Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, social media has become an inseparable part of students' daily lives, which ultimately gives rise to the information overload phenomenon. This research aims to determine the condition of information overload among IAI AL-AZIS students due to unhealthy use of social media, as well as its impact on their academic and personal aspects. The research method used is qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with 14 students at the Al-Zaytun Indonesian Islamic Institute from various study programs. The research results show that students experience information overload caused by unhealthy use of social media, such as difficulty in processing diverse and complex information, as well as confusion in selecting and assessing the truth of information. Apart from that, excessive use of social media has an impact on social media users themselves, both academically, personally, and socially. To minimize this impact, IAI AL-AZIS students apply strategies such as managing time and applying the principles of Islamic teachings, as in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 6, such as tabayyun, critical thinking, and being careful in spreading information whose truth is not yet known.

Abstract

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out whether or not implementing information transfer technique improves the reading comprehension of eleventh grade students. The researcher used a pre-experimental research design. The population of this study was the eleventh-grade students of SMAN 3 Palu, and the sample was the eleventh-grade social science IV which totaled 33 students. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique and adopted one group pre-test and post-test design. The pre-test is used to measure the students' reading comprehension before treatment, and the post-test is used to measure students' comprehension after treatment. The results of data analysis indicates that there is a significant difference of the students' achievement in pre-test and post-test. It shows that the mean score of the pre-test is 53.58 and the mean score of post-test is 82.27. The t-counted (15.76) is greater than the t-table (1.694) it means that the hypothesis of this research is accepted. In conclusion, implementing the information transfer technique improves reading comprehension of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 3 Palu.

Abstract

In 2020 COVID-19 cases have entered Indonesia causing public health problems and millions of deaths. To prevent transmission of COVID-19, an air purifier is needed whose function is to remove small droplets that can carry the virus. One of them is a medical device company located in Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to produce a design that can improve business processes in the health sector and achieve company goals. The current business process is not very optimal because it is still done conventionally and the existing system has not been integrated with other divisions. To achieve business goals, it is necessary to integrate business processes with information technology (IT) and technology development that will be proposed based on the design of information system architecture that will produce a blueprint and assisted by the open group architecture framework (TOGAF) framework which is very helpful in the process of analyzing company needs. In this research, data collection through interviews with directors and direct observation of health service companies. The results of this study are recommendations given to help health.

Abstract

STT NF is a private higher education institution that combines technological knowledge with Islamic values. To achieve this goal, STT NF has a program called student mentoring. Mentoring is led by a mentor and attended by several mentees. The mentoring evaluation process is conducted regularly to assess the progress of each mentee in each group. The evaluation results of each group are sent to BKPK of STT NF. The researcher intends to build an information system for student mentoring attendance using Laravel Framework. The design method used the extreme programming approach. Based on the discussions conducted, it determined that there are five mentoring activities dashboards to be created. There are two known user categories, namely admin and mentor. The program was tested using black box testing with 22 scenarios. Based on the testing, it was concluded that all categories function correctly
