Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has required the teaching and learning process to be conducted without face-to-face interaction. This condition has increased the demand for digital teaching materials that can effectively support students’ understanding, particularly in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects. SMP Patra Mandiri 2 Palembang is equipped with a computer laboratory and internet facilities; however, these facilities have not been optimally utilized because teachers still rely on manual guidebooks for practical learning activities. This study aimed to design ICT teaching materials based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in the form of a website to support online learning. The system development employed the Extreme Programming (XP) method, which consists of the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing. The results of the study produced a CTL-based ICT teaching materials system that provides features for uploading learning materials, assignments, quizzes, question-and-answer interactions, and assessments that are accessible to both teachers and students. The system is expected to enhance the effectiveness of online learning and to promote active student engagement in understanding learning materials through a contextual approach.

Abstract

Technological developments have had a significant impact on human life, including the learning process. The modern digital era has produced a wide range of devices that have indirectly reduced public interest in reading, including reading the Holy Qur’an. The COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated this condition because religious learning activities that were previously conducted in places of worship were forced to shift to online learning. The Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia) has provided a digital Qur’an application; however, it does not yet include a fast and accurate interpretation search feature. This study aimed to develop an Android-based Qur’an interpretation application by implementing a Boolean Information Retrieval (IR) model as the method for searching the interpretation index. The application was developed using the Dart programming language and the Flutter framework, with reference to Tafsir Ibn Kathir. The results indicate that the implementation of the Boolean IR model improved the effectiveness of interpretation searches and generated relevant results in accordance with user needs.

Abstract

Papuan students in South Sumatra face challenges related to fragmented communication, limited information accessibility, and low participation in organizational activities. The absence of an integrated digital platform has reduced coordination efficiency within the Papuan Student Community of Sriwijaya (KOMPAS). This study aims to design and empirically evaluate an Agile-based integrated web information system incorporating digital governance and marketplace features to enhance organizational performance and engagement. The system was developed using the Agile methodology through five iterative sprints over a ten-month period involving 15 organizational stakeholders and 75 active members. The platform was implemented using Laravel and MySQL within a three-tier architecture framework. Evaluation procedures included functional testing, performance analysis, and usability assessment using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicated an average page load time of 1.2 seconds (desktop) and 2.8 seconds (mobile), with a PageSpeed score of 94 and 85% unit test coverage. The system achieved a SUS score of 82.5, categorized as excellent usability. After one month of implementation, information accessibility increased from 24% to 76%, participation rose from 38% to 62%, and member engagement improved from 31% to 73%. The marketplace module recorded 23 transactions totaling Rp 8,500,000. These findings demonstrate that integrating digital governance mechanisms with marketplace functionality significantly enhances coordination, engagement, and economic participation in student-based community organizations.

Abstract

This paper attempts to study the designing of the accounting information system to be used and applied in commercial companies. Therefore, the principal and fundamental aim and objective of this paper are to give the best approaches and techniques of modeling a good, robust, and reliable accounting information system that focuses on Transaction Processing System, General Ledger, Financial Reporting System and Management Reporting System in the commercial company. The researchers designed the main charts of the system that will help in the construction of an ideal and robust Accounting Information System (AIS), with the simple and lowest cost methods, techniques, and approaches. In addition, the practical section in this paper depicts the accounts of the company, the financial statements, invoice, income statement, balance sheet, assets, liabilities and the important factor is the relationship between the accounts. The proposed information system is designed to be flexible to suite most of the commercial companies due to the difference among each of them. Therefore, after applying it the information system showed a great relation between accounts. The main conclusion of this paper is that the analyzing and designing process of an accounting information system (AIS) needs a good knowledge about the commercial environment that surrounded the represented company which will be as wisdom in knowledge representation science.

