Abstract

This study examines how publicly available commodity and macroeconomic information can be integrated into standard cost review during supply disruptions in rubber expansion joint manufacturing. Using an exploratory case study and conceptual design approach, the paper maps external market signals to key cost drivers to support earlier managerial responses under volatile input conditions. The study identifies natural rubber, synthetic rubber derivatives, imported additives, freight, and exchange rates as critical exposure points. It proposes a three-layer mechanism consisting of signal detection, managerial interpretation, and decision response to trigger partial or full standard cost review before internal variance reports become available. The findings indicate that external indicators, including commodity prices, JISDOR exchange rates, and producer price indices, can function as a supplementary control interface for management accountants. The study concludes that external information improves the timeliness of pricing and cost-review decisions during market instability, although it should complement rather than replace internal cost data. The proposed framework contributes to strategic management accounting by strengthening cost control responsiveness during disruptions.

Abstract

This study examines a public administration issue concerning the effectiveness of the e-catalog system, tender information, and price determination in improving construction procurement services in Tangerang. The research aims to analyze the influence of e-catalog effectiveness, tender information, and price determination on construction procurement services. A quantitative approach was employed involving construction service providers in Tangerang using a saturated sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings reveal that e-catalog effectiveness does not have a significant effect on construction procurement services, whereas tender information and price determination demonstrate significant positive effects. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence construction procurement services. However, effective implementation depends not only on statistical significance but also on technical readiness, adaptive regulatory support, and adequate dissemination among construction service providers.

Abstract

Digital information governance has become a strategic tool for achieving transparent, accountable, and responsive village governance. However, most research on village information systems still focuses narrowly on the development of technical platforms, while the dimensions of organizational capacity and human resources—which determine the sustainability of implementation, particularly at the level of village officials—have not been extensively studied. This study addresses this gap by analyzing how capacity building shapes information system governance in Ngaban Village, Tanggulangin Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency, using Grindle’s (1997) framework, which encompasses human resource development, organizational strengthening, and institutional reform. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, involving three key informants selected through purposive sampling (the Village Secretary, the Head of Government Affairs, and the Head of Planning) due to their direct knowledge of village information management. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from October to December 2025. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that although village officials possess adequate human resources and a well-defined organizational structure, capacity-building efforts remain focused on general administrative training; no personnel have been specifically assigned to manage the digital information system; and the village website remains underutilized as a public information channel. These findings expand Grindle’s framework by demonstrating that structural readiness alone does not automatically result in functional digital governance without the assignment of specific roles. This study offers practical implications for village governments in strengthening digital information governance and suggests that future policies prioritize role-specific digital training and the placement of dedicated information management personnel at the village level

Abstract

The development of digitalization encourages companies to adopt Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) as a strategic tool in managing human resources. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) on employee performance with job involvement as a mediating variable. Research was conducted on employees of PT UTS Kaltim using a quantitative approach. Primary data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of the SmartPLS application. The research results show that HRIS has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job involvement. Apart from that, job involvement has also been proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job involvement is able to positively and significantly mediate the influence of HRIS on employee performance. These findings indicate that effective HRIS implementation not only improves performance directly, but also through increasing employee work engagement. It is hoped that this research can provide a theoretical contribution in the development of HRIS and job involvement studies, as well as become practical consideration for companies in optimizing digital transformation in the field of human resources.

Abstract

Large-scale public infrastructure development frequently triggers social conflicts due to delayed identification of community concerns. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of a Big Data-based risk management information system in mitigating social conflicts in public infrastructure projects. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and system log document analysis. The findings indicate that digital data processing integrating natural language processing and social media sentiment analysis provides accurate early warnings regarding conflict-prone zones. The rapid field intervention driven by precise data predictions successfully reduced project disruption incidents and enhanced public trust. This study concludes that the effectiveness of social risk management is fundamentally determined by the synergy between smart data analytics, inter-agency coordination, and humanistic communication actions.

Abstract

Project progress monitoring at PT Bestindo Putra Mandiri previously relied on Microsoft Excel, photographic documentation, and report submission through communication media, resulting in fragmented data management, delayed information retrieval, and inefficient progress recapitulation. This study aimed to develop a web-based information system for monitoring the progress of clean water pipeline installation projects using a dashboard and the Prototype Model at PT Bestindo Putra Mandiri. The study employed an empirical system-development design involving direct user interaction and functional evaluation of the developed application. System requirements were identified through observation and user interaction, followed by iterative development consisting of requirement identification, prototype design, prototype development, user evaluation, refinement, and implementation of the finalized system. The developed system integrates project data, work progress, project locations, field documentation, verification status, targets, realization, and reporting into a centralized web-based environment. The dashboard presents project completion percentages, progress status, target and realization information, and graphical representations to support monitoring by SPV Trunk Main/SPV Infill, Construction Manager, and Project Manager. Functional evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing by examining authentication, project management, progress recording, documentation, verification, dashboard visualization, status information, and reporting functions. The testing results showed that the tested functions generated outputs consistent with their expected behavior. The system provides an integrated monitoring environment that improves information accessibility and supports structured project progress monitoring and managerial evaluation.

