Abstract

The decline in internalization of religious values among students as a result of digital culture. Madrasahs require strong leadership strategies to overcome the impact of digital culture, especially to foster a strong religious environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership strategies of madrasah principals in developing a religious culture and the inhibiting and supporting factors at MTs Negeri 1 Purworejo. This study used a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects included madrasah principals, religious teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the madrasah principal's strategy plays a role as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator in building a religious culture in madrasahs. The strategies implemented include organizing religious activities, continuous supervision and monitoring, appreciation for teachers and students, and coaching for students. Supporting factors for the success of religious culture include support from all madrasah members and adequate worship facilities, while inhibiting factors are the influence of digital culture and limited time for religious activities.

Abstract

Student dropout remains a persistent challenge in higher education, yet its underlying causes are often oversimplified as isolated academic or economic issues. This study examines student dropout potential using a multivariate perspective integrating academic, economic, social, and psychological factors, aiming to provide a contextual understanding of dropout behavior beyond single-factor explanations.A quantitative explanatory design was applied through a survey of active undergraduate students. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measuring academic conditions, economic background, social environment, psychological factors, and dropout status. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to test direct and indirect relationships among variables, with measurement and structural models evaluated for validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing.The findings show that academic, economic, social, and psychological factors do not have statistically significant direct effects on student dropout status. Psychological factors also do not mediate the effects of external conditions on dropout decisions. These results indicate that dropout is shaped by complex and context-dependent dynamics rather than by single dominant variables within the studied context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi manajemen lembaga pendidikan dalam menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan siswa di TK Sari Budi Demak, serta mengkaji peran kepala sekolah dan guru dalam implementasinya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui fungsi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan, di mana nilai kedisiplinan diintegrasikan dalam kebijakan sekolah, pembelajaran, dan pembiasaan rutin sesuai karakteristik anak usia dini. Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai perumus kebijakan dan supervisor, sementara guru menjadi pelaksana melalui keteladanan harian, di mana sinergi keduanya menciptakan lingkungan kondusif bagi pembentukan perilaku disiplin. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada model sinkronisasi manajemen formal dengan pendekatan keteladanan figuratif yang disesuaikan dengan psikologi perkembangan anak di tingkat lokal, menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan bukan sekadar penegakan aturan melainkan hasil kolaborasi peran manajerial dan edukatif yang berkelanjutan. Abstract