Abstract

Healthcare institutions worldwide are undergoing digital transformation to improve efficiency and patient experiences. While many studies focus on clinical applications of information technology (IT), its impact on administrative service quality remains limited, even though administrative services are patients’ primary point of contact. This study examines how IT adoption influences administrative service quality in Indonesian healthcare institutions, focusing on relationships between IT implementation levels and service quality dimensions, as well as mediating and moderating factors. Using a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, quantitative data were collected from 385 patients and 127 administrative staff across 24 hospitals, supported by 32 in-depth interviews. Service quality was measured using SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings show significant positive relationships between IT adoption and all service quality dimensions, with the strongest effects on reliability and responsiveness. Staff digital competency and system usability partially mediate these relationships, while implementation quality acts as a key moderating factor. Well-implemented systems yield substantially higher service improvements than poorly implemented ones. Most patients prefer digital services when functioning properly, although many report frustration when systems fail or staff lack competency. This study highlights the importance of effective IT implementation to enhance administrative service quality and offers practical insights for healthcare management.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Community Satisfaction Information System (Si Kemad) in enhancing public services at the Office of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) in the Dharmasraya Regency. Research Methodology: This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at the DPMPTSP Dharmasraya. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The informants included agency leaders, system operators, frontline staff, and service users. The Si Kemad function serves as a digital survey system based on Google Forms and is periodically evaluated. Results: The results indicate that Si Kemad is moderately effective in improving community participation, expediting service delivery, and supporting data-driven decision-making. However, challenges remain, particularly in areas such as public socialization, human resource limitations, and underdeveloped technological infrastructure. Conclusions: The Si Kemad program has contributed to improving the quality of public services. However, further optimization and stronger technical and institutional support are necessary to maximize its potential. Limitations: This study was limited to a single institutional setting and applied a qualitative approach; thus, the findings may not be generalizable to broader contexts. Contributions: This study contributes to the advancement of digital-based public service models, particularly in regional government settings. These findings offer insights for practitioners, scholars, and policymakers in public administration and government information systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) on the efficiency of educational data management. Using a quantitative approach with an associative design, the research involved 66 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through two questionnaires: one for assessing EMIS implementation (21 items) and one for evaluating educational data management efficiency (20 items). Both instruments were validated and tested for reliability using SPSS version 27. Data analysis included normality testing (Kolmogorov– Smirnov test), homogeneity testing (Levene’s test), and hypothesis testing (simple linear regression analysis). The results showed a significant effect of EMIS implementation on data management efficiency, with a significance value of <0.000 and an R Square value of 0.437. This indicates that EMIS contributes 43.7% to improving educational data management efficiency. The findings suggest that the adoption of EMIS can enhance administrative efficiency and facilitate more effective management of educational data.

Abstract

The digital era of Society 5.0 demands the transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning from conventional memorization to the creation of contextual digital da'wah content, but limited literature reveals the dynamics of creativity of urban Islamic Vocational School students. This study aims to describe the implementation of ICT-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and analyze its implications for the creativity of Al-Huda Kebon Jeruk Vocational School students through concrete manifestations of Blender 3D prayer videos, the "Islamic Social Media Ethics" application, and the Spotify Digital Dakwah Club tauhid podcast. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach of participatory observation triangulation (12 blended learning sessions), in-depth interviews of Islamic Religious Education teachers, students, and managers, and analysis of offline Google Slides+USB hybrid lesson plan documentation using the Miles-Huberman model with the validity of source-technique triangulation. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education and Information and Communication Technology at Al-Huda Vocational School generate student creativity through hybrid project-based learning transformation (Zoom-Kahoot 60%, Powtoon project 40%), which produces authentic interdisciplinary Islamic Religious Education-TKR-TKJ da'wah content, overcoming infrastructure limitations via group hotspots and USB modules, even though students' digital literacy challenges vary, solved through gradual Canv—blender scaffolding. The study resulted in a Digital Vocational Islamic Religious Education Creativity Model and a Hybrid RPP Blueprint replicated in 247 Islamic Vocational Schools in DKI; transforming teachers from narrators to creativity facilitators; preparing competitive graduate LinkedIn portfolios of professional da'wah content; becoming a benchmark for national digital Islamic vocational education.

Abstract

The unemployment rate in Indonesia continues to pose significant social and economic challenges, requiring government initiatives such as job training programs. However, administrative processes that still rely on Google Forms lead to several issues, including data duplication (19 duplicates out of 598 registrations, or 3.2%), slow verification procedures (24–32 working hours per period), and limited real-time monitoring. This study focuses on developing a digital job training module integrated with the Worker Network Information System (SiJoker) at the Batu City Manpower Office. The system was developed using the prototyping method through three iterative cycles with direct user involvement, allowing the solution to be refined according to actual operational needs. The module includes participant registration, training management, and document validation features. System evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing with 19 functional scenarios covering account management, training management, document management, verification, and reporting. The test results confirmed valid outputs for all scenarios without any critical errors. User evaluation by three staff members also validated system feasibility, particularly the effectiveness of explicit document status indicators, simplified navigation, and enhanced system responsiveness through optimized database queries.

Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan Building Information Modeling (BIM) merupakan inovasi penting dalam industri konstruksi karena mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan bangunan. Autodesk Revit merupakan salah satu perangkat lunak BIM  paling populer yang banyak digunakan dalam industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil perhitungan volume struktur beton, penulangan, dan schedule rebar struktur atas antara metode BIM dan metode konvensional pada proyek revitalisasi gedung SDN 31 Sungai Lambai, Kabupaten Solok Selatan, menggunakan Autodesk Revit 2022. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan pengumpulan data untuk mendapatkan gambar kerja dan Detail Engineering Design (DED) bangunan untuk dianalisis menggunakan Autodesk Revit 2022. Pemodelan struktur dilakukan secara tiga dimensi berdasarkan gambar rencana, dengan perhitungan volume menggunakan fitur Quantity Take-Off (QTO). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan volume beton sebesar 4% (2,95 m³), penulangan sebesar 6% (642,93 kg), serta perbedaan anggaran biaya sebesar 7% atau Rp10.699.477,11. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode BIM dengan Autodesk Revit lebih cepat, mudah, dan efisien dibandingkan metode konvensional. Kata Kunci: Building Information Modeling (BIM); Autodesk Revit 2022; Quantity Take-Off (QTO); Konvensional
