Abstract

The library transaction process at SDN 2 Cerme Kidul is carried out by utilizing data from this web-based application. Library operations, including membership procedures, borrowing, and returning books, are managed through this application. This website is designed to handle these processes while supporting master data management, assisting library book collection management, facilitating book searches through catalogs, and presenting reports related to book collections. The creation of this website uses the waterfall system development method, which involves data collection through interviews, observations, and literature studies. Analysis is carried out on aspects of users, technology, needs, data, systems, information, performance, and system design using flowcharting diagrams. Website development utilizes the PHP programming language, MySQL database, Apache local server, and Sublime Text editor. For testing, black box testing and beta testing methods are used. This library application provides many benefits, such as helping librarians improve work efficiency, speeding up the process of borrowing and returning books, calculating fines faster, and making it easier for library users to access information related to the library.

Abstract

The Kampung Blekok Ecotourism Beach in Situbondo, which features a mangrove ecosystem with key species such as Sonneratia alba and Avicennia marina, is surrounded by various human and natural activities, making it vulnerable to heavy metal pollution such as zinc (Zn). Mangroves play a crucial role in coping with this contamination. The purposes of this study were analyzing the concentration of heavy metal Zn found in the sediment and roots of the mangroves Sonneratia alba and Avicennia marina, and the distribution of heavy metal Zn in the mangrove sediments of Sonneratia alba and Avicennia marina, as well assessing the ability of the mangrove roots of Sonneratia alba and Avicennia marina in accumulating heavy metal Zn. This research used a survey method. The results indicated that the concentration of heavy metal Zn in the mangrove sediment of Sonneratia alba ranges between 0.7431-0.8412 ppm, while in the roots of Sonneratia alba, it ranges between 0.5472-0.7255 ppm. The concentration of heavy metal Zn in the sediment of Avicennia marina ranges between 0.7699-0.8782 ppm, while in the roots of Avicennia marina, it ranges between 0.5884-0.7194 ppm. According to the standards issued by NOAA, ANZECC, and USEPA, the concentration of heavy metal Zn in the sediment is still considered safe because it does not exceed the established quality standards. The Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) or absorption capacity of the mangrove roots of Sonneratia alba ranges between 0.724-0.8624 ppm, while for Avicennia marina, it ranges between 0.7309-0.8407 ppm. The BCF values in both mangroves indicated that both were excluders. Statistical tests show that there was no significant difference between the abilities of the two types of mangroves to accumulate heavy metal Zn. The map results based on IDW interpolation on the sediment of Sonneratia alba are shown with a dark gradient indicating the highest Zn concentration at stations 5 and 6, while the lightest gradient indicating the lowest concentration at station 1. The distribution of heavy metal Zn concentration in the mangrove sediment of Avicennia marina is shown with a dark gradient at station 6 and a light gradient at station 2.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of system quality and information quality on using the community health center management information system at the UPT Tanggunggunung Community Health Center. In the context of primary health services in Indonesia, community health centers have a crucial role, so the effective implementation and use of campus are essential. System quality and information quality are two key factors that are believed to influence the level of use of community health center management information systems. The research method used is quantitative with explanatory research. The subjects of this research were 54 employees of the Tanggungunung Community Health Center with a sampling technique using saturated samples. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to the Tanggunggunung Community Health Center employees—data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling-Generalized Structured Component Analysis (SEM-GSCA). The research results show that system quality has a significant favorable influence on node usage. This indicates that the better the quality of the system which includes aspects such as reliability, responsiveness, and ease of use, the higher the level of use of the Simpus by community health center employees. In addition, information quality was found not to have a significant positive influence on node usage. This means that the accurate, relevant, and timely information provided by Simpus still does not increase the user's tendency to utilize the system.

Abstract

Leveraging quality models to establish a robust digital ecosystem is imperative in the Industry 4.0 era. Existing Academic Information System (AIS) software often lacks comprehensive adoption of quality models as core system instruments. As a critical component of the education sector's digital transformation, AIS represents a vital ecosystem for facilitating efficiency and innovation in this industrial era. This study addresses these gaps by implementing a comprehensive quality framework for AIS, integrating cloud computing for enhanced security and privacy, and employing the Web-Based Application Quality Model (WBAQM) as the primary development framework. The research also utilizes ISO 9126 and ISO/IEC 25010 quality models to establish usability and security standards, while the Academic Information System Quality Instrument (AISQI) is introduced to evaluate system performance. Additionally, the COBIT framework is applied to audit and enhance AIS functionality, ensuring alignment with academic and operational needs. The findings demonstrate that adopting quality models significantly improves the reliability, usability, and security of AIS software, delivering a system that aligns with both functional requirements and user expectations. This research contributes to the digital transformation of educational institutions in Indonesia by providing a scalable and efficient AIS framework. By aligning with Industry 4.0 principles, the proposed model ensures quality assurance and fosters innovation, enabling educational institutions to adapt to evolving technological demands and improve overall institutional performance.

Abstract

Digitalization in local tourism development is essential as it significantly impacts the growth and sustainability of Tourism Villages. This study aims to develop a website-based Tourism Management Information System to support sustainable tourism development in Tourism Villages in Maluku. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was utilized to build the system, consisting of four stages: Requirement Planning, User Design (Iterative: prototype, testing, and refinement), Construction, and Cutover. The iterative process during the User Design stage accelerated system development by continuously incorporating user feedback and needs. System testing employed usability testing during the User Design phase and black-box testing during the Construction phase. The results of this study demonstrate that the developed system successfully fulfills user requirements, enhancing the management and accessibility of Tourism Villages. Key features include tour package selection and an online reservation system, simplifying travel arrangements for visitors. This system significantly impacts tourism development by improving operational efficiency, promoting local attractions, and fostering economic growth in Tourism Villages. Furthermore, the system contributes to the sustainability of tourism by encouraging digital transformation, increasing visitor engagement, and supporting local communities through enhanced tourism services.

Abstract

This study addresses a critical gap in Health Information Management (HIM) education by exploring the relationship between English proficiency and basic programming learning outcomes, an area that has been underexplored despite the English-based nature of programming languages. Given that HIM professionals are increasingly expected to possess programming skills, understanding the role of English ability in this context is essential. A correlational research design was employed to examine this relationship, with statistical analysis including descriptive computations (mean, mode, median, variance, and standard deviation). Normality tests revealed non-normal data (p = 0.018), while linearity was confirmed (p = 0.154). The Spearman’s Rho correlation test indicated no significant correlation between English ability and basic programming learning outcomes (p = 0.174). Although no direct correlation was found, the study highlights the pivotal role that English still plays in programming education, particularly through English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses, which remain essential in vocational higher education. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the factors influencing programming education in HIM programs, offering valuable insights for curriculum development and teaching strategies. The results suggest that while English proficiency may not directly impact programming success, its integration into the curriculum is still important for fostering digital competence. In a broader context, this study has implications for refining HIM education, enhancing pedagogical approaches, and strengthening student support services, ultimately contributing to the development of healthcare professionals who are both digitally literate and linguistically adept.
