Abstract

Shopee is one of the most popular online marketplaces in Indonesia, with more than 103 million users in 2023. Most users consider factors such as customer reviews, ratings, prices, and free shipping promotions before making a purchase. Analyzing user reviews is essential to understand consumer perceptions of services, identify satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and detect potential issues that need to be addressed. However, sentiment analysis faces challenges in processing text with diverse language styles, structures, and informal expressions. To overcome these challenges, this study applies machine learning algorithms—Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN)—for classifying sentiment in Shopee user reviews. Data labeling using the Lexicon InSet method produced 9,509 positive reviews (47.55%), 7,686 negative reviews (38.43%), and 2,805 neutral reviews (14.03%). Based on the Confusion Matrix results, SVM outperformed KNN, particularly in classifying negative and neutral sentiments with higher accuracy. These findings indicate that SVM is a more effective and efficient model for sentiment analysis of user reviews on the Shopee platform.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on the intention to use electronic medical records (EMRs) with attitude as an intervening variable at Cenka Hospital. Differences in staff perceptions regarding the benefits and convenience of EMR implementation were identified as factors contributing to the low intention to use the system. Some healthcare workers perceived limited benefits from EMRs, reducing their motivation to utilize the technology effectively. The study aimed to identify strategic factors that could improve EMR adoption, particularly attitudes, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use.A quantitative causal research design was employed using descriptive analysis and the three-box method. The respondents consisted of 70 hospital staff members selected through a saturated sampling (census) technique. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The findings revealed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude each had a significant positive effect on the intention to use EMRs. In addition, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use positively influenced users’ attitudes toward EMR implementation. However, attitude did not mediate the relationship between perceived usefulness and intention to use EMRs, nor the relationship between perceived ease of use and intention. The study recommends improving staff competence through continuous training, strengthening information technology support teams, regularly updating EMR systems, and enhancing infrastructure such as internet speed and computer specifications to optimize EMR utilization and reduce patient care errors.

Abstract

Suicidal individuals frequently share their desires on social media. As a result, it was determined that a learning machine for early detection of suicide issues on social media was required. This study aims to examine Twitter (X) users’ suicide-related sentiment expressions. The results of searching X for the keywords ‘suicide’, ‘wish to die’, and ‘want to commit suicide’ for 4 months yielded 5,535 tweets. Following the cleaning process, 2,425 tweets were collected. The findings of labeling with the lexicon-based valence aware dictionary and sentiment reasoner (VADER) and Indonesia sentiment (INSET) lexicon, which psychologists confirmed, revealed that VADER was more accurate (92.1%) than INSET (81.6%). Sentiment research reveals negative (86.4%), positive (11.1%), and neutral (2.5%) sentiment. Support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), and Naïve Bayes modeling results show accuracy above 86%, with SVM having the best accuracy (87.65%). Because of its great accuracy, this model can be used to identify and analyze suspicious behavior relating to suicide on X. Further research is still required, despite the excellent identification of early indicators of suicide ideation from social media posts.

Abstract

Online meeting activities have become mandatory since the Covid-19 pandemic. PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia has utilized the zoom cloud meeting application to use remote meetings for internal and external use. However, in practice, the process of ordering and creating meeting schedules is still done manually and has not been integrated so that this is felt to be less than optimal and can lead to errors caused by someone (human error) which results in clashes in the schedule for using the zoom meeting account. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based zoom meeting management application at PT PLN EPI. The system development method is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The system design uses the programming language PHP and MySQL as the database. System testing is done using black box testing. The results of this study are the successful creation of a web-based zoom meeting account management system at PT PLN EPI which is able to improve the quality of zoom meeting account management so that management related to zoom meeting scheduling can be carried out automatically because it is already integrated by the system, which can avoid clashes in the use of zoom accounts .

Abstract

This study was grounded on observations indicating that the utilization rate of the Hospital Information Management System (HIS) WPRO at the Medical Check-Up (MCU) Unit of XY Hospital remains relatively low. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Information Quality, System Quality, Facilitating Conditions, Subjective Norm, and Intention to Use on the Net Benefit of HIS usage at the MCU Unit of XY Hospital, employing a modified DeLone & McLean Information System Success Model. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal design. The study population consisted of all hospital staff involved in the Medical Check-Up (MCU) services, totaling 84 respondents. Sampling was carried out using a probability sampling method with a saturated sample, as all eligible MCU personnel were included in the study. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS). The results demonstrate that Information Quality, System Quality, Facilitating Conditions, Subjective Norm, and Intention to Use simultaneously exert a significant influence on the Net Benefit of HIS utilization (p < 0.05). Theoretically, these findings support the propositions of prior research and confirm the relevance of established IS success models. From a managerial perspective, the results provide practical recommendations for XY Hospital to enhance HIS implementation by improving data integration, strengthening information security protocols, and increasing organizational support. These initiatives are expected to foster stronger user intention and, ultimately, lead to greater tangible benefits from HIS implementation in healthcare operations.
