Abstract

Inventory management at PT Omega Karyatama Elektronindo is still carried out manually using written records and spreadsheets, resulting in inaccurate stock data, delayed information, and the absence of a structured procurement workflow. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system capable of supporting integrated, accurate, and real-time inventory management in accordance with the company's operational needs. The development method used was Agile Scrum, implemented through three sprints: Sprint 1 (Product & Stock Management), Sprint 2 (PR/PO Procurement), and Sprint 3 (Reports & Dashboard). The system was built using the Laravel 12 framework and Filament v5 with a role-based multi-panel architecture that divides access into three panels: Admin, Management, and Supplier. System testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method on 33 test scenarios across eight functional modules. The results show that the developed web-based inventory information system successfully replaced the manual process and met all the established functional and non-functional requirements, with a testing success rate of 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of using the Customs and Excise Information System and Automation (CEISA 4.0) on the efficiency of the export process at PT. Cresco Indonesia. PT. Cresco Indonesia, a footwear manufacturing company, transitioned from a manual system to CEISA 4.0 in 2019 to enhance efficiency in terms of time, cost, and data accuracy in the export process. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a comparative study, comparing the export process before and after the implementation of CEISA 4.0. The findings reveal that the implementation of CEISA 4.0 significantly influences time efficiency, with a reduction in the processing time for the submission of Pemberitahuan Ekspor Barang (PEB) documents until the issuance of the Nota Pelayanan Ekspor (NPE). Additionally, administrative costs for exports have significantly decreased, especially related to the reduction of document printing and transportation costs. Data accuracy in the export process has also improved, reducing the frequency of data entry errors and mitigating administrative risks. Overall, CEISA 4.0 contributes greatly to operational efficiency, with a total contribution of 96.9% towards improving export efficiency at PT. Cresco Indonesia. This study suggests that PT. Cresco Indonesia should continue to update training for staff to maximize the use of the CEISA 4.0 system and ensure infrastructure stability to support 24/7 operations. The findings also highlight the importance of digitalization in enhancing Indonesia’s product competitiveness in international markets.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pada era teknologi sekarang ini telah menuntut adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran, kemajuan teknologi harus dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin oleh pendidik khususnya pendidik agama Islam, Pendayagunaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi keharusan sehingga proses pembelajaran tidak stagnan dan kaku. Pendayagunaan atau inovasi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam harus segera dilakukan, terutama dalam metode pembelajaran. Internet sebagai media pembelajaran dapat menjadi alternatif metode pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, hal ini bisa dalam bentuk e-learning, atau aplikasi-aplikasi yang memudahkan penyampaian materi pembelajaran, sehingga proses pembelajaran semakin menarik dan tidak membosankan. Kata kunci: inovasi, pembelajaran, pendidikan agama Islam, information and communication technology

Abstract

The rapid escalation in the sophistication of network attacks has exposed the limitations of traditional Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). While machine learning has shown great promise in enhancing IDS performance, its success often hinges on the effectiveness of feature selection. Standard feature selection techniques, however, struggle in cybersecurity applications due to the highly imbalanced nature of network traffic datasets. In such settings, minority attack classes—though critical—are often overshadowed by majority classes, leading to reduced detection of rare intrusions. To address this challenge, we propose a hybrid feature selection framework that integrates Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Mutual Information (MI) with a novel class-frequency weighting mechanism. This weighting scheme adjusts the relevance score of each feature according to the distribution of classes, ensuring that features associated with rare attacks are more strongly emphasized during the selection process. We evaluate our method on the UNSW-NB15 dataset using a Support Vector Machine classifier. The results show that our approach achieves substantial gains in recall for underrepresented classes while simultaneously reducing feature dimensionality and maintaining efficiency. By improving the visibility of features tied to minority attacks, the proposed framework provides a more balanced and reliable solution for modern IDS. This contribution advances the detection of rare but impactful threats and highlights a scalable pathway for building more resilient cybersecurity defenses.

Abstract

Payroll management is one of the main obligations of entrepreneurs as tax collectors (tax withholding system) based on Indonesian tax law, particularly in the context of Article 21 of the Income Tax Law (PPh). However, many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia still rely on manual payroll systems accompanied by incomplete administrative records, resulting in inaccurate tax calculations and potential non-compliance with applicable tax regulations. This study aims to: (1) identify whether MSMEs in the study sample still use manual or digital payroll systems, and (2) assess the completeness of payroll administration documents required for accurate PPh Article 21 reporting. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, using a structured questionnaire distributed to 30 MSMEs engaged in the staple food (sembako) trading sector at Wanaherang Market, Bogor Regency. A total of 20 questionnaires were returned and analyzed, with a response rate of 66.7%. The results show that the majority of respondents still rely on manual payroll methods with incomplete administrative documentation. The 20 MSME respondents, only 9 entities (45%) had complete payroll documentation across all seven assessed components: employee data, revenue components, insurance deductions, Article 21 Income Tax calculations, supporting data, tax reporting documents, and internal control systems. The weakest component was internal control (only 40% complete), followed by completeness of supporting data (55%). As a contribution, this study proposes a conceptual digital payroll accounting information system framework consisting of six integrated stages employee data input, automated tax calculation, document generation, system validation, multi-level approval, and payroll disbursement designed to improve compliance efficiency for MSMEs. This prototype is planned to be implemented through community service activities targeting MSMEs that have not yet adopted a digital payroll system.

