Abstract

This research aims to determine priorities in supplier selection. The determination of this supplier uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method by determining the criteria and sub-criteria of the supplier selection objectives. Each criterion and sub-criteria are arranged in a hierarchical structure and compared by determining the priority scale. The selection of suppliers is based on the largest global weight values. The selected supplier is PT. MMII with a global weight value of 0.280. The global weighted assessment has considered consistency in decision-making based on a consistency index, which must be below 10%. It shows that PT. MMII is selected based on existing criteria and sub-criteria compared to other suppliers. This study contributes to group decision-making involving experts to choose the most appropriate supplier.

Abstract

Digital platforms increasingly rely on algorithmic systems to allocate visibility, define evaluative metrics, and recalibrate participation conditions. While prior research has examined platform governance, market shaping, and algorithmic control, strategic management scholarship has yet to fully theorize how algorithmic infrastructures reconfigure the boundaries of competition itself. This article introduces the concept of algorithmic market structuring to explain how competitive boundaries in platform-based economies become endogenous to governance architectures. Integrating boundary theory, competitive dynamics, ecosystem strategy, attention-based theory, performance feedback models, and increasing returns logic, we develop a mechanism-based framework comprising four interrelated processes: visibility-based boundary making, metric re-specification, feedback-loop concentration, and rule volatility–induced adaptation. We argue that algorithmic centrality transforms rivalry from category-based competition to exposure-mediated competition, generating cumulative advantage dynamics and accelerating boundary reconfiguration. Importantly, these effects are not deterministic; their structural consequences depend on differentiation levels, switching costs, and governance automation intensity. By reframing competitive arenas as dynamically curated through algorithmic infrastructures rather than statically defined by industry structure, this study advances strategic management theory and clarifies how digital governance architectures shape the evolution of rivalry in contemporary platform markets.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the influence of digital influencers on purchase intention through brand engagement and brand expected value on Instagram users. Validity and reliability tests as well as path analysis are used in this study. Instagram users who followed social media influencers were participants in the study. The data analysis methods used in this study are loading factor, AVE, cross-loading, and composite reliability tests. Data analysis results show that all variables have good validity and reliability, and the results of hypothetical testing show that digital influencers, brand engagement, and brand expected value have significant influence on purchase intention on Instagram users. This suggests that the digital influence can have positive chain effects, such as increasing consumer engagement with brands, creating expected value for brands, and encouraging customers' desire to buy products. It provides a deeper understanding of how influencer-based marketing strategies can impact consumer behavior related to e-commerce.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of aura framing on fan behavioral intentions in the context of the Indonesian pop band Harra. The research aims to analyze how visual content affects fan engagement and behavioral responses in digital media. The study employed a quantitative explanatory case study design integrating primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through an online survey involving 112 fans, while secondary data were obtained from Google Analytics to evaluate engagement metrics from Harra’s Instagram posts. The study investigates the effects of Visual Liveness, Visual Authenticity, and Visual Emotionality on fan behavioral intentions, including willingness to buy, membership continuance intention, and electronic word-of-mouth intention. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability testing followed by multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that all dimensions of visual aura significantly influence fan behavioral intentions, with Visual Authenticity emerging as the strongest predictor. In addition, digital engagement increased following the release of Harra’s single. These findings indicate that emotionally authentic and relatable visual content plays an important role in strengthening fan loyalty and online engagement. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of digital branding studies by extending the concept of aura framing as a mechanism for fostering emotional closeness and fan loyalty through visual communication. Practically, the study provides insights for independent musicians and creative industry practitioners in developing authentic and emotionally resonant visual branding strategies to strengthen long-term audience engagement.
