Abstract

21st-century skills are essential for teachers in integrating rapidly advancing technology into the teaching and learning process. Teachers are required to utilize media, especially digital media, in classroom activities. This study aims to develop a teaching module using digital media for plane figures material based on the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model for Grade II elementary school and to evaluate the quality of the developed module. The research employed the R&D (Research and Development) model with the ADDIE framework. Four validators participated in the study: one lecturer, one Grade II teacher, one language expert, and one ICT expert. Data collection techniques included a needs analysis questionnaire. Data analysis utilized both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The teaching module using digital media for plane figures material was developed through the five stages of ADDIE: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. (2) The validated teaching module achieved a score of 3.75, categorized as "very good," based on several aspects such as cover design, preface, table of contents, module content, and language. (3) The benefits of the teaching module for students, as evidenced by the average post-test results from two sessions, showed an improvement from 86% to 92%, with an average increase of 6%. Therefore, the teaching module using digital media for plane figures material with the PBL model effectively aids students in understanding the topic.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the needs in the development of inquiry-based teaching modules to improve English comprehension using the Borg & Gall development research design with the ADDIE model consisting of 5 steps, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Implementation, Design, (3) Product development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The study was conducted on grade XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

Konsep-konsep kimia pada topik ikatan ionik bersifat kontekstual sehingga berpotensi dapat digunakan sebagai sarana penyampai nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Hal ini didasari bahwa sains dan agama adalah dua hal yang saling terkait dan terinterrelasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar pada topik ikatan ionik dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang diikuti proses untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan respon terhadap produk pengembangan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk adalah pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) yang dimodifikasi hanya sampai tahap develop. Modul ajar divalidasi oleh ahli dan diujicobakan terbatas kepada enam belas mahasiswa pendidikan kimia semester lima. Data didapat menggunakan angket validasi dan respon yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Hasil validasi ahli memberikan persentase sebesar 88,5%, sedangkan hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan respon sebesar 83,8% di mana keduanya dikategorikan sangat baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The background of this study is the lack of teaching materials that integrate technology into learning. This study aims to develop and test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of a differentiated Mathematics learning module based on Khan Academy Kids containing TPACK to improve the mathematical reasoning skills of Phase A elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE research model consisting of five stages, namely: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 25 students in grade I of SDN Sampangan 01 Semarang. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires on the practicality of the teaching module, and pretest and posttest mathematical reasoning ability tests to measure effectiveness. The results of the study showed that: (1) The developed teaching module was declared valid based on expert assessments with an average score of 99.3% or in the very valid category. (2) The teaching module is declared practical to use based on the acquisition of a score of 75% or is included in the practical category. (3) The effectiveness of the teaching module through the Paired Sample T-Test shows a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which indicates an increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities before and after the learning process is carried out. The SPSS output data from the summary of descriptive statistics shows that the average pretest score is 10.1600 and the average posttest is 11.7600. The N-Gain value obtained is 0.3725. This shows that the development of a differentiated Mathematics learning module based on Khan Academy Kids containing TPACK is effective in improving the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary school phase A students.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the ability of teachers in developing teaching modules and learning media in teaching and learning activities in class V of SDN 80/I Muara Bulian. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation with the research subjects being the Principal, teachers and students. The data was analyzed using data triangulation by collecting, sorting data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that in the development of teaching modules, SDN 80/I Muara Bulian has used it and adjusted it since 2022. The development of teachers' abilities in compiling teaching modules is carried out by training alternately to all class teachers. Like wise with learning media, teachers have received training in the development of learning media which is expected to be able to sort and use teaching modules and learning media properly and be useful for improving student learning. Some obstacles in this development are 1) teachers do not understand technology, 2) Teachers do not understand the components and structure of teaching modules, , 3) adjustments to the use of the independent curriculum which is quite long and 4) teachers are less competent in the learning process, especially in selecting the right teaching media. The solution to overcome the obstacles is through learning training, providing adequate facilities, especially infrastructure and facilities, and helping each other between teachers in preparing learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of the Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based science learning module in improving students' critical thinking skills on the material "My Dear Earth, My Poor Earth" in grade V of elementary school. The background of the study is the low critical thinking skills of students and the lack of teaching modules that integrate the PBL model. By implementing the PBL approach, it is expected to create an active, collaborative, and student-centered learning atmosphere, as well as encourage student involvement in solving real problems related to everyday life. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, as well as experimental and control designs. The results of the questionnaire showed that the PBL-based science module developed was very feasible to use with a feasibility percentage of 86.95% (material), 88.57% (media), and 85% (module/design). The practicality of the module was also high, with student responses of 86.11% and teacher responses of 87.66%, both of which were included in the very practical category. Thus, this module is declared valid, effective, and practical to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools, particularly in geometry topics, often faces challenges such as conventional, less varied teaching methods, low student discipline, and a lack of discovery-based teaching modules. This study aims to develop a Discovery Learning-based teaching module to enhance the discipline and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the topic of geometry.This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study involved 43 fifth-grade students from the Cipukal Aji Gendowang Cluster, Pemalang Regency. Data were collected through observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews, and were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.The developed teaching module met the validation criteria from content experts (score: 4.2/5) and media experts (score: 4.0/5). A limited trial showed an increase in students' learning outcomes from an average score of 69.06 to 82.15, with 85% of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria. Student discipline also showed significant improvement, as indicated by task completion consistency (87%) and active participation (78%).The Discovery Learning-based module proved effective in enhancing both learning outcomes and student discipline. Its implementation supports the Merdeka Curriculum by emphasizing active and contextual learning.