Abstract

Campus facility complaint management requires a structured mechanism for recording, monitoring, and tracing reported problems to support transparent service processes. This study developed a web-based Campus Facility Complaint Information System (SIPFAS) prototype using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The development process comprised requirement planning, user design, construction, and cutover and verification stages, with the prototype designed to support service information access, authentication, complaint submission, status monitoring, and complaint-detail retrieval. Evaluation focused on the public page, login interface, user dashboard, and complaint-detail page containing the status history of complaint PGD-002. Interface consistency verification showed that the dashboard summary was arithmetically consistent, with 3 complaints in Waiting status, 4 in In Process status, and 5 in Completed status, resulting in a total of 12 complaints. The PGD-002 identity was also traceable across the dashboard and complaint-detail interfaces. However, two inconsistencies were identified, namely a discrepancy between the complaint date of 19 August 2026 and the timeline submission timestamp of 20 August 2026 at 09:14, and a mismatch between the administrator-verification timestamp and its visual state. The prototype establishes a structured complaint-monitoring workflow, although data consistency, functional testing, authorization, backend persistence, and usability evaluation require further verification before full implementation.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology has become an urgent necessity across various aspects of public service, including the health sector. One application of this technology is the "Pandurejo Application," a digital recording system designed to enhance Integrated Health Services Post and improve the data management capabilities of health cadres. Integrated Health Services Post programs play a vital role, enabling the community to access information regarding maternal and child health. As the frontline of community health services, Integrated Health Services Post cadres are crucial to the processes of collecting, recording, managing, and reporting health data. However, some volunteers still face limitations regarding the use of digital applications, electronic data management, and the utilization of health information to Integrated Health Services Post. Optimizing the use of the application required capacity-building support for the cadres, which was provided through a community service activity held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Demangrejo Village, Kulon Progo Regency. The implementation method comprised several stages: preparation, education on the Pandurejo application, a usage demonstration, hands-on practice with mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. Overall, this community service activity successfully strengthened the capacity of Integrated Health Services Post cadres to utilize the Pandurejo Application for digital-based health data and information management.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has driven transformation in various areas of life, including education. One continuously evolving innovation is the use of mobile devices as learning media that are flexible, interactive, and easy for users to access anytime and anywhere. This research aims to design and implement a mobile-based language learning information system that can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the users’ learning process. The research method used includes stages of analyzing user needs, system design, application implementation, and system testing to ensure the application can operate according to the expected objectives. The developed system is equipped with various key features, such as learning materials for reading, writing, speaking, and listening, interactive exercises, learning evaluation, as well as discussion and user feedback features to enhance interaction between users and the learning system. In addition, the application is designed with a simple and user-friendly interface so it can help users understand the material in a more structured and engaging way. The research results show that the system built is able to provide easy access to learning, increase user engagement in the learning process, and help improve understanding of language learning materials more effectively. System testing also shows that the application can run well on various mobile devices and provides a more efficient learning experience. Thus, this mobile-based language learning information system is expected to be an alternative solution to support modern learning processes and improve the quality of language learning in the digital era.

Abstract

The Batang Merao River is one of the main water resources utilized by the people of Kerinci Regency to meet various needs, such as bathing, washing, irrigation, and other household activities. The increasing community activities along the riverbanks have the potential to cause a decline in water quality due to the entry of domestic waste into the river body. This study aims to map the water quality of the Batang Merao River using a Geographic Information System (GIS) so that the spatial distribution pattern of water quality conditions can be identified. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with sampling in the upstream and downstream parts of the Batang Merao River. Water quality data were obtained through laboratory testing of water quality parameters, then processed using a Geographic Information System through the process of inputting coordinates, spatial interpolation, and preparing thematic water quality maps. The mapping results show that water quality conditions have changed from upstream to downstream. The upstream area still shows relatively better water quality compared to the downstream area which is influenced by the increasing household activities along the riverbanks. Mapping using GIS is able to describe the spatial distribution of water quality more clearly so that it can be used as a basis for decision making for the management and control of pollution in the Batang Merao River
