Abstract

Financial management in GKII Muara Asa Church has traditionally been conducted manually using physical books and spreadsheets, making it prone to recording errors, reporting delays, and lack of transparency for church members. To address these issues, a web-based Financial Information System (FIS) website was developed to facilitate transaction input, digital data storage, real-time financial reporting, and information access for members. The system was built using the Waterfall model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. Technologies used include Laravel as the backend, MySQL for database management, and Bootstrap for frontend development. Functional testing showed that all core features such as login, transaction input, data search, and backup operate as expected with an average response time under 2 seconds. The implementation proves that the system successfully improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in church financial management.

Abstract

This study presents the development of a web-based job vacancy portal aimed at streamlining employment information access for job seekers and employers. Using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, the system was built iteratively with frequent stakeholder feedback to ensure agility and adaptability. The research involved requirement gathering through interviews and observations, followed by designing, coding, and testing cycles. The system features user registration, job posting, search functionalities, and admin management. The results indicate that XP enhanced collaboration, reduced development risks, and delivered a system that meets user needs effectively.

Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the use of Mutual Information (MI) for feature selection in intrusion detection, focusing on the CICIDS 2017 dataset. Given the complexity and large volume of data in intrusion detection systems, this research aims to identify the most informative features. The methodology includes data preprocessing, MI calculation, and feature selection based on the highest MI values. The analysis results indicate that using MI contributes to improving model accuracy and reducing the false positive rate. These findings underscore the importance of feature selection in enhancing the effectiveness of intrusion detection systems and provide significant contributions to developing more efficient cybersecurity strategies. Keyword: IDS, Mutual Information, CICIDS2017, Feature selection Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan Mutual Information (MI) untuk seleksi fitur dalam deteksi intrusi, dengan fokus pada dataset CICIDS 2017. Mengingat kompleksitas dan volume data yang besar dalam sistem deteksi intrusi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fitur-fitur yang paling informatif. Metodologi yang diterapkan mencakup preprocessing data, perhitungan MI, dan seleksi fitur berdasarkan nilai MI tertinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan MI berkontribusi pada peningkatan akurasi model serta pengurangan tingkat false positive. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya seleksi fitur dalam meningkatkan efektivitas sistem deteksi intrusi dan memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan strategi keamanan siber yang lebih efisien. Kata kunci: IDS, Mutual Information, CICIDS2017, Seleksi fitur

Abstract

Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS) memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pariwisata, namun pengelolaan reservasi destinasi wisata masih dilakukan secara manual dan tidak terintegrasi. Kondisi ini menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti sulitnya akses informasi, ketidakpastian ketersediaan tempat, serta risiko kesalahan dalam pencatatan. Kajian ini mengusulkan pengembangan platform digital terintegrasi yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi proses reservasi tempat wisata secara daring di wilayah Kabupaten TTS. Sistem ini menawarkan layanan informasi secara real-time terkait ketersediaan tempat, fasilitas, dan paket wisata yang dapat diakses. Selain itu, sistem juga mendukung pengelola dalam memantau kapasitas kunjungan dan mencegah terjadinya overbooking. Diharapkan, implementasi sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pengelolaan destinasi wisata, sekaligus memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi para pengunjung. Adapun ruang lingkup penelitian ini terbatas pada tempat wisata di wilayah Kabupaten TTS dan hanya berfokus pada reservasi tiket masuk serta aktivitas tertentu. Sebagai luaran utama, penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah platform berbasis web yang dapat dimanfaatkan baik oleh pengunjung maupun pengelola tempat wisata sebagai solusi digital yang praktis dan efektif. Kontribusi ilmiah dari penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan sistem reservasi real-time yang terintegrasi serta adopsi model pengembangan Waterfall dalam konteks pengelolaan pariwisata daerah. Sistem diuji secara fungsional dan dinilai menggunakan pengukuran waktu respons rata-rata (0,8 detik) dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna (87% puas berdasarkan survei sederhana terhadap 30 pengguna awal). South Central Timor Regency (TTS) has great potential in the tourism sector, but destination reservations are still managed manually and are not integrated. This situation creates various obstacles, such as difficulty in accessing information, uncertainty regarding availability, and the risk of errors in recording. This study proposes the development of an integrated digital platform designed to facilitate the online reservation process for tourist attractions in the TTS Regency. This system offers real-time information services regarding availability, facilities, and tour packages that can be accessed. Additionally, the system supports managers in monitoring visitor capacity and preventing overbooking. It is hoped that the implementation of this system will improve the efficiency and quality of tourist destination management while providing a better experience for visitors. The scope of this research is limited to tourist attractions in the TTS Regency area and focuses solely on ticket reservations and specific activities. As the main output, this research produces a web-based platform that can be utilized by both visitors and tourist attraction managers as a practical and effective digital solution. The scientific contribution of this research lies in the application of an integrated real-time reservation system and the adoption of the Waterfall development model in the context of regional tourism management. The system was functionally tested and evaluated using average response time measurements (0.8 seconds) and user satisfaction levels (87% satisfied based on a simple survey of 30 initial users).

Abstract

Public information disclosure and service quality are factors that can increase public satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of public information disclosure and service quality on public satisfaction at the Mandala Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas) in Medan City. A sample of 45 respondents was taken using a saturated sampling technique or population sample. The method used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS 23 software, obtaining a regression of Y = 2.709 + 0.970 + 0.102 + . Based on these results, it can be concluded that public information disclosure and service quality have a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction at the Mandala Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas) in Medan City.

