Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the digital competence of Vocational High School (SMK) teachers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) and Central Java through Building Information Modeling (BIM) training. BIM is a crucial technology in the digital era, especially in the construction, architecture, and civil engineering sectors, as it facilitates better collaboration in project planning, design, and management. Through this training, teachers are expected to integrate BIM technology into the learning process to help students understand practical concepts relevant to the workforce. The results of this activity show an increase in teachers' competency in using BIM, as well as their readiness to apply technology-based learning methods in the classroom.

Abstract

Infectious diseases are a public health problem that can spread very quickly, especially in public places with high mobility and social interaction. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of educational and information media in terminals as an effort to prevent infectious diseases. The quasi-experimental research method without a control group to determine the effectiveness of animated videos and booklets as a means of educating passengers on the prevention of infectious diseases at the Pulogebang integrated terminal. The research sample was 80 passengers, the first group was given animated videos, and the second group was given booklets with the same material. Observations were made at that time and the results of the study showed an increase in knowledge in the Animated Video group by 1.02 and in the Booklet group by 1.44. There was an increase in attitudes in the Animated Video group by 2.40 and in the Booklet group by 1.26. The results of the analysis showed a significant difference in attitudes before and after the intervention with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion, animated video media is more effective in increasing passenger understanding and attitudes towards the prevention of infectious diseases than booklet media.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the landscape of the construction industry, and one of the most important innovations in recent years is the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM provides solutions to enhance efficiency in the design, construction, and management of construction projects. This research explores the impact of integrating BIM into the civil engineering curriculum on students' readiness to face the challenges of an increasingly digitized construction industry. Through a quantitative and qualitative approach, this research uses pre-test and post-test to measure changes in students' competencies in using BIM after participating in the training. Three groups of civil engineering students were tested to measure their level of understanding before and after the BIM training. The research results show a significantincrease in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores in all three groups, with an average improvement of 24.7%. These results indicate that the integration of BIM in education can be effective in enhancing students' professional readiness and bridgingthe gap between academic theory and the practical demands of the modern construction industry. This study suggests that BIM should be more widely integrated into the civil engineering curriculum to prepare graduates who are ready to compete in the era of construction industry digitalization.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of information technology in interactive learning among college students. Data was obtained through the questionnaire, showing that information technology in interactive learning is very effective. Most students responded positively to accessibility, flexibility, interactivity, engagement, self-support, and variety of learning materials. Expressly, 100% of students agreed with the questions about these benefits. However, there were differences of opinion on several aspects. Regarding the suitability of learning speed and style, only 72.7 % of students felt that this system was suitable for their needs, while 27.3% thought it needed more. In addition, 90.9 % of students stated the ease of use and effectiveness of interaction, but some were still dissatisfied with these aspects. The conclusion of this study shows that although most students feel positive benefits from using information technology in learning, several areas need improvement, such as adjusting the speed and style of knowledge and the system's ease of use. Recommendations from this study include increasing system flexibility, optimizing interface design, and providing additional support for students. These findings can be a reference for developers of interactive learning systems and educational institutions who want to integrate information technology into the learning process more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of operational audit and return accounting information system  on sales turnover in CV. Rhythm Houseware. Operational audits focus on evaluating operational efficiency and effectiveness, while return accounting information systems help in managing  accurate return data  . The research method used was a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires to 35 respondents working at CV. Rhythm Houseware. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression with the help of SPSS version 29. The results of the analysis show that the independent variables, operational audit and return accounting information system, have a strong correlation with the dependent variable, namely sales turnover, with a determination coefficient (R2) value of 0.826 or 82.6%. This indicates that 82.6% of the variation in sales turnover can be explained by this variable, while the remaining 17.4% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The results of the partial test (t-test) showed that the operational audit variable had a coefficient of 0.029 with a significance value of 0.816 which means it was not significant to sales turnover. On the other hand, the variable of the retun  accounting information system showed a coefficient of 0.761 with a significance of <0.001 which showed a significant positive influence on sales turnover. Thus, the return accounting information system  plays an important role in increasing sales turnover. The results of the simultaneous test (test f) showed that the two variables, operational audit and return accounting information system, together had a significant effect on sales turnover, with an F-calculated value of 75.745 and a significance of <0.001. Thus, operational audit does not have a significant influence on sales turnover, while the return accounting information system  has a significant effect. A  more effective implementation of the return accounting information system  can improve return data management, improve operational audits, and ultimately increase sales turnover in CV. Rhythm Houseware. The recommendation for the Company is to continue to strengthen these two factors to maintain the stability of sales turnover.

Abstract

In the article, the solution to the problem of determining logical operations that ensure cryptographic stability of the transformation of algorithms of cryptographic methods of information security is justified by the criterion of regularity - equal distribution"0" and "1" in the truth table. A logical operation with a truth table of uniform distribution of "0" and "1" and or blocks of bits has the property of cryptographic resistance.

Abstract

The expanding influence of digital information has shape many aspect of life, including parenting  How this  new sources of knowledge or information shape parents’ way of parenting and its impacts on children’s development need further studies. This study aims to comprehend the parenting information experience of young mothers in East Jakarta. The selection of East Jakarta is based on the fact that the region has the highest birth rate among the five regions in DKI Jakarta, and the occurrence of women marrying before the age of 19 is notably common. Social media is a prominent platform for acquiring information and disseminating knowledge. The method of this study employs a qualitative methodology that integrates a phenomenological approach. The employed data collection methods included semi-structured interviews, observation, and literature analysis. The results indicated that three layers influenced the parenting-related information experience of young women in East Jakarta: features, dimensions, and experiences. The information experience of young moms in East Jakarta is defined by their dissemination of acquired information, time management for information retrieval, and distinction between information necessitating upload and that which does not. Individuals, social media, and investigation are facets of the activities encompassed in information experience. The final layer is experience. This layer elucidates that social media serves as a platform for acquiring knowledge about parenting and its impact on the parenting practices employed. The three layers are interconnected. Each informant possesses a distinct information experience, suggesting that the information experience of young mothers on social media is highly intricate.
