Abstract

Objective: The registration system at Prima Husada Hospital has used electronics, patients can register online through the website or whatsapp at Prima Husada Malang Hospital. Methods: The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which is a method used by researchers to find knowledge or theories about research at a certain time. research with a qualitative approach using secondary data collection and observation Results: The results of this study indicate that services at the outpatient registration site are in accordance with the standard procedure policies that exist at the registration site at the hospital. In general, facilities at outpatient registration services have met the needs of registration services at the hospital. The officers in carrying out the activities and the cohesiveness given by the head of medical records to co-workers at the registration site are good enough so that the registration activities can take place properly and in accordance with the established procedures. Conclusion:a. The outpatient registration service procedure at Prima Husada Malang Hospital already has a flowchart and requirements for patients.b. Implementation of the Outpatient Registration Procedure at Prima Husada Malang Hospital has been used in accordance with hospital policies.c. Supporting facilities for outpatient registration services at Prima Husada Malang Hospital have covered the needs at the TPPRJ place.d. There are nine human resources officers at the outpatient registration site at Prima Husada Hospital Malang who are at the service station at the registration position so that there is no shortage of manpower and the service runs stably and effectively

Abstract

Management of medical records in hospitals is to support the achievement of orderly administration in order to achieve hospital goals, namely improving the quality of health services in hospitals. One important element to support effectiveness and efficiency in managing medical records is the human resources aspect. The phenomenon that exists in an institution is not only a lack of workforce, but there can also be a buildup of staff in one installation without clear work. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to calculate the workforce requirements in an agency by calculating the existing workload. One of the obstacles to registration is the limited number of personnel. Based on a survey, the number of employees in the medical records installation is 25 people. Where the available working time is 281 days/year or 118,200 minutes/year. The aim of this research is to find out more clearly how to calculate workforce needs using the workload indicator staffing need (WISN) method at the medical records installation at the COVID 19 referral hospital RSIA Rumkitban 05.08.02 Malang. This type of research is a quantitative research approach with a descriptive study design. The results of research using the WISN method estimate that 2 medical records personnel in the TPPRI section are needed, and human resources are also needed to change shifts. There is a shortage of medical records personnel in the TPPRI section at RSIA Rumkitban because from the calculation results an additional 2 people are needed and currently only 2 medical records personnel are available.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis is one of the top ten causes of death in the world, and is a serious public health problem in Indonesia. Malang City is one of the regions in Indonesia with a high incidence of TB. Based on data from the Malang City Health Office in 2023, there are 2,500 new TB cases with a death rate of 200 people. This shows that TB is still a public health problem that needs serious attention in Malang City. Objective: what is to be achieved in this study in order to find out the implementation and process of documenting the reporting of tuberculosis statistical data at the first level health service facility in the city of Malang. Research method: the research method uses qualitative descriptive with one respondent in each Health Service Facility that has been interviewed directly. Results: The results of this study refer to the implementation and process of documenting the reporting of tuberculosis statistical data at the first level of service facilities in Malang City. Conclusion: Documentation of TB statistical data reporting at FKTP Malang City is still not optimal. Efforts need to be made to improve the documentation of TB statistical data reporting at the Malang City FKTP.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the procedures for the release of medical records information to third parties at Wava Husada Hospital, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations to maintain the security and confidentiality of patient data. The research method used is a qualitative approach, including direct observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of relevant documents. The results show that the procedure for releasing medical record information involves several important steps, including filling out an application form, submitting photocopies of official identification, and, if necessary, a notarized power of attorney. This process involves several related parties, such as the Medical Records Department, doctors or medical personnel, and ward staff working in inpatient or outpatient units. The main purposes for third-party requests for medical records information include insurance claims, transfer of treatment to ensure continuity of care, and administrative or consultation needs.

Abstract

Medical records are a hospital service that stores patient identity data and plays a role in making medical decisions. Analysis of the workload of medical records officers is needed to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in implementation. This study aims to identify and evaluate the workload of medical records officers at RSUD dr. R. Soedarsono Pasuruan using the Health Workload Analysis (ABK-KES) method. This study is quantitative descriptive in nature with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document review. Research findings reveal that there is inequality in the distribution of workload in various medical records units, which can impact the quality of hospital services. Therefore, researchers suggest that the workforce with D3 and D4 qualifications still needs to be increased to support higher quality services and it is necessary to optimize the number of workers and make the workload distribution more balanced. Hospital management is also advised to recruit D3 and D4 staff to be more competent in medical record management and training to increase the effectiveness of services at the hospital. Optimizing the workforce by ABK-KES, medical services are expected to operate more effectively so a strategy for optimizing the number and distribution of the workforce is needed to increase service efficiency.

