Abstract

The agricultural sector is an important sector in a region because it is the main milestone of the community's economy, including in Buol Regency. This study aims to analyze and map the distribution of the agricultural base sector in Buol Regency with the help of Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with Location Quotient (LQ) analysis techniques, localization analysis, and specialization analysis. The analysis is supported by primary data and secondary data obtained from various sources, both government and private agencies. The results of the LQ analysis show that rice fields and corn are the main commodities that have the widest distribution of advantages, while other commodities tend to be superior in certain regions. Localization analysis shows that all agricultural commodities have a relatively even distribution pattern and are not concentrated in one area. Meanwhile, the analysis of specialization shows that only paddy rice is classified as a special commodity, while other commodities have not shown a high level of regional specialization. Thus, it can be concluded that paddy rice is a commodity based on the agricultural sector in Buol Regency which is spread almost throughout the sub-district.

Abstract

The development of an employee payroll information system is important in improving the efficiency and accuracy of payroll data management, especially in companies with a large number of employees. The selection of this topic is driven by the need to reduce payroll errors that often occur in manual systems. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) method was chosen as the main approach because of its ability to model and visualize the system in a structured manner. This research uses an object-oriented approach with UML, which includes the creation of use case diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. These diagrams are used to describe the functional requirements and business processes that support the development of payroll information systems. The results show that the application of UML helps simplify system design, facilitate communication between developers and stakeholders, and increase accuracy in system implementation. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the successful performance of the information system runs effectively and accurately. In conclusion, this method is effective in designing an efficient and reliable payroll information system to minimize errors and increase productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how artificial intelligence readiness and integrated reporting contribute to accounting information quality and, in turn, influence investor trust and corporate performance in a sustainability-oriented business context. Employing a qualitative research approach grounded in a comprehensive literature review, this study systematically reviews and synthesizes recent and seminal academic work in accounting, corporate reporting, artificial intelligence, and capital markets. The method involves thematic and content analysis of peer-reviewed journal articles and authoritative institutional reports to identify recurring patterns, theoretical linkages, and convergent findings related to the proposed constructs. The results indicate that artificial intelligence readiness and integrated reporting function as complementary organizational capabilities that enhance accounting information quality by improving accuracy, transparency, and contextual coherence of corporate disclosures. Accounting information quality emerges as a key mediating mechanism through which technological readiness and reporting architecture strengthen investor trust. The findings further suggest that higher investor trust facilitates improved corporate performance by reducing information asymmetry, lowering the cost of capital, and supporting long-term sustainable value creation. The main contribution of this study lies in developing an integrated conceptual understanding that connects digital readiness, advanced reporting practices, and sustainability-oriented performance outcomes. This study provides theoretical insights for accounting and disclosure research. It offers practical implications for managers seeking to align digital transformation and reporting strategies with investor expectations and sustainable corporate performance.

Abstract

The rapid utilization of Information Technology in the operations of PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) increases the complexity of cybersecurity risks and regulatory compliance demands, thus requiring structured governance. This study aims to analyze the existing conditions, identify gaps, and develop an information security governance model using the COBIT 2019 framework. The research method involves Design Factor assessment and organizational needs analysis that sets four priority process objectives: EDM03, APO12, APO13, and DSS05. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, and document studies to assess the level of as-is capability compared to to-be targets. The results showed that the current level of governance capability is at Level 3 (Largely Achieved) with a target of Level 4 (Fully Achieved), leaving a gap of one level. Based on the gap analysis, strategic recommendations were developed focusing on strengthening governance, risk management, and security operations. This study provides a practical contribution in the form of a roadmap to improve measurable information security governance to support the operational stability of industrial estates and compliance with data security regulations.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Manufacturing Information System (MIS) to improve operational efficiency, inventory control, and readiness at scale for Dasteran Bendino MSMEs. The qualitative descriptive research uses interviews, field observation, and literature review. The results show hybrid operations, manual transaction recording and flow, dependence on suppliers, and centralized administrative burdens; therefore, the addition of divisions (administration, warehousing, logistics, R&D) and the implementation of an integrated digital system (e.g., Notion), along with improvements in transaction flow, automated recording, and supplier diversification, are necessary. The recommended implementation is expected to enhance recording accuracy and the competitiveness of MSMEs in the e-commerce ecosystem.