Abstract

Kepribadian adalah aspek yang penting diketahui setiap orang agar dapat mengenal diri sendiri maupun orang lain dengan lebih baik. Salah satu model yang telah diakui secara internasional dan digunakan secara luas untuk mengetahui aspek kepribadian adalah tes kepribadian dengan model Big Five Personality atau model OCEAN. Model ini mengklasifikasikan kepribadian menjadi lima kategori yaitu Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, dan Neurocitism. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu bagi responden dan pihak perusahaan yang menerapkan tes kepribadian model OCEAN maka dibuat suatu sistem klasifikasi teks dengan menggunakan metode Multinomial Naïve Bayes dan seleksi fitur Information Gain. Pada skenario pengujian yang diterapkan, penggunaan seleksi fitur menghasilkan akurasi yang lebih baik dibanding tanpa menggunakan seleksi fitur. Akurasi tertinggi yang dihasilkan tanpa seleksi fitur yaitu sebesar 55,09%, sedangkan akurasi tertinggi yang dihasilkan menggunakan menggunakan seleksi fitur Information Gain yaitu sebesar 80,71% pada proporsi fitur 25%. Sehingga penggunaan seleksi fitur Information Gain berdampak positif pada hasil akurasi.

Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan smartphone di Indonesia turut mendorong meningkatnya penyebaran malware pada perangkat Android. Serangan melalui file APK berbahaya sering kali menargetkan pengguna awam, sehingga dibutuhkan metode deteksi yang andal dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja algoritma XGBoost dalam mendeteksi Android malware, serta menganalisis pengaruh seleksi fitur menggunakan Mutual Information terhadap akurasi model. Dataset yang digunakan adalah TUNADROMD, yang terdiri dari 241 fitur yang mencerminkan permission dan API yang digunakan aplikasi. Algoritma XGBoost diterapkan secara manual untuk memahami proses klasifikasinya, sedangkan hasilnya dibandingkan dengan model boosting lainnya seperti AdaBoost dan LightGBM. Pengujian dilakukan dengan jumlah fitur yang bervariasi untuk melihat pengaruh seleksi fitur terhadap performa model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seleksi fitur mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi model secara signifikan, dan XGBoost memberikan performa yang kompetitif dibandingkan model lainnya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem deteksi malware yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong perusahaan ritel untuk mengembangkan platform e-commerce, termasuk PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya dengan aplikasi Alfagift. Meskipun banyak diunduh, tidak semua pengguna melanjutkan penggunaan secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara Confirmation, System Quality, dan Information Quality terhadap Continuance Intention pengguna Alfagift menggunakan Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) dan DeLone & McLean IS Success Model. Penelitian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 61 responden pengguna Alfagift dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hanya System Quality yang memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap Continuance Intention (r = 0.270, p < 0.05), sedangkan Confirmation (r = 0.184, p > 0.05) dan Information Quality (r = 0.157, p > 0.05) tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa pengembang aplikasi perlu memprioritaskan peningkatan kualitas sistem untuk menjaga keberlanjutan penggunaan aplikasi.

Abstract

Research Aims: This study evaluates journals discussing the impact of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) on Business Performance to derive useful lessons for addressing future challenges.Design/Methodology/Approach: Using a review framework adapted from Hoque (2014), this study analyzes 58 journals selected through a keyword search ("Accounting," "Information," "System," and "Business Performance"). Themes were identified, and findings are discussed based on the origin of studies and their implications.Research Findings: Four key themes emerged: (1) Innovation Performance – highlighting the role of strategies in enhancing productivity and growth; (2) Innovation Capability – focusing on integrating knowledge and resources for better innovation; (3) Government Regulation – examining financial support and training for business growth; and (4) Competitive Advantage – emphasizing strategic management's role in achieving superior business outcomes.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The study identifies gaps in research related to emerging technologies like blockchain, AI, and cloud computing while also highlighting trends such as sustainability, security, and AIS’s evolving role in strategic decision-making.Practical Implications: Business leaders can use AIS for better decision-making, governments can design supportive policies, and academics can explore innovative frameworks integrating technologies like AI and blockchain to improve business performance and competitiveness.Research Limitations/Future Directions: Future studies should investigate the integration of blockchain for transparency, AI for automation and fraud detection, cloud-based AIS for security and collaboration, and big data for forecasting and ESG reporting. Additionally, the impact of government regulations on AIS adoption requires further analysis.

Abstract

Research aims: This study investigates the implementation of the Management Accounting Information System (MAIS) within Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), emphasizing identifying its advantages, the challenges encountered, and strategies for optimizing its effectiveness. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with key stakeholders to gather comprehensive insights. Employing a case study approach, the research focuses on University X to examine the role of MAIS in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting informed financial decision-making. The informants in this study are nine persons, including administrators and academic officials.Research findings: The findings reveal that although the MAIS has notably enhanced financial transparency and operational efficiency, several challenges remain, most notably internal limitations related to inadequate human resource capacity in system utilization and external barriers stemming from rigid regulatory frameworks.Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study offers novel critical and theoretical reasoning on exploring the challenges and benefits of implementing MAIS based on the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM).Practitioner/Policy Implication: Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) should actively seek opportunities for collaboration with financial institutions and technology partners to enhance access to development financing. Furthermore, a comprehensive assessment of security measures and risk mitigation strategies is necessary for implementing MAIS, given the critical importance of data protection in digital financial environments.Research limitation: This study does not delve deeply into the technological dimensions of system security, particularly the risks associated with cyberattacks and the corresponding mitigation strategies in the context of MAIS implementation.
