Abstract

Digital social media environments have increasingly become informal spaces where entrepreneurs exchange experiences, operational reflections, and business survival strategies through peer interaction. However, previous studies have predominantly emphasized formal entrepreneurial education, institutional mentoring, or structured online communities, while organically emerging peer-to-peer entrepreneurial learning within public social media discussions remains underexplored. This study aims to examine how entrepreneurial learning is socially constructed among SME owners through interaction within a public Facebook Reel discussion. The study employed a qualitative descriptive content analysis approach using comments extracted through web scraping. From 789 initial comments, 312 comments were purposively selected and analyzed based on their experiential relevance. The findings reveal several dominant entrepreneurial learning themes, including financial discipline, employee management, strategic business growth, operational competence, and customer orientation. The study further demonstrates that digital communities function not only as communication platforms but also as informal entrepreneurial learning ecosystems that strengthen adaptive awareness, experiential reflection, and peer-based business learning among SME owners.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of epistemic rationality in marketing decision-making on sustainable marketing performance among MSMEs in Kalasan District, Sleman. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational-explanatory design, this research examines causal relationships through a microfoundations perspective. Primary data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires from 384 MSME owners or managers selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 30 software. The results indicate that epistemic rationality has a positive and significant effect on sustainable marketing performance, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.38. These findings confirm that the quality of cognitive processes, specifically the ability to evaluate evidence and justify knowledge, is a crucial determinant of long-term marketing success. Theoretically, this study strengthens the literature on the role of individual cognitive factors in explaining organizational performance. Practically, these results imply the importance of enhancing information literacy and critical reasoning for MSME actors to mitigate decision biases amidst high market uncertainty.

Abstract

The growing demand for environmentally friendly products has not always been accompanied by actual purchasing behavior, resulting in a phenomenon known as the green purchase gap. This study investigates the effects of Price Sensitivity and Perceived Behavioral Control on the Green Purchase Gap among consumers of green products in e-commerce. Drawing on the Theory of Planned Behavior and economic decision-making perspectives, this research examines why consumers fail to translate pro-environmental intentions into actual purchases. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 120 respondents, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that Price Sensitivity has a significant positive effect on the Green Purchase Gap, whereas Perceived Behavioral Control has no significant effect. These findings suggest that consumers’ economic evaluations play a more important role than perceived capability in determining actual green purchasing behavior. The study contributes to the literature by highlighting the importance of integrating psychological and economic perspectives in explaining the intention–behavior gap. Practically, the findings imply that reducing price-related barriers may be more effective than solely increasing consumers’ awareness or perceived control in promoting sustainable consumption.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of consumer interest in PayLater services in Indonesia by leveraging big data from Google Trends for the 2023–2025 period. Using a qualitative approach that integrates spatial analysis and Python-based predictive modeling, this research aims to map temporal search patterns, the geographical distribution of adoption, and the socio-economic factors influencing consumer preference toward three major platforms: Kredivo, Akulaku, and Shopee PayLater. The methodology includes time-series analysis, provincial-level geospatial mapping, and forecasting using the Facebook Prophet algorithm. The findings reveal that PayLater search interest is cyclical, with significant spikes during e-commerce campaigns, public holidays, and monthly payday cycles. Spatially, a sharp adoption disparity exists between urban areas and regions with limited digital infrastructure. Kredivo exhibits the most balanced regional distribution, while Akulaku is heavily concentrated in West Java, and Shopee PayLater shows strong penetration in non-Java regions. The forecasting results project sustained growth in interest through 2027, providing strategic implications for fintech companies in expanding digital financial inclusion across Indonesia.
