Abstract

ABSTRACT MSMEs play an important role in the local economy, but often face obstacles in financial management, marketing, and product legality. To overcome this, this service program was implemented with a focus on empowering MSMEs in Sukaratu Village through an integrated strategy. The training and mentoring provided covers three main areas: (1) financial recording with the SIAPIK application, (2) digital marketing using social media such as Instagram, and (3) halal certification assistance to improve product legality. The program also includes the creation of a website to monitor the development of MSMEs online. As a result of the activities, MSMEs showed improvements in the ability to record finances and make reports accurately, utilize social media for wider marketing, and prepare for halal certification. Constraints such as limited initial knowledge and infrastructure were overcome through intensive training and direct mentoring. The program also produced outputs in the form of scientific publications, training modules, and a web-based monitoring system to ensure program sustainability. Through this program, MSMEs are better prepared to face market challenges and have a stronger foundation to develop sustainably. Keywords: MSMEs, Financial Reporting, SIAPIK, Halal Certification, Social Media Marketing

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and Internal Control (PI) on company performance, with a case study of BUMN Companies in East Java. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, as well as classical assumption tests to ensure the validity and reliability of the model. The results showed that AIS has a positive and significant effect on company performance, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.035 (<0.05). AIS supports operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision making, thus contributing directly to performance improvement. In contrast, PI has no significant effect on company performance, with a significance value of 0.952 (>0.05). This indicates that the effectiveness of internal control may be limited by other variables that are more dominant, or the implementation is not yet optimal.

Abstract

Accountability in village fund management remains a critical challenge in Indonesia, where issues such as mismanagement and lack of transparency persist. This study aims to explore the impact of competence, community participation, and the use of information technology on the accountability of village fund management, particularly examining whether information technology moderates these relationships. The research population includes village officials, the village consultative committee, and district apparatus in Karangawen District, Demak Regency. Using purposive sampling, 108 respondents were selected to provide primary data, which were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that competence and community participation significantly influence the accountability of village fund management. Competence improves decision-making and administrative transparency, while participation plays the most significant role by fostering accountability through inclusive planning and evaluation processes. Although the use of information technology positively affects accountability by enhancing transparency and accuracy in reporting, it does not act as a moderating variable in the relationship between competence or participation and accountability. This finding highlights the need for improved infrastructure, training, and tailored technological solutions for rural settings. The practical implications of this study include the importance of enhancing training programs to improve the competence of village officials, encouraging community participation through effective socialization, and optimizing the use of information technology. By addressing these factors, this research contributes to strengthening village fund governance and preventing irregularities in fund management in Indonesia.
