Abstract

This study examines how well integrated information systems can enhance user trust by addressing key aspects such as data security, ease of access, and platform reliability. Through a literature review and analysis of online data sources, the study reveals that transparent and reliable information systems foster user loyalty and strengthen the relationship between consumers and e-commerce service providers. Furthermore, the study emphasizes that trust is a critical determinant in the user decision making process, especially in a digital environment where direct interaction is minimal. Integrated systems that prioritize user experience and consistent service delivery significantly reduce uncertainty and perceived risk among users. The findings also show that when users perceive a platform as secure and responsive, their engagement levels increase, resulting in higher retention rates and positive word of mouth. This underscores the importance of continuous system evaluation, inclusion of user feedback, and proactive risk management as strategic components of information system development. In conclusion, investing in robust, user-centric information systems not only improves operational efficiency but also builds sustainable competitive advantage through fostering user trust. This study contributes to the growing discourse on digital trust and offers practical insights for e-commerce providers looking to strengthen their customer relationships through technology integration.

Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly impacted the improvement of service quality in the education sector, particularly in academic services. Sukarobot utilizes an academic service information system to support its service delivery to partners. However, several obstacles have been encountered in its implementation, such as occasional system errors, delayed service responses, and suboptimal service quality that meets user expectations. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the quality of the academic service information system and its impact on Sukarobot partner satisfaction using the SERVQUAL method. This study employed a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques involving the distribution of questionnaires to Sukarobot partners. The SERVQUAL method measures service quality based on five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, Likert scale analysis, and gap analysis between user perceptions and expectations. The results showed that all questionnaire items were valid, as their calculated r values ​​were greater than the tabulated r values ​​of 0.2133. Furthermore, the reliability test results showed that all variables had Cronbach's Alpha values ​​above 0.60, thus declaring the research instrument reliable. Based on the SERVQUAL analysis, all dimensions had negative gap values, indicating that the service quality of Sukarobot's academic information system has not fully met user expectations. The assurance dimension had the smallest gap value of -0.34, while the reliability and responsiveness dimensions had the largest gap values ​​of -0.40, making them a top priority for improvement

Abstract

The ability to analyze information presented in graphs and tables is an important aspect of numeracy, as it is one of the indicators used to measure numeracy literacy internationally. This particular ability remains a challenge for students because it requires a high level of cognitive ability. However, it has not been extensively explored in depth. This study aimed to describe the difficulties encountered by tenth-grade senior high school students in analyzing information presented in the form of stacked bar charts and weekly expenditure tables. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Initial data were collected through a numeracy literacy test consisting of one context-based problem involving a system of linear equations in three variables (SPLTV), which had been validated by an expert in mathematics education and used as an instrument for selecting the research subjects. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling. The selected subjects were then explored in greater depth through semi-structured interviews. The findings showed that, when analyzing information presented in graphs and tables, the participants experienced varying degrees of mathematical misunderstanding, ranging from a failure to coordinate the two representations, which resulted in strategic errors, to a gap between their understanding and their ability to solve mathematical problems. This study provides an empirical description of specific areas in which students experience difficulties with data-representation-based numeracy. The implication is that greater emphasis should be placed on instructional design that explicitly trains students to establish conceptual connections when solving problems

Abstract

Abstract..This study aims to determine the effect of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), the use of information technology and the role of government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) on the quality of financial reports in the Kaimana Regency Regional Government. The total respondents were 119 people from 38 Regional Apparatus Organizations in Kaimana Regency consisting of OPD leaders, Head of the finance subdivision, treasurer and APIP / Internal Auditor. The research method used multiple regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), the use of information technology, and the role of government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) had a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports in the Kaimana Regency Local Government.