Abstract

IP2MP Sitiung, Dharmasraya Regency processes vegetable waste into biodigester fertilizer (leachate fertilizer), but the fertilization dosage is still determined manually and inaccurately, which risks inhibiting plant growth. This study aims to design a website-based information system to monitor the quality of biodigester fertilizer (pH and voltage) in real time and to optimize the determination of vegetable fertilization dosage. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document study, while the system was developed using the waterfall model with the PHP programming language, a MySQL database, and sensors based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as the IoT device. The system was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams, and was subsequently tested using the black box testing method. The results show that the system successfully displays real-time biodigester conditions through the Dashboard page, provides a Dose Calculator feature that automatically calculates fertilizer dose recommendations based on vegetable type and land area, and includes an Activity Logbook feature to record fertilization history. All black box testing scenarios for the admin and general user modules ran according to the expected results, proving that the system is feasible to use and able to improve the efficiency of biodigester fertilizer use compared to manual methods.

Abstract

Selecting oil palm seeds that suit soil quality and climate conditions is an important factor in increasing plantation productivity. However, the seed selection process is still largely based on experience, potentially resulting in decisions that are less objective and not in accordance with land characteristics. This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system to recommend the best oil palm seeds based on soil quality data and climate conditions using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. System development was carried out using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a Waterfall model that includes problem identification, literature study, data collection, needs analysis, implementation of the TOPSIS method, application development using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database, and system testing. The TOPSIS method is implemented through the stages of decision matrix formation, normalization, criteria weighting, determining positive and negative ideal solutions, calculating the distance between each alternative, and determining preference values ​​to produce the best seed recommendations. The results showed that the system is able to process data on soil quality, rainfall, temperature, humidity, soil texture, and seed characteristics into objective seed recommendations based on TOPSIS preference values. System testing using the Blackbox Testing method showed that all application functions run according to functional requirements without any errors. The system developed is expected to help farmers and plantation managers in determining the oil palm seeds that are most suitable for land conditions more quickly, accurately, and objectively.

Abstract

Administrative services in Rimbo Ilir District are still managed manually, resulting in inefficient document submission, data recording, and document management processes. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Digital Community Administrative Service Information System to support administrative services in Rimbo Ilir District. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The system was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and implemented using the Python programming language with a MySQL database. Functional testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The results show that the developed system provides online document submission, document upload, application verification by administrators, application status tracking, and administrative report generation. Based on the testing results, all major system functions operated as intended, indicating that the system can support more effective, efficient, and integrated administrative services in Rimbo Ilir District.

Abstract

School libraries play an important role in supporting the learning process by providing access to information resources for students and educators. However, library management at SMAN 1 Koto Salak is still conducted manually using ledger books, resulting in delays in data recording, inefficient borrowing and returning processes, and difficulties in generating reports. This study aims to design and develop a desktop-based Library Information System to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of library management. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, while the software was developed using the Waterfall model. The system was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and implemented using the Python programming language with MySQL as the database management system. System functionality was evaluated using Black Box Testing to ensure that all features operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing member data, book collections, borrowing and returning transactions, and report generation in an integrated manner. The implementation of the system improves the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of library management compared with the previous manual process.

Abstract

Web-Based Internship Location Mapping Geographic Information System (GIS) at SMK Start Up Dara Jingga was developed to overcome the limitations of conventional administration using Microsoft Excel. This study aims to design and implement a web-based internship mapping GIS that integrates master data management, spatial visualization of institutions, as well as centralized attendance and daily journal operations. System development utilized the Waterfall model with Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram modeling. The software was built using PHP with the Laravel framework, MySQL as the relational database, Tailwind CSS for a responsive interface, and Leaflet.js as the interactive digital mapping engine. The results indicate that the system successfully maps the spatial distribution of internship locations. The implementation of radius-based attendance (geofencing) effectively and precisely validates student attendance at internship sites, while the advisor portal simplifies the monitoring of attendance logs and the validation of daily activity journals. Based on Black Box testing across 22 functional scenarios, the system was declared 100% valid with zero operational system errors. This study concludes that this web-based internship location mapping GIS is suitable for implementation and capable of sustainably enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of internship administration management at SMK Start Up Dara Jingga.
