Abstract

Indonesia has many temples scattered throughout the archipelago, becoming important assets that need to be preserved. In accordance with Law No. 11/2010 on Cultural Heritage, preservation of cultural heritage requires documentation. The importance of documenting temples to anticipate damage is reflected in Selogriyo Temple which was affected by landslides in 1998. This research designed Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM) and conservation mapping of Selogriyo Temple based on WebGIS. Methods include Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and Geographic Information System (GIS). Secondary data in the form of 3D model of Selogriyo Temple from TLS acquisition was processed with segmentation for HBIM. HBIM WebGIS was designed using the waterfall method. HBIM WebGIS test was conducted through Validity Test, Reliability Test, and Feasibility Test of ISO 9126 standard. The results showed that segmentation using several software for divided the point cloud data into nine main parts of the temple. ArcGIS Online's CityEngine and SceneViewer software merged the sections and attributed information. Feasibility testing showed the 3D HBIM and WebGIS models were valid and reliable, with good consistency according to ISO 9126 standards. The score of each variable exceeded 70%, indicating a sufficient level of feasibility. The HBIM and WebGIS design provides information on temple construction, a reference for reconstruction, and supports the management of the Selogriyo Temple tourism area. This research product is expected to be used to anticipate future developments and advance the management of cultural heritage sites through smart heritage.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and algorithms used by social media platforms has transformed the patterns of information consumption in society. The phenomenon of the filter bubble, where users are exposed only to information that aligns with their preferences and beliefs, has narrowed the space for public discourse. This study aims to explore the impact of algorithms on mass communication and its implications for information consumption patterns. The research utilizes a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing various articles and studies related to the influence of algorithms and the filter bubble on media interactions and audiences. The findings reveal that algorithms play a significant role in directing and limiting the types of information users are exposed to. This reinforces the formation of echo chambers, where individuals are more likely to receive information that confirms their existing beliefs, reducing the diversity of perspectives. The study also finds that this phenomenon may exacerbate social polarization, shrink the space for constructive dialogue, and influence political and social behavior. As a result, mass communication in the digital era faces new challenges in creating an inclusive and open public space. This research is expected to provide insights for the development of media policies and digital literacy to address the evolving landscape of mass communication in the future.

Abstract

The ALAR welding workshop is a welding industry that welds various types of metal using various methods and techniques. Material inventory is crucial in this business. Currently, material inventory recording is still done manually, resulting in frequent data errors, information delays, and difficulties in tracking inventory, as it is still manually calculated. Given these issues, the author designed and built a web-based material inventory information system to help manage material stock effectively and accurately. This system replaces error-prone manual processes and improves operational efficiency at the ALAR welding workshop. The method used in this study is the waterfall method because it has a step-by-step design process, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The research results show that the developed information system can facilitate workshop staff in recording, monitoring, and reporting material inventory in real time. This system also improves data accuracy, time efficiency, and supports owners in making faster decisions in the material procurement process, because it is supported by actual and well-documented data. Therefore, this web-based inventory information system can be an effective solution for material management at the ALAR Welding Workshop.

Abstract

In a company, there are several areas it manages, such as sales, purchases, inventory, marketing, production, and many other fields. Inventory, which is one of those areas, becomes a crucial center in the sustainability of the company's operations. This is because inventory has a relationship with sales and purchases, or is related to incoming and outgoing goods. Therefore, special attention is needed in this area of inventory. Inventory is not only related to goods but also to raw materials, depending on the type of company being run. In the inventory of raw materials specifically, it is essential to clearly understand the raw materials available in the company so that it can meet the company's needs in producing goods. To obtain this clear information, good information systems are certainly required. However, in reality, there are still many companies that use a manual system in managing their inventory data. This can obviously lead to several problems such as the information obtained regarding the final condition of the raw materials not being updated properly due to recording errors made on the incoming and outgoing raw materials. This condition results in the preparation of inventory reports being incorrect, thus making the information provided inaccurate. If this continues, it will negatively impact the company's survival. The company may incur significant losses and be unable to compete with other companies. Therefore, such companies need the development of a system that will transform from a manual system to a computerized system. With the hope of resolving the issues faced. In the process of developing the system, it is also necessary to choose the right model, such as the Rapid Application Development model. Because in this model, the existing stages can be carried out clearly and systematically and can have a short time estimate in the development of the system. The final result of this system development can be an inventory application that can be used to assist in managing its inventory data.
