Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, terutama dengan adanya internet dan media sosial, telah merubah cara orang berinteraksi dan mengakses informasi. Salah satu fenomena yang paling menonjol dalam komunikasi modern adalah munculnya platform digital seperti YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, dan lainnya, yang memungkinkan setiap individu atau kelompok untuk berbagi informasi secara global. YouTube, telah menjadi salah satu platform utama yang digunakan oleh berbagai kalangan untuk menyampaikan berbagai bentuk komunikasi, baik itu berbentuk edukasi, hiburan, maupun informasi. Kemudahan masyarakat umum untuk mengakses media sosial YouTube di perangkat mereka, fakta bahwa YouTube menawarkan berbagai macam konten, dan fakta bahwa pengguna bebas memilih konten mana yang ingin mereka lihat adalah beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan YouTube menjadi sumber hiburan harian bagi masyarakat umum. Selain itu, YouTube mengizinkan penggunanya untuk mengunggah apa pun yang mereka inginkan selama masih berada dalam parameter pedoman yang telah ditetapkan oleh platform. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi komunitas basket Bogor Warriors mengenai channel Rocky Padila terhadap informasi basket melalui konten yang disajikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan 120 responden melalui media online yang ditentukan melalui non-probability sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada nya hubungan yang positif dalam nilai koefisien korelasi yang Tinggi terhadap Tayangan Channel Rocky Padila di media YouTube (X) dengan Persepsi Komunitas Basket Bogor Warriors (Y). Kesimpulannya hasil hubungan antara Tayangan channel Rocky Padila di media YouTube (X) dengan Persepsi Komuntas Basket Bogor Warriors (Y) menunjukan hasil adanya hubungan nilai koefisien yang Tinggi sebesar 0,788**, dengan nilai signifikansi <0,001.

Abstract

The regeneration of agricultural workers has decreased in the last 10 years, this is feared to have an impact on food security in Indonesia. There are several things that cause the absence of young workers in agricultural sector, including how agricultural values are passed on to their children. This study will focus on (1) identifying communication frequency between parents and youth in context of agricultural work (2) identifying actors that communicate with rural youth in context of agricultural work. (3) Identifying the discussion topics between parents and rural youth in context of agricultural work.  This research was carried out in Ciasmara Village, Bogor Regency from June 2020 - August 2021. Ciasmara Village was chosen as the research location because the village is one of the rice barns in Bogor Regency and the largest rice contributor to the capital city area. A total of 120 village youths were selected as research respondents through purposive sampling method. The results showed that parents still communicated about agriculture to their children in the context of rice cultivation and how to harvest rice. Both of these information are the most frequently discussed information because they are closely related to family labor to save production costs.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze about the effect of internet use on political awareness. This study uses one independent variable, namely internet use and one dependent variable, political awareness. The sampling technique used was Non-probability sampling with accidental sampling technique. The data analysis method used is a quantitative analysis of the validity and reliability test, the classic assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, T test and F test and the coefficient of determination using SPPS software version 22 for windows. The results showed the points of the indicator variables X are intensity, usefulness, effectiveness and variable Y which consists of indicators of knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and patterns of behavior (actions) the results are valid and reliable. In the classical assumption test data is normally distributed, heteroscedasticity symptoms occur. In the hypothesis test the use of the internet has a not positive and not significant influence on political awareness.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, penggunaan smartphone telah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk di kalangan anak-anak. SD Negeri Kedung Badak 4 Bogor, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengatur penggunaan smartphone di kalangan siswanya. Dampak penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan pada anak anak seringkali menimbulkan kekhawatiran, terutama terkait dengan pengaruhnya terhadap kesehatan mental, kinerja akademik, dan interaksi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi persuasif orang tua murid SD Negeri Kedung Badak 4 Bogor dalam mengurangi intensitas penggunaan smartphone pada anak, serta mengetahui faktor penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua murid SD Negeri Kedung Badak 4 Bogor mengimplementasikan: 1) The psychodynamic strategy orang tua murid yaitu berkomunikasi secara terbuka dan jujur, berbicara secara perlahan, serta memberikan apresiasi. 2) The Sociocultural Strategy orang tua murid yaitu menetapkan aturan penggunaan smartphone yang jelas, melibatkan anak dalam kegiatan keluarga atau kegiatan sosial. 3) The Meaning Construction Strategy orang tua murid yaitu mengedukasi dengan bahasa mudah dipahami, membagikan contoh nyata dan sumber daya digital, serta memberikan contoh penggunaan smartphone yang baik. Faktor penghambat strategi komunikasi persuasif orang tua murid SD Negeri Kedung Badak 4 Bogor meliputi faktor motivasi, prejudice atau prasangka, dan kebisingan atau noise factor. Kesimpulannya, orang tua murid SD Negeri Kedung Badak 4 Bogor berhasil mengimplementasikan strategi komunikasi persuasif yang meliputi The Psychodynamic Strategy, The Sociocultural Strategy, dan The Meaning Construction Strategy. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat yang dialami para orang tua yaitu faktor motivasi, faktor prejudice atau prasangka, dan faktor kebisingan atau noise factor.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the perception of rural youth on tourism potential in Ciasmara Village. In addition, this study also tries to describe individual characteristics, frequency of visits to tourist objects, analyse the relationship between individual characteristics and frequency of visits with youth perceptions. Indicators on individual characteristics include age, gender, and level of education. Indicators on the frequency of youth visits include the frequency of visits to waterfalls and the frequency of visits to hot springs. The research was carried out in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from April 2019 to August 2020. This method uses two approaches, namely a Survey approach to see the distribution of perceptions. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with descriptive-correlational quantitative methods, descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and non-parametric statistics (Rank Spearman Chi-Square). This research found that youth in Ciasmara village have a positive perception of tourism potential in Ciasmara village but from the results of in-depth interviews it was also found that there are several challenges that need to be considered if they want to develop Ciasmara Village as a tourist village

