Abstract

Learning Indonesian in elementary schools has an important role in developing students' literacy skills, including the ability to understand and write various types of texts, such as poetry. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a relevant learning model to be applied in learning poetry riddles. This research aims to analyze the usability or usability of PBL-based teaching modules on poetry puzzle material in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative research, namely the survey method using a questionnaire. The research results show that the largest variable is directed by the Feedback variable (UB) with a gain of 73% and the lowest variable is directed by User Activity (AP) with a gain of 13%. A high feedback value indicates good convergent validity, while a low value indicates there is room for improvement or development on the variable.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the integration of information and communication technology in education has become an urgent necessity. One rapidly developing innovation is the use of website-based learning media. This study examines the acceptability of website-based learning media designed in alignment with the Merdeka learning framework in elementary schools in the Sumedang region. The research employs a quantitative approach, using a correlational survey method with path analysis. The findings indicate that, among the ten evaluated indicators, two indicators Social Influence on Behavioral Intention and Effort Expectancy on Behavioral Intention play a decisive role in determining the acceptability of instructional materials and media. These indicators demonstrate a strong positive influence on the developed media, indicating high levels of acceptance. The results show that social influence and perceived ease of use are the primary determinants of acceptance and effectiveness of the learning media.

Abstract

Low critical thinking skills among elementary school students regarding abstract concepts, such as Earth and Moon movements, present a significant challenge in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes critical reasoning. This study aims to analyze the influence of Assemblr EDU-based Augmented Reality (AR) on enhancing the critical thinking skills of sixth-grade students. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design was utilized, involving 56 students divided into experimental (n=28) and control (n=28) groups. Data collection instruments included critical thinking tests and observation sheets, followed by statistical analysis using Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney, and N-Gain Score tests. The findings revealed a substantial disparity in outcomes; the experimental group achieved a mean post-test score of 91.25, significantly higher than the control group's 57.86. Furthermore, the N-Gain analysis showed that Assemblr EDU reached an effectiveness level of 84.7% (High category), whereas the control group only attained 27.9% (Low category). These results demonstrate that 3D visualization through AR effectively bridges the cognitive transition from the concrete operational to the abstract thinking stages. Consequently, this study provides a strong recommendation for educational practitioners to integrate AR-based media into Science (IPAS) instruction to foster students' analytical, inferential, and evaluative competencies optimally at the primary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of homeroom teachers in instilling educational values in students and identify challenges faced in implementing them in the school environment. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews using WhatsApp written messages with two homeroom teachers as informants. The collected data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that homeroom teachers play a crucial role not only in academic aspects, but also in fostering attitudes, behavior, and social and emotional development of students. The instillation of educational values is carried out through role models, habituation, a personal approach, and linking values to real situations in everyday school life. The values instilled include discipline, responsibility, honesty, courtesy, cooperation, caring, religiosity, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. The research findings also indicate that the success of instilling values is more influenced by ongoing interaction between homeroom teachers and students than by formal learning methods alone. Obstacles faced by homeroom teachers include differences in student character, family background, and environmental influences outside of school. This study concludes that the role of homeroom teachers who are humane, consistent, and supported by cooperation between the school and family is a key factor in the success of instilling educational values in schools.

Abstract

Continuing education plays a crucial role in improving the quality of learning and developing superior human resources amidst increasingly rapid social and technological developments. This study aims to examine the role of continuing education in improving the quality of learning and developing superior human resources based on netizen responses on social media. This study employed a netnography method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and documentation of netizen posts and comments on social media discussing education issues, particularly public views on the importance of schools and formal education. Data sources consisted of primary data in the form of netizen responses and secondary data obtained from journals and relevant scientific articles. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods by categorizing and interpreting netizen responses according to the research focus. The results indicate that the majority of netizens have a positive view of continuing education and view it as a long-term process that plays a role in shaping individual mindsets, character, and maturity. These findings demonstrate that continuing education contributes to improving the quality of learning and supports the formation of superior human resources. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for continued development and support from various parties to produce human resources with high academic and character qualities.
