Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has become integral to all aspects of modern life. This research examines the relationship between employee competency and the use of a digitalized GIS website for managing customer data, focusing on employees at PDAM Surabaya City. The study involved 100 participants and employed a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and surveys through questionnaires. Findings reveal that while employees generally believe their education and technological skills are well-suited to their job roles and support their performance, there are notable issues with the GIS website's reliability and error management. Statistical analysis confirms that employee competencies significantly impact the effective use of the GIS website, underscoring the importance of skill development in optimizing digital tool utilization and enhancing organizational efficiency. The research implies that improving employee competencies and addressing technical issues with the GIS website are essential for enhancing its utilization and overall organizational performance.Abdillah, M. Abstract

The lack of optimal implementation of Good Governance and the use of information technology is thought to affect the quality of government financial reports. For this reason, this research is intended to determine the relationship between the application of Good Governance, the use of information technology and the reliability of the financial statements of the regional government of South Sumatra Province. The study population was employees of 40 Regional Apparatus Organizations in South Sumatra Province. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and 120 respondents are obtained consisting of heads of departments, treasurers of offices, administrators of finance or accounting, and staff of finance at the Regional Apparatus Organization of South Sumatra Province. The collection method uses a questionnaire distributed from May-June 2019. The results of the study show that Good Governance does not have a significant effect on the reliability of local government financial reports. On the contrary, the use of information technology has a significant positive impact on the reliability of local government financial reports. The results of this study have implications for the Regional Government of South Sumatra Province as a Good Governance agent in the government to commit and consistently utilize information and accountable technology in transparent financial reporting.

As digital technologies continue to revolutionize the information landscape, the role of information professionals has evolved significantly. In the digital library environment, information brokerage skills have become a necessity to bridge the gap between users and the vast amount of digital information available. This seminar explores the critical role of information brokerage skills in digital libraries, emphasizing their importance in information retrieval, evaluation, curation, user support, and information literacy instruction. It also examines the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital age and discusses how information professionals can leverage their expertise to enhance the digital library experience for users. By embracing the challenges and opportunities of the digital age, information brokers play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital libraries and promoting information literacy in the digital era. In conclusion, information brokerage skills are indispensable in the digital library environment. Abstract

Pengelolaan data siswa merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam administrasi sekolah yang memerlukan sistem yang efisien dan akurat. Selama ini pengolahan data di SMK PAB 5 Kelambir Lima masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering menimbulkan kesalahan, keterlambatan, dan kesulitan dalam mengakses data yang akurat dan terkini. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu sistem informasi berbasis web untuk mendukung pengelolaan data siswa yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pengelolaan data siswa berbasis web di SMK PAB 5 Kelambir Lima. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah PHP dengan database MySQL untuk menyimpan data siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang mampu mengelola data mahasiswa antara lain pendaftaran mahasiswa baru, pengelolaan data akademik, dan laporan mahasiswa. Dengan sistem ini, proses pengelolaan data menjadi lebih terstruktur, efisien, dan mudah diakses oleh sekolah. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan efisiensi operasional administrasi sekolah.

Abstract

Puskesmas Kelambir Lima mempunyai peranan penting dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat, salah satunya adalah pengelolaan obat yang efisien dan akurat. Namun pengelolaan data obat di Puskesmas ini masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kesalahan pencatatan stok, keterlambatan distribusi obat, dan sulitnya memperoleh informasi yang cepat dan akurat mengenai ketersediaan obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi aplikasi pengolahan data obat di Puskesmas Kelambir Lima berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan framework CodeIgniter. Framework CodeIgniter dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mendukung pengembangan aplikasi yang ringan, cepat, dan mudah diimplementasikan. Sistem ini dirancang untuk menangani pengelolaan stok obat, pencatatan transaksi masuk dan keluar, serta menyediakan fitur pelaporan terintegrasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu memudahkan pengelolaan data obat di Puskesmas Kelambir Lima secara lebih terstruktur, efisien, dan dapat diakses secara real-time. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas operasional Puskesmas, meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan, dan mempercepat proses pendistribusian obat kepada pasien.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of Tax Consultant Licensing Services through the Tax Consultant Information System Application (SIKOP) at the Financial Professional Development Center of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance, by presenting a case study of the use of the SIKOP application. E-Government, whose aim is to provide the best service to the public in a transparent, effective and efficient manner, turns out that in its implementation it is still faced with various challenges which result in the ineffectiveness of e-government itself. The research uses qualitative methods by analyzing data through interviews, observation and documentation studies. This approach enables an in-depth understanding of the implementation of SIKOP and the e-Government challenges faced in the Ministry of Finance. The research results show a significant increase in the accessibility of licensing services and the acceleration of the licensing process since the adoption of SIKOP. However, the study also identified several shortcomings, including confusion regarding procedures, lack of personal interaction, and inadequate solutions. Therefore, improvements are needed in these aspects to ensure that tax consultant licensing services are in accordance with the desired public service principles. Managerial implications and suggestions for further research are also discussed to improve the quality and effectiveness of SIKOP as a tax consultant licensing service platform.

