Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based employee performance monitoring information system at UPT PEPENDA Medan Selatan to address data management issues that are still carried out manually, such as processing delays and low data accuracy. The method used in this study is Prototype, which allows system development through the creation of an initial model that can be evaluated gradually by users. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and supported by a MySQL database. The results of the study show that the system is able to automate the employee performance monitoring process, accelerate data processing, and produce structured and real-time reports. Thus, the system built can improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in managing employee performance monitoring.

Abstract

The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry operates in a highly dynamic environment characterized by rapid production cycles, fluctuating customer demand, limited processing time, and perishable raw materials. These conditions require companies not only to maintain efficient production activities but also to ensure accurate inventory management in order to minimize waste and operational disruptions. In many cases, delays in information flow and inaccurate stock records can negatively affect production continuity and overall business performance. Therefore, an integrated information system is essential to support effective coordination between operational divisions. This study aims to develop an integrated information system that connects production activities with inventory management processes. The system functions not only as a data recording platform but also as an operational integration tool that enables continuous and real-time information exchange across departments. By implementing a structured material requirement mechanism, the system is able to calculate raw material needs efficiently and automatically update inventory data whenever production activities occur. This integration ensures that information is distributed consistently throughout the operational process. The system was developed using an object-oriented approach to provide flexibility, scalability, and ease of future development. The implementation results indicate significant improvements in inventory data accuracy, reduced recording errors, and faster operational response times. Overall, the integrated information system contributes to enhancing production efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting operational stability within the F&B industry.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of e-commerce, digital payments, and Accounting Information Systems (AIS) on the performance of micro-enterprises in the culinary sector in Bandar Lampung City. This study employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to micro-business owners. A total of 429 valid responses were obtained from 562 distributed questionnaires using an accidental sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that e-commerce, digital payments, and AIS have a positive and significant effect on micro-business performance, both partially and simultaneously. Among the examined variables, e-commerce demonstrated the strongest influence, followed by digital payments and AIS. These findings indicate that digital technology adoption supports market expansion, transaction efficiency, and more effective financial management. The utilization of digital technologies plays an important role in improving micro-business performance by enhancing operational effectiveness and competitiveness. Limitations: This study is limited to culinary micro-enterprises in Bandar Lampung City, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings to other sectors and regions. This study contributes empirical evidence regarding the role of digital technology adoption in improving micro-business performance and provides practical insights for entrepreneurs and policymakers in developing digital transformation strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Village Service Information System on community satisfaction in Gidosebua Village, Gunungsitoli Idanoi District, Gunungsitoli City. The development of information technology encourages village governments to improve the quality of administrative services through the implementation of information systems that are more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to residents who had received administrative services at the Gidosebua Village Office. The independent variable in this study was the Village Service Information System, while the dependent variable was community satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests, correlation coefficient analysis, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of the influence of information system implementation on improving the quality of public services and serve as an evaluation reference for the village government in enhancing technology-based administrative services.

Abstract

This study aims to determinate the effect of public information disclosure on transparency and public trust in the Batu City Government. This was done as an effort by the Government to improve transparent and informative governance and to carry out its mandate in accordance with Public Information Disclosure Law Number 14 of 2008, which enables the public to experience a more open system of government. The research method used an explanatory quantitative approach through field research on public information disclosure. The result of the study show that the higher the level of public information disclosure, the higher the level of transparency and public trust in the government, especially in the Batu City Government. The Challenge as a city that was once categorized as an uninformative city in 2023 can be addressed so that in 2024 and 2025, Batu City can receive an award as an informative city that is open to public information needs. Therefore, public information disclosure is a government strategy to realized a transparent government that can be trusted by the public, especially the people of Batu City, whose public information needs can be met by the Batu City Government, which is serious in implementing the mandate of Public Information Disclosure Law Number 14 of 2008.

Abstract

The increasing integration of digital services in higher education institutions requires a secure and scalable authentication mechanism to ensure consistent access across multiple systems. However, fragmented authentication approaches often result in repeated login processes, inconsistent security policies, and inefficient identity management. This study proposes a modular Single Sign-On (SSO) architecture based on Keycloak, integrated with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT), to support unified authentication in institutional information systems. A quantitative experimental approach is employed to evaluate system performance in a real academic environment involving 100 user accounts. The evaluation focuses on authentication efficiency, scalability, reliability, and user productivity. The results show a 62% reduction in average login time, an 85% increase in authentication throughput, and a 100% authentication success rate. Scalability testing indicates stable system performance under concurrent workloads, while token validation overhead remains minimal, ensuring that security enhancements do not degrade system responsiveness. In addition, task completion time decreases by 51%, accompanied by a significant improvement in user productivity. These findings demonstrate that the proposed Keycloak-based SSO architecture provides measurable improvements in performance, scalability, security governance, and usability. The study contributes to software systems engineering by presenting a validated architectural model and a comprehensive quantitative evaluation framework for identity management in higher education environments.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of management information systems for employees, so data is needed related to strategies for improving the quality of management information systems and the work environment on employee performance. This type of research uses field research, with a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that in the management information system and work environment the key to employee performance is good communication. Where this communication can obtain clear and accurate information, if in a company there is no good communication then the information system will be in disarray without direction. The essence of the strategy to improve the quality of information systems and the work environment on employee performance is communication and cohesion between teams to become one goal.
