Abstract

This paper aims to examine a relationship between the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and local poverty in Indonesia. Previous literature has shown that the adoption of ICTs is a significant catalyst to increasing a nation’s productivity from a macroeconomic perspective. This has imposed a new debate among researchers whether the adoption of ICTs can contribute to a more specific economic development goal: reducing poverty. Some researchers argue that the means of a broader economic development can be obtained through the informal sectors, MSMEs. Therefore, this paper argues that in order to find a more satisfactory result, the role of ICTs adoption in reducing poverty needs to be examined from within a more specific economic agent—the MSMEs. To test the hypothesis, we run OLS regression models with province and year fixed effects on our MSMEs survey data and local poverty measures. The results show a robust, negative relationship between the adoption of ICTs by MSMEs and the number of poor populations in the corresponding region, controlling other factors. DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jkdp.v25i2.5343

Abstract

Kata kunci: IT governance, chief information officer (CIO), teknologi informasi (TI), sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi (SITI) ABSTRACT Universities belong to the quasi-commercial industry, in addition to provide educational services to the community, also apply the principles of management of commercial industry to raise funds to support the survival of the university. Characteristics of such universities, making information technology (IT) becomes very important. The failure have occurred in the implementation of IT within the university would be viewed negatively by many. Therefore, IT governance is now a critical success factor one (CSF) for leaders and college partners to optimize the role of IT in increasing asset effectiveness, achievement of performance, goals, objectives, vision and the vision of the organization. In line with changes in the presence of IT functions from operational to strategic level within an organization, there are also some new managerial known as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The existence of CIO for an organization that is dependent activities of dailybusiness in the information systems and information technology (SITI) is a must.Without the strategic function of the system and information technology, the company concerned will have a very serious problem. Abstract

During study of directly spread spectrum systems, noted that this system uses many types of code to spread data through communication process. There are different types of code sequences available with good correlation properties, they often use pesudo sequence for spreading which is to be less efficient in protecting information from the breaches that attack the communications systems from penetration. In this article gold sequence will use, which is consider better and more complex than the rest of the code sequence (pseudo-noise (PN) sequence, barker code, hadamard code, and others) in terms of the security aspect of the information, thereby it is difficult to detect the information sent in addition to that it is used in code-division multiple access. Design and implement difficult code to protect information in the communication system carried out here by using MATLAB, for sending a binary data and color photo to be sure that this system is working properly with few errors and better information protection than the rest of the other code that is used in direct sequence spread spectrum.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has led to increasingly competitive competition among organizations. The management of the organization is required to build and develop a fast, precise and accurate information system (IS) to assist business activities in achieving organizational goals and providing services to stakeholders, especially in relation to data, information, technology and applications. ORACLE Architecture Development Process (OADP) is a method or frame of reference for building an information architecture oriented to business needs. This consists of the data architecture, applications, technology and implementation plans of the architectures that have been created to support business activities in achieving the organization mission. The OADP describes the data architecture, applications and technology required to support the organization business. Vocational High Schools cannot be separated from the needs of business and information architecture. A lot of information is generated from all processes that occur in the Vocational High School environment every day but the existing data management is not efficient because it has not been thoroughly connected. This may take a long time to process past data or calculate future needs because the data management process is still running separately. Because of these cases, the modeling information architecture in an organizational environment is required as a stage in supporting the running of business processes in the organization.
