Abstract

Literasi numerasi merupakan kompetensi dasar yang penting dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah dasar untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Literasi numerasi tidak hanya berkaitan dengan kemampuan berhitung, tetapi juga mencakup kemampuan memahami, menganalisis, dan menerapkan konsep matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat ketersediaan sumber belajar yang mendukung literasi numerasi di sekolah dasar, mengidentifikasi hubungan antara ketersediaan sumber belajar dengan peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa, serta menelaah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan sumber belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner skala likert yang disebarkan secara daring kepada guru SD di wilayah Bekasi. Data dikumpulkan untuk menggambarkan kondisi nyata secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui kecenderungan hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan sumber belajar di sekolah dasar masih belum merata, terutama antara daerah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Faktor-faktor seperti kompetensi pedagogis guru, dukungan kebijakan sekolah, serta fasilitas pembelajaran terbukti berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas pemanfaatan sumber belajar. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemerataan sumber belajar, peningkatan profesionalisme guru, serta inovasi media pembelajaran digital sebagai langkah strategis untuk memperkuat kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan maker pedagogy melalui praktikum IPA sederhana pada materi rangkaian listrik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SDN Wanajaya 05 Cibitung dengan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif yang meliputi tahapan sosialisasi, seminar dan workshop, pendampingan dan evaluasi,  serta keberlanjutan program. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei pasca pelatihan, dan dokumentasi. Jumlah responden dalam kegiatan ini adalah 14 orang guru SDN Wanajaya 05. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman guru terhadap konsep maker pedagogy, keterampilan dalam melaksanakan praktikum IPA sederhana pada materi rangkaian arus listrik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat  dilaksanakan selama satu hari pada Hari  Sabtu, 18 April 2026.  Berdasarkan hasil survei pasca pelatihan mayoritas guru memberikan respon sangat positif terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan, terutama pada aspek relevansi materi, kegiatan praktik, dan kebermanfaatan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Penggunaan bahan sederhana seperti playdough dalam praktikum rangkaian listrik terbukti mampu meningkatkan kreativitas dan pemahaman konsep sains secara kontekstual. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong kolaborasi, refleksi, serta pengembangan profesional guru secara berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, program ini berkontribusi dalam mentransformasi pembelajaran IPA menjadi lebih aktif, inovatif, dan berorientasi pada penguatan literasi sains serta keterampilan abad ke-21.Kata kunci: Maker Pedagogy; Pelatihan Guru; Praktikum IPA; Sekolah Dasar; Keterampilan Abad 21. ABSTRACTThis community service program aimed to enhance elementary school teachers’ competencies in implementing maker pedagogy through simple science practicum activities on electrical circuit materials. The program was conducted at SDN Wanajaya 05 Cibitung using a participatory training approach consisting of socialization, seminars and workshops, mentoring and evaluation, as well as program sustainability stages. The study employed a quantitative descriptive method, with data collected through post-training surveys and documentation. The participants involved in this activity were 14 teachers from SDN Wanajaya 05.The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of maker pedagogy concepts and their skills in conducting simple science practicum activities on electric circuit topics. The community service activity was carried out in one day on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Based on the post-training survey results, most teachers provided very positive responses toward the training implementation, particularly regarding the relevance of the materials, practical activities, and the usefulness for classroom learning. The use of simple materials such as playdough in electric circuit practicum activities was proven to enhance creativity and contextual understanding of science concepts. In addition, the program encouraged collaboration, reflection, and continuous professional development among teachers. Therefore, this program contributed to transforming science learning into a more active, innovative, and student-centered process oriented toward strengthening scientific literacy and 21st-century skills.Keywords: Maker Pedagog;, Teacher Training; Science Practicum; Elementary School; 21st Century Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness level of elementary school teachers in integrating the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach into thematic learning. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with 15 elementary school teachers in Bekasi Regency who had attended STEAM-related training or teaching experience. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire covering three aspects of readiness: knowledge, attitude, and skills. The results showed that most teachers were categorized as ready in knowledge and attitude, but only moderately ready in skills, particularly in designing and implementing STEAM-based project learning. Factors influencing teacher readiness include training experience, school facilities, and access to digital learning resources. The study recommends continuous professional development and mentoring programs to enhance teachers’ capacity in implementing STEAM effectively within thematic learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Teacher perception is a key factor influencing curriculum implementation in elementary schools, particularly in the application of numeracy literacy learning in the Independent Curriculum. This study aims to describe elementary school teachers’ perceptions of numeracy literacy and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in their educational environment. Numeracy literacy is defined as a teacher’s ability to use symbols and numbers to solve practical problems, analyze information presented in form of graphs, tables, or diagrams, and interpret it to make appropriate decisions. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a Likert-scale-based survey instrument distributed to elementary school teachers in certain areas. The results are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the level of understanding, attitudes, and challenges faced by teachers in implementing literacy according to the direction of the Independent Curriculum. These findings will form the basis for developing professional teacher training, developing learning modules, and policies that are more responsive to the needs of teachers and students. Thus, this research not only provides academic but also practical contributions in improving the quality of mathematics learning and numeracy literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of teacher training in improving numeracy literacy competence in elementary schools. Numeracy literacy is a fundamental skill that enables students to understand, interpret, and apply numerical concepts in everyday life. The low achievement of numeracy literacy at the elementary level indicates the need to strengthen teachers’ capacity as learning facilitators. This research employed a quantitative method using a pretest-posttest design on a group of elementary school teachers who participated in a training program. Data were collected through competency tests, classroom observations, and participant questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies after attending the training, as indicated by the increase in posttest scores compared to pretest scores. In addition, teachers demonstrated better skills in designing context-based numeracy learning and implementing numeracy literacy strategies in the classroom. Therefore, teacher training was proven effective in enhancing numeracy literacy competence in elementary schools and had a positive impact on improving the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana persepsi guru sekolah dasar terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dipandang penting karena dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta kerja sama di antara peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket survei dengan skala Likert empat poin, data diperoleh melalui menyebar survei secara online melalui google from yang dirancang untuk menilai persepsi guru pada aspek pemahaman konsep STEAM, kesiapan pelaksanaan, dukungan sarana dan prasarana, serta manfaat pembelajaran bagi siswa. Responden penelitian terdiri atas guru-guru sekolah dasar dari berbagai sekolah yang telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pembelajaran STEAM, terutama dalam hal peningkatan kreativitas siswa dan kesesuaian dengan tuntutan keterampilan abad ke-21. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru, serta tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan antar bidang pelajaran. Hasil pembahasan menekankan bahwa dukungan kelembagaan dan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru berperan penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan STEAM. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya program pelatihan berkelanjutan, penyediaan sarana pendukung, serta pengembangan panduan praktis agar implementasi pembelajaran STEAM di sekolah dasar dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi digital dan kreativitas calon guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) melalui pelatihan Digital Comic sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru dalam merancang media berbasis teknologi dan mengintegrasikan pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) dalam praktik pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan dengan model inservice training yang meliputi lima tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan melalui pembentukan komunitas kreator. Peserta pelatihan adalah calon guru yang sedang melaksanakan kegiatan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolah (PLP) sebanyak 12 orang mahasiswa calon guru SD. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek literasi digital, keterampilan desain media, dan kemampuan pedagogik mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Mahasiswa juga mampu menghasilkan Digital Comic yang menarik, kontekstual, dan sesuai karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Terbentuknya Komunitas Kreator Digital Comic menjadi langkah strategis untuk menjaga keberlanjutan inovasi mahasiswa serta mendukung implementasi kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dan capaian Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) perguruan tinggi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi nyata terhadap penguatan kompetensi calon guru SD dalam menghadapi tantangan transformasi pendidikan di era digital. Kata kunci: comic digital, calon guru SD, literasi digital, TPACK, pelatihan inservice.  ABSTRACTThis Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the digital literacy competencies and creativity of prospective elementary school teachers through training in Digital Comics as an innovative learning medium. The program is motivated by the limited ability of pre-service teachers to design technology-based instructional media and to integrate the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework into teaching practices. The PkM was implemented using an in-service training model consisting of five stages: socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and sustainability through the establishment of a creator community. The participants were 12 prospective elementary school teachers from Universitas Pelita Bangsa who were undertaking the School-Based Teaching Practice Program (Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolah/PLP). The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ digital literacy, media design skills, and pedagogical competencies in developing technology-enhanced learning. Additionally, the participants successfully produced engaging, contextual Digital Comics aligned with the characteristics of elementary school students. The formation of a Digital Comic Creator Community serves as a strategic step to ensure the sustainability of student innovation while supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the achievement of Higher Education Key Performance Indicators (IKU). Therefore, this program contributes meaningfully to strengthening the competencies of prospective elementary school teachers in addressing the challenges of educational transformation in the digital era. Keywords: digital comic, pre-service elementary teachers, digital literacy, TPACK, inservice training.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the learning environment on the development of numeracy literacy among elementary school students. Using a descriptif quantitative approach with a survey method based on a Likert scale, data were collected from students and teachers in several elementary schools. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were employed to identify the most influential learning environment factors on numeracy literacy. Results indicate that learning environment factors, such as classroom atmosphere, facilities, and teaching methods, significantly impact students' numeracy skills. These findings emphasize the importance of a conducive learning environment in supporting basic numeracy development. The application of this research is expected to improve learning environments and enhance numeracy literacy at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze elementary school students' perceptions of literacy and numeracy learning, which are important basic competencies in the era of globalization. Numeracy literacy encompasses not only the ability to calculate, but also the understanding and application of mathematical concepts in real-life contexts. Facts show that elementary school students' numeracy literacy skills in Indonesia are still relatively low, this may be caused by negative perceptions of such learning. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a Likert-scale questionnaire instrument to obtain objective data regarding students' views on the literacy and numeracy learning process. The results of the study indicate that students have a high level of enthusiasm, interest, and understanding of literacy and numeracy activities carried out at school. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for teachers and schools in designing more engaging, contextual, and student- centered learning strategies, thereby increasing motivation and learning outcomes. In addition, this study is expected to contribute to national education policy in strengthening the implementation of numeracy literacy programs in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing numeracy literacy in elementary schools. Numeracy literacy is an important skill that students must have in order to understand, interpret, and use mathematical concepts in everyday life. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limited teacher competence, lack of facilities and infrastructure, inadequate learning media, and minimal numeracy literacy training for educators. These conditions have an impact on low student numeracy skills and suboptimal literacy-based learning in elementary schools. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method through a Likert scale questionnaire distributed online to elementary school teachers in the Bekasi area. The data were analyzed descriptively to describe the types and levels of obstacles experienced by teachers in the learning process. The results of the study provide a comprehensive picture of the factors that hinder the implementation of numeracy literacy and form the basis for formulating strategies to improve the quality of learning. This study contributes to schools and policy makers in designing teacher training programs, developing innovative learning media, and strengthening a culture of numeracy literacy to improve the quality of basic education.