Abstract

Klaim BPJS merupakan proses pengajuan biaya perawatan medis yang telah diberikan kepada pasien yang terdaftar sebagai peserta BPJS. Pada proses pengajuan klaim, terdapat berkas klaim dengan status layak dan berkas klaim dengan status tidak layak (pending claim). Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis penyebab pending klaim BPJS rawat inap dengan fokus pada empat faktor utama, yaitu man, method, material, dan machine. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi di Rumah Sakit X yang bekerja sama dengan BPJS. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analysis content. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor man, seperti kurangnya SDM dan tingginya beban kerja yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pending claim. Selain itu, ketidaklengkapan dokumen seperti laporan operasi dan hasil pemeriksaan penunjang serta ketidaktepatan dalam pengkodean menjadi permasalahan yang cukup penting dalam pending claim karena hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan penundaan dalam penyelesaian klaim dan berpotensi merugikan rumah sakit. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah beban kerja yang tinggi dan kekurangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Rumah Sakit X menyebabkan penundaan klaim rawat inap meskipun SOP yang ada telah diterapkan dengan baik. Ketidaklengkapan dokumen dan ketidaktepatan pengkodean menunjukkan perlunya perbaikan dalam sistem pengumpulan dan verifikasi dokumen untuk memastikan akurasi berkas. Abstract

Pelayanan pendaftaran online rawat jalan adalah pendaftaran tidak langsung yang menggunakan sistem web yang memungkinkan pasien untuk menerima informasi tentang poliklinik, jadwal, waktu latihan, dan nomor antrian dari dokter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa deskripsi layanan pendaftaran online untuk pasien rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Bhirawa Bhakti Malang. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah pendaftaran online dan sistem pendaftaran online, dan bagaimana hambatan hambatan yang dapat timbul dari hambatan selama proses pendaftaran diterima dan dipahami. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan pengamatan langsung di Rumah Sakit Bhirawa Bhakti Malang. Prosedur pendaftaran online dan sistem pendaftaran online dianalisis untuk mengenali tingkat efektivitas pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pendaftaran online untuk pasien dipahami dan dipahami. Rumah Sakit Bhirawa Bhakti Malang juga menawarkan layanan pelanggan untuk membantu pasien yang memiliki masalah dengan proses pendaftaran atau memiliki pertanyaan tentang pendaftaran online. Namun, ada beberapa hambatan untuk pendaftaran online. Singkatnya, pendaftaran online di Rumah Sakit Bhirawa Bhakti Malang sudah cukup, tetapi masih ada beberapa faktor yang dapat menghambat proses yang lancar, terutama untuk pasien yang paham.

Abstract

In 2020 to 2022 there was a very high increase in outpatient visits at the Hospital of Prima Husada. In 2020 there are 22737 visits with 17 services, 2020 reached 60417 visits with 20 services, until 2021 increased again to 100892 visits with 21 services. Thus the interest of patients using Prima HusadaHospital each year has increased.This study aims to analyze the factors that influence patients in utilizing outpatient services at Hospital of Prima Husada, which consists of hospital facility variables, physician services, nursing service or midwife, service fee, ease of information, and service utilization decisions.This research type is quantitative research with Cross Sectional design. Sampling technique with Stratified Random Sampling. The number of samples in this study is 100 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed by SPSS with Chi-Square statistic test. Chi-Square analysis showed that there were correlation between hospital facility variable (p=0,004), physician service (p=0,033), nurse service or midwife (p=0,011), ease of information (p=0,001) with service utilization decision.The advice given is to maintain and provide the best service, should the hospital continue to make improvements on the availability of facilities, type, or variety of health services more complete.

Abstract

Telemedicine, the use of digital technology and communication for remote healthcare services, has seen rapid development and offers potential improvements in accessibility and efficiency in healthcare services. However, the adoption and implementation of telemedicine also face various challenges, including data privacy and security, technological infrastructure readiness, and legal and regulatory barriers. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction in the use of telemedicine based on existing scientific evidence. This study employs a systematic review methodology of related telemedicine studies. The results of this review are summarized and form the basis for further discussion about the effectiveness of telemedicine, challenges in its implementation, and its implications for the healthcare sector and further research. Recommendations are provided based on the findings of this review for future research or practice focusing on enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction in the use of telemedicine and overcoming challenges in its implementation.

Abstract

In carrying out the process of processing health data and information, Medical Recorder and Health Information (PMIK) personnel are needed who have the ability to provide services to patients. The emergence of the Minister of Health Regulation Number 24 of 2022 concerning electronic medical records requires every health care facility to run electronic medical records, this makes the workload owned by PMIK reduced. So it is necessary to analyze the challenges of PMIK workload in facing the RME era. The method used is qualitative with a normative law study approach. The approach used for data collection is based on documentation studies through regulations, journals, and news. The tool used for data collection is a notebook. Data processing techniques using secondary data. In carrying out their duties, many Medical Recorders and Health Information (PMIK) still do not understand the use of existing systems properly, this causes delays in the processing of medical data. The abilities possessed by PMIK personnel in the RME era greatly affect the patient data processing process so that it is necessary to conduct training and skill development related to the correct use of the RME system in order to reduce the workload faced by officers.