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the important sectors that contribute to Indonesian national income. However, agricultural development currently has a tendency to increase productivity it impacts on the agricultural system which tends to make agriculture as "commodities" and reduces the position of agriculture as an spiritual activity. Mainstreaming agriculture into "commodity" has an impact on the lost of cultural infrastructure that is supporting agriculture. This study aims to (1) see the existence of Sedakah Bumi” practices in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency (2) Transformation practices of Sedekah Bumi” in Ciasmara village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a Rapid-Ethnography approach or fast ethnography, located in the village of Ciasmara, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from March 2019 - August 2019. This research found that in Ciasmara village there is still the practice of Sedekah Bumi”, but the form of the celebration is not in the form of a colossal celebration but the celebration in the form of private in the family. This form of transformation of the Sedekah Bumi” emerged as a response from the respect of each component of society so as not to violate each other's main norms adopted by each group of people. Keywords: existence, preservation of agriculture, sedekah bumi

Abstract

The widespread circulation of “fear of marriage” narratives on social media has intensified public discourse on intimate relationships and raised concerns about shifting marital perceptions among Generation Z. This study examines the relationship between social media exposure, perceptions of negative marriage-related issues, and marriage preferences among Generation Z. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using accidental sampling. Data were collected from 390 undergraduate students from Universitas Pakuan, IPB University, and Universitas Ibn Khaldun in Bogor City, Indonesia, through a structured questionnaire with a four-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests were applied. The findings reveal a weak but significant positive correlation between social media exposure and marriage preference (r = 0.164; p = 0.001), and a significant negative correlation between perceptions of negative issues such as domestic violence, financial burden, and infidelity and marriage preference (r = −0.238; p = 0.000). Notably, 95.92% of respondents reported positive marriage preferences. This study contributes to communication scholarship by demonstrating that social media does not reduce Generation Z’s intention to marry, but instead shapes more selective and rational marital decision-making within digital meaning-construction processes.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven a transformation in public communication strategies, particularly through social media. Tiktok, as one of the short-form video-based platforms, as experienced significant growth in Indonesia, with over 150 million users recorded in 2024. This platform is no longer used solely for entertainment purposes but has also been adopted by various institutions, including government bodies, as an effective and real-time medium for disseminating information to the wider public. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the public relations division of the Bogor City Government in disseminating information to the public through the TikTok social media account @pemkotbogor. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to collect data from active TikTok users who follow the account. The study was conducted in the Bogor City area using purposive sampling, selecting respondents based on their active use of TikTok social media. The results indicate that the public relations activities through the TikTok account @pemkotbogor are effective in spreading information to the community, demonstrated by high levels of understanding, interaction, and message reach. In conclusion, the use of TikTok social media by the Bogor City Government can serve as an efficient public communication strategy in the digital era; however, continuous improvement in content quality and interactivity is needed to reach a wider audience.
