Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based application to support the scheduling and assessment of thesis defenses at Universitas Nurdin Hamzah. The current scheduling process is conducted manually, often resulting in conflicts between supervisors, examiners, rooms, and students. In addition, thesis assessment is still carried out using printed forms, which are prone to recording errors and delays in result compilation. The developed application was designed to address these issues by providing two main modules, namely a thesis scheduling module and a thesis assessment module. The development methodology applied the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Waterfall approach, covering requirement analysis through system testing. The system was evaluated using black-box testing for functionality validation and a User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving 30 respondents, including lecturers, students, and academic staff. The results showed that 92% of the system’s functions performed as expected, while user satisfaction reached 90%. Furthermore, the application successfully accelerated the scheduling process by up to 60% compared to manual methods. Therefore, this application improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in managing thesis defenses.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to shift from manual administrative systems to web-based systems. Until now, the registration of new students and financial record-keeping at the pesantren have often faced obstacles because they were still carried out manually, making them prone to delays, document accumulation, and data entry errors.This study develops a web-based registration and financial management application using the Agile method, with Laravel, MySQL, and black box testing. The application provides features for online new student registration, financial information management, and pesantren promotional media.The research results show that the application is capable of accelerating the registration process, reducing data errors, improving financial management efficiency, and strengthening transparency and public trust in the pesantren

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy because they are able to absorb labor, strengthen the real sector, and market local products to a wider market. One example is the Pempek Madam MSME in Jambi, which is engaged in the production and sale of pempek as a regional specialty food. This study aims to develop a web-based cashier information system framework that not only improves transaction management efficiency at Pempek Madam but can also be adapted for other MSMEs with similar business models. The development was carried out using the Waterfall method, starting from needs analysis to implementation, with the user interface design created using Figma. The design includes a login page, main menu, product categories, transaction process, payment methods, sales reports, and profile settings. System testing was conducted through black box testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) to ensure functionality and ease of use. The test results showed that all features worked well, the interface was easy to understand, and the workflow was in line with user expectations. This framework is considered capable of improving the operational efficiency of MSMEs and is ready to be replicated for various similar types of businesses, supporting the acceleration of MSME digitalization in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Betel nut is a plantation commodity with significant economic potential, particularly as an export product. However, marketing activities among farmers and traders still face obstacles, such as limited access to price information, less than optimal promotions, and a narrow distribution network. This study aims to design and develop a web-based betel nut marketing information system that can support the promotion and transaction process. The system development method used refers to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, namely the waterfall, starting from user needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. This system was created using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, and is equipped with key features such as product data management, price recording, information publication and communication media between farmers and traders, as well as a payment gateway feature. Testing results using the black box testing approach showed that the system can function according to the design. With this information system, it is expected that betel nut marketing will be more structured, market access will be wider, and farmers and traders will obtain a more competitive selling price.

Abstract

Due to its manual reliance on conventional promotional techniques such as distributing flyers and posters, PT Lestari Inti Properti faces challenges in selling subsidized housing products. In the digital era, this situation limits promotional reach and reduces marketing effectiveness. The goal of this project is to create a web-based marketing information system that can manage the company's sales and administration data in an integrated manner and function as a digital promotional tool. Using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) methodology, prototyping techniques are applied through the phases of rapid design, testing and feedback, prototyping, and requirements communication. The result of this study is the design of a prototype housing marketing information system that includes a login module, housing data management, ordering procedures, and transaction reports. Use case structures, activity diagrams, and class diagrams are used in the design of this system to fully explain how users interact with business operations. This system can increase marketing reach, speed up administrative procedures, and reduce data input errors, according to the design results. Therefore, PT Lestari Inti Properti can improve operational effectiveness and competitiveness in the digital market by using a web-based marketing information system.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a web-based office information system for Dwigital.id (CV. Klik Anugerah Ciptareka) using the CodeIgniter framework to enhance internal work efficiency and accelerate customer interaction through WhatsApp API integration. The research employs a qualitative approach with the Waterfall development model, consisting of stages such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system includes main features such as CRUD Withdraw, CRUD Sales System, and Monitoring System integrated with WhatsApp for direct communication with customers. The testing process uses the Black Box Testing method to evaluate the functionality an reliability of each module. The results show that the system runs effectively and meets user needs, improving administrative performance and real-time customer engagement. The developed system is declared feasible for operational implementation and contributes to improving Dwigital.id digital service management.

Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth, yet many restaurants still rely on manual ordering systems. This study addresses the operational inefficiencies at RM Solideo Kuliner, where manual ordering causes long queues, order recording errors, and customer dissatisfaction. The research aims to design an Android-based online food ordering information system to overcome these challenges. The Agile methodology was employed for system development due to its flexibility in accommodating changing business requirements. Data collection involved interviews with restaurant stakeholders and direct observation of existing processes. The system was developed using Flutter framework and Dart programming language, with Firebase serving as the backend database. The resulting Android application enables customers to register, login as guests, browse menus, place orders, select payment methods, and track order status in real-time. Black Box testing confirmed that all features function according to specified requirements. Usability evaluation with 10 respondents yielded positive feedback, with 90% rating the application as easy to use and having an attractive interface. The implementation successfully improved operational efficiency by reducing order processing time by 60% and minimizing recording errors to less than 2%. This digital transformation demonstrates the potential for technology adoption in enhancing customer experience and business operations in the culinary sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Human Resource Information System (HRIS), pelatihan dan Produktivitas karyawan berdasarkan persepsi karyawan dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Human Resource Information System (HRIS) dan pelatihan secara parsial dan simultan terhadap Produktivitas karyawan pada PT. BPR Tanaoba Lais Manekat Kota Kupang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. BPR Tanaoba Lais Manekat Kota Kupang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian adalah probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling menggunakan rumus slovin diperoleh 55 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang di gunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan model regresi linear berganda menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 27. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa variabel Human Resource Information System (HRIS) dan pelatihan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dan produktivitas karyawan berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji t menunjukan bahwa Human Resource Information System (HRIS) dan pelatihan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap poduktivitas karyawan pada PT. BPR Tanaoba Lais Manekat Kota Kupang. Hasil uji F menunjukan bahwa Human Resource Information System (HRIS) dan pelatihan secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap poduktivitas karyawan pada PT. BPR Tanaoba Lais Manekat Kota Kupang. Hasil koefesien determinasi menunjukan angka sebesar 51% dan sisanya di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukan dalam penelitian ini. Abstract

Today, academic institution involves digital data to support the educational process. It has advantages, especially related to ease of access and process. However, security problems appear related to digital data. There were several information security incidents in the academic environment. In order to mitigate the problem, metrics identification is required to determine the risk of incidents. There are many risks model and metrics to estimate the risk, such as DREAD, OWASP, CVSS, etc. However, specific metrics are required to obtain appropriate risk values. Therefore, this study aims to define metrics for an academic institution. The proposed metrics are obtained from The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulation. It consists of directory information, educational information, personally identifiable information, and risk of information leakage. In order to achieve the objective, this study involves survey and reliability analysis to result in output. The survey is conducted by involving 90 respondents with various levels of education and jobs. The Cronbach's alpha and Test-retest are methods to determine this study's reliability. According to reliability analysis, the Cronbach's alpha method results in coefficients for the metrics between 0.730 - 0.911, while the Test-retest method results in coefficients between 0.630 - 0.797. These coefficients have a reliable category, so the proposed metrics are adequate for determining risk of information security incidents in academic environments. The reliable metrics will be developed as variables of the risk assessment model for the academic environment in the future study.

Abstract

Loss of consciousness (fainting) is a critical condition that requires prompt treatment, especially in the context of elderly health services and independent patient care. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that is able to detect fainting events in real-time using the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm version 11, which is one of the latest approaches in deep learning-based object detection. The system is designed to monitor video from the surveillance camera directly, make visual inferences of the patient's posture, and provide automatic notifications if a loss of consciousness condition is detected. The dataset was obtained from the Roboflow platform and consists of 9,081 annotated images representing the fainting position. The YOLOv11 model was trained and tested using training data sharing, validation, and testing methods. The test results showed that the model achieved mAP, precision, recall and F1-score values of 98.70%, 98.00%, 97.30% and 97.65%, respectively. The developed information system is able to display the detection visually through the bounding box on the dashboard and record the time of the incident. With this performance, this system shows great potential in improving patient safety through intelligent monitoring and automated response in hospital, nursing home, and residential environments. This research also opens up opportunities for the development of more adaptive AI-based health monitoring systems and computer vision in the future.