Abstract

False information is any information that is deliberately conveyed with the aim  of  misleading  or  manipulating  the recipient  of  the information.  This practice can occur under consumer protection law, including in advertising, selling products or services, and various other forms of communication. False information often goes against the principles of honesty, transparency and integrity in communication. The case that occurred in decision number 57/Pdt.G/2021/PN.Cbi was the sale of a villa or called Villa NE-21. The practice of buying and selling Villa NE-21 was carried out not according to procedures, namely providing false information to consumers, this is serious violations of consumer protection principles and applicable laws. This research adopts two main methods, namely normative juridical and analytical descriptive approaches. PPJB NE-21 which has been signed by the plaintiff and defendant can be said to be null and void due to false information carried out by the seller in the sale and purchase transaction of Villa NE-21. According to the author's analysis, the verdict read out by the panel of judges is in accordance with statutory provisions. In article 19 of the UUPK it is explained that business actors must be responsible for all forms of losses experienced by consumers, and the form of responsibility carried out by business actors can be converted into money.

Abstract

Informed choice memastikan bahwa pilihan kontrasepsi modern diputuskan perempuan setelah menerima informasi lengkap tentang metode kontrasepsi yang tersedia. Indeks informasi yang disebut Methods Information Index (MII) mengukur tiga elemen, yaitu efek samping masing-masing metode, kemana harus berobat jika efek samping muncul, dan perlu berganti ke kontrasepsi mana. Pemberian informasi lengkap tentang ketiga elemen MII merupakan pemenuhan etika dan hak-hak reproduksi perempuan. Penelitian ini menyajikan temuan rendahnya skoring MII di Indonesia, cermin dari tinggginya persentase perempuan pengguna kontrasepsi yang tidak menerima informasi lengkap dan faktor-faktor terkait. Sebanyak 45.607 dan 49.627 perempuan usia 15-49 tahun yang tercakup dalam Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2012 dan 2017 yang menjadi sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik regresi logistik yang memperlihatkan korelasi antara skoring MII dengan variabel bebas. Variabel bebas terdiri dari usia perempuan menikah 25 tahun ke atas, tingkat pendidikan menengah ke atas, akses pelayanan KB di bidan dan fasilitas kesehatan, serta pengguna metode IUD terkait dengan peluang lebih besar untuk menerima informasi MII lengkap. Proporsi perempuan penerima informasi MII lengkap adalah 24,60% (2012) dan 28,65% (2017). Lebih dari 70% perempuan pengguna kontrasepsi modern belum mendapatkan informasi MII lengkap. Perlu diupayakan agar program keluarga berencana memonitor peningkatan skoring indeks MII untuk memastikan perempuan pengguna kontrasepsi Indonesia terpenuhi haknya untuk mendapatkan informasi MII lengkap.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to collect empirical data on the impact of three critical variables in blockchain adoption – performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence – on the Intention to use blockchain in private higher education institutions in Indonesia. Using the UTAUT theoretical framework, this study aims to understand how these three factors influence the decision to adopt blockchain technology in accounting information systems. Methodology/approach: This study investigates how private universities in Indonesia perceive the possibility of implementing blockchain technology in the accounting system. By applying the UTAUT model, the study examined three aspects that may influence the willingness to adopt blockchain technology: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires to 136 leaders of finance departments in various private universities. Findings: The results show that performance and efficacy expectancy significantly influence the Intention to use blockchain technology in private universities. In contrast, social influence does not show a significant influence. Practical and Theoretical contribution/Originality: This research makes a practical contribution by highlighting the importance of perceived usefulness and ease of use in driving blockchain adoption in the higher education sector. From a theoretical perspective, this study extends the applicability of the UTAUT model in the context of private universities in Indonesia. Research Limitation: The Object of this research is only private higher education institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the crypto asset market presents significant challenges related to market transparency, this study examines the influence of intergenerational training, information technology adoption, and generational conflict management on employee engagement in a consulting services company in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 250 employees via a structured questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 25. The results reveal that all three factors significantly contribute to employee engagement, with intergenerational training being the strongest predictor, followed by information technology adoption and generational conflict management. The study highlights the importance of fostering collaboration across generations, leveraging technology for efficient workflows, and addressing generational conflicts to enhance workplace engagement. These findings offer actionable insights for organizations managing diverse workforces in similar contexts.
