Abstract

The preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) faces significant challenges in the digital age, particularly regarding authentic representation, technology acceptance, and sustainability. This research aims to develop a theory-informed conceptual framework to support ICH preservation through immersive information systems. The approach used was conceptual, with a systematic literature review, theory synthesis, and framework development. The literature analyzed included cultural preservation theory, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, and the Culturally Appropriate Design Guidelines (CADG). The research results produced a framework consisting of three main dimensions: Cultural Appropriateness, Technological Acceptance, and Sustainability. These three dimensions lead to the development of Immersive Information Systems that incorporate VR, AR, and AI technologies as key enablers for the documentation, dissemination, and intergenerational transfer of cultural knowledge. The literature synthesis indicates that community engagement, user acceptance of technology, and social, technological, and economic sustainability strategies are key pillars of ICH preservation in the digital age. As an illustration, the case of the Toba Batak demonstrates how immersive technology can be used to document local cultural practices such as tortor, gondang sabangunan, and ulos. The study's conclusions emphasize that ICH preservation cannot be separated from the integration of preservation theory, technology adoption, and sustainable design. The resulting framework provides both theoretical contributions by broadening the horizons of cultural preservation studies and practical contributions as a guide for the ethical, inclusive, and sustainable implementation of immersive technology.

Abstract

Hypertension remains the most common chronic disease found in primary healthcare facilities. Many patients return with recurring complaints due to uncontrolled blood pressure, one of the main causes being non-compliance with medication. Patient compliance can be defined as a patient's adherence to prescribed therapy. Medication adherence and adherence to treatment are crucial for a speedy recovery. Blood pressure control and adherence to antihypertensive treatment are crucial for preventing complications. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Hypertension Module Based on the IMB Model in Improving Medication Adherence in Hypertensive Patients. The design used was a one-group pre-post test design. The population in this study was 68 people, and using simple random sampling techniques, 36 people were obtained. The results showed that the average medication adherence before the intervention was 5.61 with a standart deviation of 0.766. The average medication adherence after the intervention increased to 5.89 with a standart deviation of 0.919. The Wilcoxon test for medication adherence data showed a ρ value of 0.006 with an α of 0.05. Since ρ value <α, the IMB-based hypertension module is effective in improving medication adherence in hypertensive patients. With adequate knowledge, a person will strive to adhere to treatment, seek further understanding of the disease, and utilize experience to motivate them to adhere to treatment and change behavior

Abstract

Digital transformation in bureaucracy requires the public sector to manage human resources (HR) more effectively, efficiently, and accountably. One of the key instruments supporting this effort is the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), which is part of electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM). HRIS functions to automate administrative processes, integrate personnel data, and provide relevant information for strategic decision-making. This study employs a literature review approach to analyze the contribution of HRIS in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR management, by examining both national and international publications. The findings show that HRIS plays an important role in reducing administrative burdens, improving data accuracy, strengthening transparency, and supporting more objective performance appraisal. Furthermore, HRIS facilitates employee competency development, the application of a merit system, and evidence-based talent planning. However, the implementation of HRIS in the public sector faces challenges such as inconsistent data quality, limited digital literacy among employees, resistance to change, and issues of data integration and security. To optimize HRIS as a strategic function, good data governance, user competency development, cross-government system integration, and continuous evaluation are required. With these strategies, HRIS has the potential to serve as a strategic enabler for a modern bureaucracy that is professional, transparent, accountable, and oriented toward improving the quality of public services.

Abstract

In an increasingly complex digital era, websites are the main target for attacks by irresponsible parties. Therefore, a system is needed that can monitor, analyze, and provide early warning against suspicious activity or attacks that occur on websites. For this reason, this research analyzes and designs a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system that can be used to detect incidents of attacks on websites. The SIEM built in this study uses an Elastic Stack which will be used to analyze, monitor, detect, and store event information or security logs for each connected agent. To simulate testing types of attacks on websites such as the OWASP TOP 10 2017, several vulnerable web applications are used, namely DVWA, XVWA, and MUTILLIDAE. Tests on the SIEM system that was created showed that the system was able to detect the types of attacks on websites as mentioned in the OWASP TOP 10 2017.
