Abstract

Login security to access WEB-based applications, in the form of security using OTP (One Time Password) which is generated using Hash MD5 and generates a code sent via SMS. The system will take the email field, password, and phone number. The result of the hash function will produce a 32-digit hexadecimal number. Furthermore, four digits of the hexadecimal number are taken. The four numbers are sent as OTP with Zenziva's Cloud SMS Gateway service and the OTP code will be temporarily stored in the database. The OTP sent to the user will be matched with the one stored in the database table to check its validity. If the OTP sent with the one stored in the table matches, then the user can access the WEB-based application. The OTP generated is for security authentication of the WEB user account after logging in by entering the username and password. Users who enter the wrong OTP 3 times will be blocked, the restriction is to narrow the hackers to intercept and infiltrate.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has led to new forms of crime, one of which is revenge porn. This crime involves the non-consensual distribution of intimate content, often carried out as retaliation after a failed relationship. Although Indonesian law has addressed this issue, victim protection remains insufficient and fragmented. This research aims to analyze the criminal liability of perpetrators and the legal protection for revenge porn victims in Indonesia under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law and the Sexual Violence Crime Law. The study employs a normative juridical method with a case study approach. Findings indicate that while the Electronic Information and Transactions Law can criminalize perpetrators, it falls short in addressing victims' psychological and social harm. The Sexual Violence Crime Law provides more comprehensive protection, including restitution and recovery services. However, implementation faces challenges such as societal stigma and a lack of gender-sensitive law enforcement. Thus, an integrated approach involving regulation, law enforcement, and public education is crucial to ensure holistic victim protection. In conclusion, the state must strengthen victim-centered legal implementation and consider immaterial impacts, while promoting prevention through legal reform and public awareness.

Abstract

Abstract:  This research develops a web-based system to detect the similarity of thesis titles using the Modified Cosine Similarity method and TF-IDF weighting. This system helps students in evaluating the similarity of titles automatically, so as to avoid plagiarism and increase the originality of research. The process used includes text preprocessing (case folding, tokenizing, stopword removal, stemming), TF-IDF calculation for word weighting, and the use of Modified Cosine Similarity to measure the level of similarity between titles. The test results show that the system is able to identify the similarity of titles with a 100% recall rate, where titles with >70% similarity need to be revised, 31%-70% similarity can be clarified by adding words, and ≤30% similarity is potentially accepted as an original title. With this implementation, it is expected that students can more easily determine a thesis title that is unique and in accordance with academic standards.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem berbasis web untuk mendeteksi kemiripan judul skripsi menggunakan metode Modified Cosine Similarity dan pembobotan TF-IDF. Abstract

The proliferation of social media platforms in Indonesia has intensified the challenges of combating information warfare and disinformation, posing significant risks to public trust, democratic stability, and national security. This study explores legal approaches to addressing these issues, focusing on the strengths, limitations, and enforcement challenges of Indonesia's regulatory framework, particularly the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). Using a qualitative design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with five key informants, including legal experts, policymakers, digital media analysts, and civil society representatives. The findings reveal that while the UU ITE provides a foundational legal structure, its effectiveness is hindered by ambiguous provisions, resource constraints, and limited collaboration with social media platforms. Recommendations include revising the UU ITE, enhancing capacity building for enforcement agencies, fostering international cooperation, and promoting public digital literacy. These insights contribute to a nuanced understanding of Indonesia's efforts to balance freedom of expression with the need for regulation in the digital era.

Abstract

Performance appraisal of neighborhood heads at the urban village level is often done manually and subjectively, resulting in inaccuracies and unfairness in the evaluation process. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Neighborhood Head Performance Assessment Information System in Medan Labuhan Subdistrict that integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system was built using the Waterfall method approach and developed with Flutter and Pocketbase technology. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using thematic analysis techniques and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results show that the system is able to manage criteria data, weighting, candidates, and assessment reports in real-time and efficiently. The system not only improves the objectivity of the assessment, but also supports transparency and community participation in the local governance process. Some suggestions for further development include optimizing backend performance, adding offline mode, and notification features.