Abstract

Bahan ajar memiliki sifat unik dan spesifik. Bersifat unik karena bahan ajar diaplikasikan untuk audiens tertentu dalam proses pembelajaran tertentu. Bersifat spesifik karena digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu dari audiens tertentu pula. Selain itu, tuntutan zaman dan teknologi menuntut para pendidik baik langsung maupun secara tidak langsung untuk kreatif serta berinovasi dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar agar pembelajaran tetap dapat maksimal hasilnya. Dalam hal ini terutama dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi di SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan 1) Menjelaskan skenario pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi yang telah dilaksanakan guru pada kelas SMA, 2) Menjelaskan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, 3) menjelaskan bahan ajar dan LKS yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi, 4) menjelaskan pengembangan bahan ajar teks eksposisi agar pembelajaran menjadi efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahapan pada metode ini, yaitu 1) penyajian data (data display), 2) reduksi data (data reduction), 3) menarik kesimpulan (verification). Pengembangan bahan ajar yang dilakukan memuat tiga tahap, yaitu 1) Analisis kebutuhan modul, 2) tahap desain elektronik modul, 3) tahap validasi dan penyempurnaan modul. Hasil validasi atau penilaian yang diperoleh dalam pengembangan bahan ajar elektronik modul pada pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi pada 87,75 dengan kriteria revisi kecil. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa elektronik modul pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi kelas X SMA dapat digunakan guru dan peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia pendidikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu dalam proses pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa. Proses pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien mempengaruhi kompetensi mahasiswa. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan melalui penggunaan modul ajar. Keberadaan modul ajar perlu adanya kajian pengembangan dengan menyesuaikan perubahan. Peran penting terhadap keberadaan modul ajar perlu adanya kajian sebagai bagian dalam proses perbaikan. Penelitian ini dibatasi terhadap pengembangan modul ajar menggambar teknik pada lingkup Fakultas Teknik, Universitas XYZ Madiun. Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian menggunakan pengembangan Model 4-D. Hasil pengembangan modul ajar menggambar teknik menunjukkan terjadi perubahan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan perolehan ketuntasan mencapai 81,25 %. Nilai effect size dari penggunaan modul ajar diperoleh 1,89 masuk kategori tinggi sehingga berdampak signifikan terhadap capaian nilai yang diperoleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research is R&D (Research and Development) that aims to 1) determine the characteristics of ethnomathematics-based modules on the Pythagorean Theorem sub-material for class VIII of SMP Negeri 06 Tabulahan. 2) To determine the feasibility of ethnomathematics-based module teaching materials on the Pythagorean Theorem material as a learning resource for class VIII of SMP Negeri 06 Tabulahan. The data collection technique used in this study was a non-test technique, namely questionnaires and documentation. The aspects of feasibility include aspects of content feasibility components, aspects of language components, aspects of presentation components, and aspects of graphic components. The data analysis technique used is the Likert Scale. The results of the study show that 1) The Pythagorean Theorem Module based on Ethnomathematics that was developed has the characteristics of Ethnomathematics. 2) The Ethnomathematics-based module on the Pythagorean Theorem material is Feasible for use as a learning resource for class VIII of SMP Negeri 06 Tabulahan.
