Abstract

This research is concerned to elaborate new potential tourist attraction in Desa Pemo Taman Nasional Kelimutu. Desa Pemo has special attraction that is authentic and unique related with nature and culture. The method used is qualitative with descriptive approach. The data collected through in depth interviews with Head of Desa Pemo, Representative of Taman Nasional Kelimutu management, community member, and tourist. The data analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result shows that Desa Pemo has a authentic and unique attraction from the beauty of nature, culture, and hospitable community. Desa Pemo is classified in Quadrant I which means needs to take advantage of external opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoid external threats. Abstract

The Protestant Church of Kupang City (GPKK) is one of the cultural heritages established by the Ministerial Decree NoKM.51 / OT.007 / MKP / 2004. This church was founded in 1614, at that time it was located inside the Fort Concordia (TNI Fortress Dormitory). The cultural heritage of this building category is the potential of Kupang City as a cultural heritage from the Dutch colonial. However, over time, development around the cultural heritage area is getting faster. Many old buildings with historical value are starting to be abandoned or rebuilt into new buildings. Even though historical buildings, especially cultural heritage, are important assets of the state to maintain the historical value of the nation in order to remain sustainable. The objectives of this study are (1) Describe the latest condition of the cultural heritage site of the Protestant Church in Kupang City, (2) Describe the use of cultural heritage sites as tourist attractions, and (3) Recommend strategies for preserving cultural heritage to the authorities. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collected were obtained from field observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies related to the preservation of cultural heritage. The results of this study indicate that (1) GPKK as a cultural heritage that has historical value has been managed by the Cultural Heritage Conservation Center (BPCB) for the Bali, NTB and NTT areas since 2004. All Dutch heritage in the GPKK is an important part. from the preservation of the GPKK Cultural Heritage as a cultural tourist attraction. The problems in preservation and management seen in the GPKK arise due to the lack of attention from the Congregation, Church Managers, and the Government in the maintenance of heritage objects. (2) Currently, GPKK is still actively used as a place of worship for the Kupang City congregation. (3) The government is currently in the process of increasing public awareness to protect the site as a cultural heritage of Kupang City. This effort is in order to optimize the use and care factors around the cultural heritage so that it remains sustainable. Abstract

Medical Tourism is a potential sector to develop in Bali. Medical clinics offer various medical services treatment to attract tourists. The clinics must have an excellent quality of standard services to get customers satisfaction. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the medical services quality on tourist satisfaction and tourist loyalty in Radiance Clinic Bali. They were about 200 respondents and selected using accidental sampling technique. The analysis uses Structural Equation Model (SEM), calculated with AMOS program. The result of research examines that service quality is a main variable with significance effects on the satisfaction and loyalty of tourists’ customers in Bali. Results of the research indicated that there is direct effect between service quality to satisfaction and satisfaction to loyalty. On the other hand, indirect effect happens between service quality to loyalty. Keywords: Service Quality, Tourist Satisfaction, Tourist Loyalty

Abstract

This research is concerned with cross-border tourism in Asam Jokowi, Desa Tulakadi. It aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Asam Jokowi and analyzing the strategy of Community Based Tourism in Desa Tulakadi. The research was conducted in Desa Tulakadi. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with five key informants. Futhermore, the data were analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of this study indicate that Desa Tulakadi has a potential tourist attraction. Based from IFAS EFAS analysis, Asam Jokowi Desa Tulakadi classified in Quadrant I (Agresive Growth) which means the strategies needed to maintain and improve the quality of tourism potential attractions. The role and cooperation of the community, media, academics, and government are necessary to develop the tourism potential of Asam Jokowi in Desa Tulakadi as a tourist destination in the cross-border region. Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata di Nusa Tenggara Timur tidak terlepas dari dukungan industri ekonomi kreatif yang secara aktif memasarkan produk-produk unggulan lokal salah satunya tenun ikat yang diproduksi di Kampoeng Tenun Alor Kota Kupang. Industri kreatif ini telah berjalan sejak tahun 2014 dengan dikelola oleh kelompok pengrajin perempuan bernama Ternate yang mencintai tenun ikat dan memiliki visi untuk memperkenalkan kain tenun ikat NTT menjadi produk yang mendunia. Namun, visi yang optimis tersebut belum didukung oleh kemampuan yang optimal dalam mengelola manajemen usaha dalam bidang kreasi tenun. Masalah ini dipersulit dengan datangnya pandemic yang menyebabkan kelompok Ternate di Kampoeng Tenun Alor menghadapi kesulitan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, menambah diversifikasi produk tenun, mengelola keuangan usaha, dan kesulitan dalam pelaporan pajak. Pelatihan ini merupakan sebuah upaya untuk mengoptimalkan tata kelola manajemen usaha di Kampung Tenun Alor. Pelatihan manajemen usaha UKM berisi materi mengenai kewirausahaan, keuangan, dan perpajakan bagi industri kreatif. Melalui metode pendidikan masyarakat, peserta pelatihan berjumlah 10 orang dari kelompok pengrajin Mmendapatkan pelatihan manajemen usaha dan terampil mengelola manajemen usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas industri ekonomi kreatif dalam mendukung kebangkitan pariwisata di Nusa Tenggara Timur Small Medium Enterprise Business Management Training for Women's Group of Ikat Weaving Craftsmen in Kampoeng Tenun Alor, Kupang City The development of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara is inseparable from the support of the creative economy industry which is actively marketing superior local products, for example, Ikat weaving produced by a group of women in Kampoeng Tenun Alor, Kupang City. This creative industry has been running since 2014, managed by a group of women craftsmen named Ternate who loves ikat weaving and has the vision to introduce NTT woven cloth into a global product. However, this optimistic vision has not been supported by optimal abilities in managing business management in the field of weaving creations. This problem was exacerbated by the arrival of the pandemic which caused the Ternate group in Kampoeng Tenun Alor to face difficulties in increasing work productivity, increasing diversification of woven products, managing business finances, and difficulties in tax reporting. This training is an effort to optimize business management governance in Kampung Tenun Alor. SME business management training contains material on entrepreneurship, finance, and taxation for the creative industry. Through the community education method, 10 training participants from the craftsmen group received business management training and were skilled in managing business management to increase the productivity of the creative economy industry in supporting the revival of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Socialization of Tourism Awareness as an Effort to Develop Community-Based Rural Tourism in Fatukoto Village. Rural Tourism Development is a government program to build a village tourism system and improve community welfare. In 2019, the Ministry of Tourism collaborates with universities to build tourist villages in East Nusa Tenggara Province. One of the villages is Fatukoto Village as a pilot rural tourism that has natural potential in the form of Pine Forest, Kaenka Lake, and Fatunausus Marble Cliffs. This community service seeks to increase tourism awareness for the people of Fatukoto Village through the SAPTA PESONA approach. The method chosen in implementing this community service is community education in which there are observations, interviews, documentation, focus group discussions, and socialization. The number of participants who took part in this service activity was 30 people aged 17-50 years. The result of this community service is the formation of a tourism awareness group in Fatukoto Village and a tourism work program in Fatukoto Village such as plans for cultural activities, regulations on the cleanliness of tourist attractions, and commitment to building Fatukoto tourism villages.

