Abstract

Clinical documents that include lab results, discharge summaries, and radiology reports of patients are generally used by doctors for diagnosis and treatment. However, with the popularization of AI in healthcare, clinical documents are also widely used by researchers for disease diagnosis, prediction, and developing schemes for quality healthcare delivery. Though huge volumes of clinical documents are produced in various hospitals every day, they are not shared with researchers for study purposes due to the sensitive nature of health records. Before sharing these documents, they must be de-identified, or the protected health information (PHI) should be removed for the purpose of preserving the patient's privacy. If the documents are stored digitally, this PHI can be easily identified and removed, but finding and extracting PHI from old clinical documents that are scanned and stored as images or other formats is quite a daunting task for which machine learning models have to be trained with a large number of such images. This work introduces a novel combination of deep learning and pattern matching algorithms for the efficient de-identification of scanned clinical documents, distinguishing it from previous methods, which can primarily work only on text documents and not on scanned clinical documents or images. Thus, a comprehensive de-identification technique for automatically extracting protected health information (PHI) from scanned images of clinical documents is proposed. For experimental purposes, we created a synthetic dataset of 700 clinical document images obtained from various patients across multiple hospitals. The de-identification framework comprises two phases: (1) Training of YoloV3- Document Layout Analysis (Yolo V3-DLA) which is a Deep learning model to segment the various regions in the clinical document. (2) Identifying regions containing PHI through pattern-matching techniques and deleting or anonymizing the information in those regions. The proposed method was implemented to identify regions based on content structure, facilitating the de-identification of PHI regions and achieving an F1 score of 0.97. This system can be readily adapted to accommodate any form of clinical document.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate strategies and methods to enhance teachers' innovative behavior through a structural equation modeling analysis of the causal relationships between teachers' innovative behavior and organizational culture, ICT literacy, self-efficacy, and work motivation, as input and recommendations in the field of education. This quantitative research employed path analysis using Smart-PLS, followed by SITOREM analysis. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using F-test, t-test, and multicollinearity test. The sample in this study consisted of 153 English teachers in vocational high schools in Depok City, West Java Province. The results showed that innovative behavior was influenced by organizational culture and ICT literacy, but not by self-efficacy and work motivation. Meanwhile, work motivation was influenced by organizational culture and self-efficacy, but not by ICT literacy. It is important for teachers to have high self-efficacy and good ICT literacy skills, work in an environment with a supportive organizational culture, and have high work motivation. Improving teachers' innovative behavior is an ongoing process that requires commitment and effort from various parties. Therefore, appropriate strategies and methods in the implementation of learning are expected to create a conducive learning and teaching environment so that teachers can be more innovative and effective, and also contribute to improving the quality of learning

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a priority for SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), including BPRBCo (Bank Perekonomian Rakyat), to remain competitive amidst rapid technological developments. Information security is a critical aspect in this process, which requires a systematic and standardized approach. Previous research emphasizes the importance of ambidextrous (hybrid traditional and agile) information security management for large-scale banks as one of the seven key mechanisms for successful digital transformation, namely data management and information security. However, this approach has not proven effective for small-scale banks such as BPRs. This research aims to design an information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO 27001:2022, with a focus on the readiness of BPRBCo SME in facing digital transformation. This research adopts the five stages of Design Science Research (DSR), namely problem identification, requirement specification, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, then analyzed using the ISO 27001:2022 SMKI framework. After risk analysis and mapping against previous study references, PDCA and Annex controls were found to be prioritized for BPRBCo. The results of this study developed an IMS framework specifically designed to meet the needs of SMEs, with a focus on the SME Focus Area. The DSR method enables the creation of practical solutions, based on an iterative cycle that combines theory and practice to produce optimal results. The resulting ISMS framework is then evaluated to assess the extent to which this design affects BPRBCo's readiness to obtain ISO 27001:2022 certification, as well as its impact on improving information security during the digital transformation process. This research also provides implementation recommendations by integrating three main aspects: people, process, and technology.

Abstract

From simple analytical cost accounting, it has now reached an integrated system to meet the needs of managers regarding the measurement of enterprise performance and the need to make the best decisions. The field of using costs in decision-making has become multifunctional and has expanded into all branches of activity, including non-productive ones. The purpose of this research is to see how motivated are the concerns of research in the academic world related to the field of costs and their usefulness in decision-making based on scientometric analysis with the help of two software tools, namely OpenAlex and VoSviewer. From the scientometric analysis undertaken, the conclusion emerges that research in the field of the use of costs in decision-making developed rapidly after 2014, with the number of journals in the economic field doubling between 2015-2024. However, there is an interconnection between the terms of one cluster and the terms of another cluster, which demonstrates the fact that the issue of costs and decisions cannot be reduced only to the field of management accounting, it requires a holistic vision and cooperation between various fields, the basis remaining however, the level of the economic field.