Abstract

Objective: The study aims to examine the implementation and development of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta and identify factors influencing AIS adoption to support sustainable economic growth aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8. Method: The research employed a qualitative approach using a multi-case study method involving three MSMEs representing micro, small, and medium business categories. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification.  Results:  The findings reveal differences in AIS implementation among MSMEs based on business scale and organizational resources. Micro businesses still rely on manual accounting systems due to limited financial resources, inadequate human resource competencies, and insufficient technological infrastructure. Small businesses have adopted digital AIS through external software providers, while medium businesses have developed integrated AIS using internal developers. AIS implementation provides benefits including improved financial information accuracy, operational efficiency, internal control, and strategic decision-making capabilities.  Novelty: The study contributes empirical evidence regarding the different stages of AIS adoption among MSMEs and highlights the importance of aligning technological capability, financial readiness, and human resource development to achieve sustainable digital transformation. The findings support SDG 8 by strengthening MSME competitiveness and promoting inclusive economic growth through technology-based management systems.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat membawa dampak signifikan terhadap cara pelajar mengakses, mengelola, dan membagikan informasi, termasuk di lingkungan sekolah vokasional. Tanpa literasi digital dan pemahaman keamanan data yang memadai, pelajar rentan terhadap berbagai ancaman siber seperti phishing, kebocoran data pribadi, dan penyebaran informasi yang tidak terverifikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital dan kesadaran keamanan data pelajar guna membangun ekosistem informasi sekolah yang aman, cerdas, dan efisien. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kolej Vokasional Melaka Tengah (KVMT), Bukit Katil, Melaka, Malaysia, hasil kolaborasi antara Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya dan Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap perencanaan, sosialisasi melalui ceramah interaktif dan diskusi, serta evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pasca-kegiatan (post-test). Kegiatan diikuti oleh 59 pelajar dari kelas 1DBPP, 2DBPP, 2SBPP, dan 2BPP, dengan 51 di antaranya mengisi lembar evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat konsistensi jawaban yang tinggi pada sebagian besar item pemahaman, berkisar antara 80,4% hingga 100%, sementara seluruh peserta (100%) menyatakan sangat setuju terhadap manfaat dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model kolaborasi lintas negara dalam penguatan literasi digital dan keamanan data di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Quality medical record services are an important component in supporting the efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery. A preliminary assessment at the Independent Midwifery Practice (PMB), Department of Midwifery, Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta, identified several problems, including the continued use of manual medical record documentation, suboptimal utilization of computers, relatively long registration service times, and limited storage capacity for medical record documents. This community service program aimed to improve staff knowledge and competency regarding Electronic Medical Records (EMR) through education, training, mentoring, and implementation of a Clinic Management Information System (SiKlik), while improving the quality of registration services. The program was conducted from March to October 2024 using a blended approach and involved 12 staff members at the Independent Midwifery Practice (PMB), Department of Midwifery, Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. The activities included EMR education, demonstration and hands-on practice in using SiKlik, mentoring during system implementation in the registration process, and evaluation using pretest and posttest assessments. Service quality was evaluated through a satisfaction survey involving 30 patients who had received services before and after EMR implementation. The results showed that the mean staff knowledge score increased by 24 points, from 65 at pretest to 89 at posttest. All participants (100%) were able to operate the basic functions of SiKlik, and system utilization in daily services reached 100%. The implementation of SiKlik also improved registration service efficiency, with the mean service time decreasing from 35 minutes to 15 minutes. All patients (100%) reported that the service was faster, and overall patient satisfaction reached 100%. The education, training, mentoring, and implementation of SiKlik demonstrated positive outcomes in improving staff competency, service efficiency, and patient satisfaction. The implementation of a Clinic Management Information System can support the transition from manual to electronic medical records and contribute to improving the quality of services at the Independent Midwifery Practice (PMB), Department of Midwifery, Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Cadres play an important role in delivering health education to prevent stunting. The use of digital educational media is expected to improve access to accurate information and support cadres in carrying out health promotion activities. This study aimed to determine cadres' satisfaction with the use of the SI CETING application as an information and education media for stunting prevention. This study employed a descriptive quantitative design. The research was conducted among cadres in a rural area. A total of 31 respondents were selected using total sampling. Data were collected using a user satisfaction questionnaire after participants had used the SI CETING application. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and presented as frequencies and percentages. All respondents reported positive satisfaction with the application. Eighteen respondents (58.1%) were categorized as satisfied, while thirteen respondents (41.9%) were categorized as very satisfied. No respondents reported dissatisfaction. These findings indicate that the application was well accepted and perceived as a useful digital medium for delivering health information and education related to stunting prevention. The SI CETING application demonstrated a high level of user satisfaction among cadres, indicating its potential as a digital educational tool to strengthen community-based health promotion and support stunting prevention programs.

Abstract

Sago processing waste, particularly sago pulp, often poses environmental problems due to inadequate disposal management, despite its significant economic potential within a circular economy framework. The main obstacles to its utilization are the availability of decentralized production data and limited market access for local food businesses. This research aims to design and build a web-based system to manage and market sago waste, facilitating transactions between waste producers and industrial users. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design using UML, coding in PHP and MySQL, and testing. The results show that this information system successfully integrates real-time waste data collection and provides a transparent marketplace feature. Black Box testing confirmed that all system functions operate according to user requirements. The implementation of this platform can support a circular economy by converting waste into an economically valuable resource while reducing negative environmental impacts on the local food ecosystem.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to identify deviations between actual food cost and standard food cost within the integration of cost accounting and financial accounting, as well as to evaluate their implications for financial reporting quality. Method: This study employed a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory design. Quantitative descriptive analysis was conducted using revenue reports and records of food and packaging material usage over a 30-month period through cost variance analysis. Qualitative data were collected through interviews with internal company personnel regarding raw material control practices. Findings: The results indicate that actual food costs consistently exceeded standard costs, reflecting inefficiencies in raw material management. Cost variances contributed to higher cost of goods sold and lower earnings information quality. Qualitative findings reveal that the main causes of variance include suboptimal supplier selection, fluctuations in raw material quality, inappropriate storage methods, and weak inventory control. Conclusion: The study confirms that effective raw material control is essential for improving operational efficiency and the reliability of financial information. Novelty/Originality: This study highlights that cost variance functions not only as a cost control instrument in cost accounting but also as a determinant of information quality in financial accounting.