Abstract

Lembata Regency is known as a cultural attraction of whale hunting which is well known internationally. Moreover, the government wants to introduce Lembata's potential product by establish Tourism Village so that tourist visits can increase and can improve the welfare of the community through tourism. Because of the target, the government collaborates with tourism assistants in managing 26 Tourism Villages in Lembata Regency. This study aims to describe the role of tourism assistants in accompany development of 26 Tourism Villages in Lembata Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data obtained from observations, interviews with key informants, and documentation during the activities. The results showed that the role of tourism companion consists of various contributions summarized in four roles, namely as a facilitator, as an educator and motivator, as a liaison as well as a coordinator and mediator, and as an implementer of monitoring and evaluation of each mentoring program being implemented. Some of the obstacles found in the mentoring process were distance, time, and strict health protocols that were sometimes neglected due to the pandemic covid 19.

Abstract

Patung Bunda Maria Teluk Gurita Atambua merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata baru yang terletak di kawasan Fatuloko, Dusun Teluk Gurita, Desa Dualaus, Kecamatan Kakuluk Mesak, Kabupaten Belu. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran destinasi wisata Patung Bunda Maria Teluk Gurita Atambua berbasis CHSE. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data, yakni observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan matriks SWOT, yakni menganalisis dan merumuskan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman yang terjadi terkait dengan pemasaran destinasi wisata Patung Bunda Maria, sehingga disusunlah strategi pemasaran destinasi berbasis CHSE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran destinasi wisata Patung Bunda Maria belum dilakukan secara maksimal oleh Dinas Pariwisata selaku pengelola karena destinasi masih dalam tahap pengerjaan lanjutan, maka strategi yang perlu dikembangkan agar ketika destinasi sudah selesai dikerjakan dan dibuka untuk umum adalah strategi pemasaran produk berbasis CHSE yang tepat, pengembangan fasilitas pariwisata dan fasilitas umum dalam kawasan destinasi, strategi keamanan dan kenyamanan dalam pemasaran produk, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam melakukan pemasaran destinasi wisata berbasis CHSE. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mensukseskan pemasaran destinasi wisata Patung Bunda Maria Teluk Gurita Atambua berbasis CHSE, maka sangat perlu adanya partisipasi masyarakat lokal dalam pemasaran destinasi wisata, sehingga tercapai suatu pembangunan berkelanjutan yang diharapkan dapat mendorong pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat lokal dan dapat menjadi penyumbang devisa daerah Kabupaten Belu.

Abstract

COVID-19 membawa dampak yang berkepanjangan dalam kehidupan manusia. Mulai dari pembatasan mobilitas sosial sampai dengan kerugian yang dirasakan oleh sektor ekonomi terkhusus di Indonesia. Salah satu daya tarik wisata budaya yang menggantungkan ekonomi pada sektor pariwisata adalah Desa Wisata Lamalera B di Kabupaten Lembata. Produk pariwisata berbasis budaya telah menjadi bagian dari identitas masyarakat setempat contohnya seperti pasar barter, produk souvenir berbahan dasar tulang paus, prosesi ritual berburu, usaha homestay, usaha makan dan minum dan usaha pendukung pariwisata lainnya. Selama pandemi, penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mencapai angka 90% bahkan menyentuh angka nol dan sangat berdampak pada pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat lokal dari sektor pariwisata. Dampak pandemi pada unit usaha pariwisata di Lamalera terlihat pada unit usaha homestay, makanan, minuman, dan usaha kreatif. Sedangkan untuk tradisi budaya seperti ritual perburuan paus dan pasar barter tetap dilaksanakan seperti biasanya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to formulate a development strategy for Kepo Beach as a buffer tourism destination in Sabu Raijua Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method by conducting observations, interviews, and direct documentation with several selected informants to support the success of this research. The results of this study indicate that there is a new development strategy that can be used to develop tourism at Kepo Beach to support leading tourism in Sabu Raijua Regency by applying the principles of supporting tourism development from the results of the SWOT analysis. It can be concluded that Kepo Beach has the potential and opportunities to develop in a better direction but it is necessary to use strengths to take advantage of opportunities, overcome weaknesses and threats by improving facilities and human resources at Kepo Beach.
