Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has led people to increasingly rely on the internet as an initial source of health information before making medical decisions. However, the varying quality of digital health information requires consumers to evaluate its credibility before using it as a basis for decision-making, including decisions to use online health consultation services. This study aims to understand how consumers evaluate the credibility of digital health information and how this evaluation process influences their decisions to use telemedicine services. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective. Data were collected through in- depth interviews with participants who had searched for health information online and had experience using online medical consultation services. Participants were selected purposively, and the number of participants was determined based on the principle of data saturation. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of experience and meaning constructed by participants when assessing information credibility. The findings reveal that credibility evaluation is a complex and contextual process influenced by personal experiences and emotional conditions. Consumers assess credibility based on source authority, consistency of information across sources, and prior usage experiences. Emotions such as anxiety also shape how individuals interpret information. Information perceived as credible increases confidence and reduced perceived risk, thereby encouraging the decision to use online consultation services. conversely, information perceived as less credible leads to confusion and delays in decision-making. These findings highlights that the credibility of digital health information serves as a psychological foundation for building trust in telemedicine services.

Abstract

In the current digital business environment, organisations use Business Information Systems (BIS) to support managerial and strategic decision-making. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of decisions is not only dependent on the presence of technological systems but also on the accuracy of data, the level of system integration, and the competency of users who operate these systems. The study seeks to analyze the impact of Business Information Systems, data accuracy, system integration, and user competency on decision-making effectiveness. A quantitative explanatory research design was adopted for the study using a survey approach. The data was collected from 120 respondents who actively use Business Information Systems in their organizations. The research instrument was validated for validity and reliability, and the data were analysed using multiple regression to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on decision-making effectiveness. The findings show that Business Information Systems, data accuracy, system integration, and user competency are significantly and positively related to decision-making effectiveness. At the same time, the four variables have a significant impact on decision-making effectiveness, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.611, which means that the model explains 61.100% of the variation in decision-making effectiveness. Among the four independent variables, the most influential factor in decision-making effectiveness is user competency. The findings of this study suggest that, for effective decision-making, organisations need not only accurate and integrated information systems but also accurate data and competent users who can interpret and effectively use the outputs of those systems.

Abstract

In the context of Physical Education learning, objective and reliable speed assessment is essential not only for measuring students’ physical abilities but also for informing instructional strategies, individualized feedback, and fair evaluation of learning outcomes. The absence of standardized and objective measurement tools can hinder teachers’ ability to monitor student progress, design appropriate learning interventions, and motivate students effectively. From the background above, the following problem formulations can be taken: 1) What is the range of sports speed norms for students?, 2) What is the development model for sprint speed information hardware software (SHICEPATS) for tests and evaluations of state Islamic higher education students based on ESP8266 wireless?, 3) What is the feasibility of sprint speed information hardware software (SHICEPATS)?. The process that must be passed through in research and development by Borg and Gall.  Feedback from the sports science validator highlighted several weaknesses in SHICEPATS, prompting important product improvements. One key suggestion was the creation of a comprehensive user manual to guide users through the device's operation. Based on input from IT experts regarding the control unit box, the researchers redesigned it to ensure a unique and distinctive appearance that distinguishes. The results of the small group trial showed that 38.10% were still unable to perform digital sprint tests and measurements because the operational method was not yet user friendly and there were still many displays that were confusing. The use of SHICEPATS in the large group trial has improved, the level of ease of performing measurement tests and reading results was 83.21%. In general, the level of ease of SHICEPATS design and ease of carrying was 91.97%, these results indicate that users find it much easier to process and understand the data generated by the device. The system is designed to calculate sprint speed using two strategically placed sensors.

Abstract

Health is a necessity for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, and health insurance is essential to ensure access to quality medical services while mitigating the financial impact of accidents and illnesses. In Indonesia, a common issue with insurance is the lack of customer understanding of policy terms, leading to misunderstandings. Legal Protection for Health Insurance Policyholders Against Claim Denials Due to Non-Transparent Information in Insurance Policies includes several measures. Customers should actively ask agents and insurance companies for clear explanations of policy terms, carefully review the policy before signing, and contact the Financial Services Authority (OJK) or the Consumer Dispute Settlement Board (BPSK) for mediation. If these steps fail, customers can resort to civil lawsuits. Legal remedies for failed claims involve understanding one’s rights, gathering relevant evidence, seeking written clarification from the insurance company about the claim rejection, and filing an official complaint to OJK. If the issue remains unresolved, the customer can pursue legal action in court.
