quality of health services. This article aims to explore strategies for implementing hospital rates. This article is a research based on a literature review using the library method. The results show changes in the rates structure that comprehensively take into account unit cost, competitive position, ability to pay, willingness to pay, and strategic objectives, as well as the internal conditions of the hospital are very significant in helping to improve the financial structure of the hospital. Conversely, setting rates that only follow rates in other hospitals does not help hospitals improve their financial condition.