This research seeks to understand how different family factors, such as the way parents raise their children, the family's economic situation, and how much attention parents give, affect children's motivation to learn, both from within and outside themselves. The study is based on the idea that learning motivation is shaped by multiple elements interacting in the family setting. The research used a quantitative method with a survey design. Information was gathered from students ranging from elementary to high school who live with their parents. The tool for research consisted of a detailed questionnaire measured through a five-point Likert scale. The data analysis involved multivariate regression to explore the effects of parenting style, family economic status, and parental attention on both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations for learning. The results show that parenting style, family economic status, and parental attention positively and significantly impact children's intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to learn. Of the three factors studied, parental attention has the greatest effect on both types of learning motivation. This indicates that being actively involved as a parent is essential for boosting children's desire to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Ummul Qura, Tangerang Selatan, dengan fokus pada perencanaan, pengadaan, inventarisasi, pemeliharaan, dan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah. Sarana dan prasarana merupakan komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional yang secara langsung maupun tidak langsung menunjang proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien. Sekolah berbasis pondok pesantren memiliki karakteristik khusus karena menggabungkan sistem pendidikan formal dengan sistem pendidikan pesantren, sehingga memerlukan pengelolaan sarana prasarana yang lebih komprehensif dan terintegrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi sarana dan prasarana di Pondok Pesantren Ummul Qura belum optimal, dengan banyak fasilitas dalam kondisi rusak, bahkan sebagian ruang kelas tidak memiliki meja dan kursi yang layak. Sekolah juga belum memiliki perpustakaan dan laboratorium IPA, hanya tersedia laboratorium komputer dengan keterbatasan jumlah dan kondisi perangkat. Perencanaan dan pengadaan sarana prasarana telah dilakukan melalui koordinasi antara sekolah dan yayasan, namun masih menghadapi kendala keterlambatan dana dan perbedaan kebijakan. Sistem inventarisasi yang masih manual, keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya tenaga teknis, serta lemahnya koordinasi antara sekolah dan yayasan menyebabkan pengelolaan sarana prasarana belum berjalan secara optimal. Pemeliharaan hanya dilakukan secara insidental tanpa program terencana, sementara pengawasan dan evaluasi belum dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan terdokumentasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas manajemen sarana prasarana sangat dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, sistem inventarisasi yang baik, koordinasi antarunit, dan dukungan anggaran yang memadai untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah berbasis pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital technology use on Social Interaction Behavior and the Quality of Social Relationships in the digital era. The research employs a quantitative research design using a survey method. Data were collected from 76 respondents who are active users of smartphones and social media through an online questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software to examine the relationships among variables. The independent variables in this study are Self-Control, Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), and Smartphone Addiction, while the dependent variables consist of Social Interaction Behavior and Quality of Social Relationships. The results indicate that Self-Control has a significant positive influence on Social Interaction Behavior and the Quality of Social Relationships. Conversely, FoMO and Smartphone Addiction do not show significant effects on Social Interaction Behavior or relationship quality. Furthermore, Social Interaction Behavior is found to hAVE a significant effect on the Quality of Social Relationships. These findings suggest that individual psychological factors, particularly Self-Control, play a more important role than technological dependence in shaping healthy social interactions. This study concludes that strengthening Self-Control in technology usage is essential to maintaining effective social interactions and improving the Quality of Social Relationships in the digital era.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with the aim of understanding the phenomenon of Gender Leadership and the Dynamics of Women's Leadership in Islamic Educational Institutions in depth through the perspectives of the participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), and documentation, involving the principal, teachers, and parents as the primary sources of information. Data analysis was conducted thematically by following the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate several important aspects, namely Gender Leadership in the Perspective of Islamic Education which emphasizes the compatibility of Islamic values with the practice of women's leadership; Challenges of Women's Leadership in a Gender Context which reflect cultural barriers and social stereotypes; and Support and Legitimacy of Ibu Nurul's Leadership which grows through concrete performance, collective participation, and effective communication with various elements of the madrasah. This study contributes to theoretical, practical, and policy implications. Theoretically, this study enriches the study of gender and leadership in Islamic education, especially in the context of elementary madrasahs. Practically, the research findings can serve as a reference for other madrasah principals in developing leadership patterns that are inclusive, participatory, and responsive to the needs of the school community. Meanwhile, from a policy perspective, this research provides input for policymakers to further open up leadership opportunities for women in Islamic educational institutions, while simultaneously reducing existing structural and cultural barriers. Thus, this research not only describes a phenomenon but also provides new insights into the issue of gender equality in Islamic educational leadership at MI Mirqotul Ulum, relevant for development in broader research settings.

Abstract

One of the components that plays an important role in achieving learning objectives is its contribution to the quality of learning. Where the contribution of strategic management implementation is a process that includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of policies to achieve organizational goals effectively. However, in its implementation there are still obstacles such as teachers who still find it difficult to adapt to curriculum changes and the lack of facilities and infrastructure that support learning. This study aims to describe the contribution of strategic management implementation in curriculum development to the quality of learning at MTs Negeri Gowa. This study uses qualitative techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of strategic management in curriculum development to improve the quality of learning can be monitored by improving student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri Gowa. Improving the quality of learning is carried out by implementing strategic management consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation in developing the curriculum systematically. This strategy can be realized through the application of the Curriculum and continuous academic monitoring and supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze adaptive leadership strategies in developing an inclusive, technology-based learning environment. The method employed is a literature review (library research) by examining relevant and up-to-date journal articles, academic books, conference proceedings, and policy reports on adaptive leadership, inclusive education, and the integration of learning technologies. The data were analyzed using content analysis/thematic analysis through the stages of source selection, key information extraction, grouping of findings, and thematic synthesis. The review identifies six main themes: (1) mapping technical and adaptive challenges as a basis for intervention, (2) strengthening a collaborative culture across roles, (3) continuous professional development for meaningful technology integration, (4) establishing accessibility standards and implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), (5) leveraging learning data for equitable interventions, and (6) strengthening leaders’ digital literacy and change governance. The findings emphasize that adaptive leadership functions as an integrative mechanism between the agendas of digitalization and inclusion, ensuring that technology serves to enhance access, participation, and the quality of learning. This study recommends establishing “inclusive digital” collaboration structures, standardizing minimum accessibility requirements based on UDL, and implementing data-driven evaluation to support equitable learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to explore pesantren branding management through the QITAM Program as a strategy for institutional identity formation at Al-Anshor Islamic Boarding School since its early stages of development. The focus of the study is on how this flagship program was designed, positioned, and integrated in an effort to build the image of the pesantren in the community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, where the descriptive approach is used to describe and explain the phenomenon of branding management systematically based on interview data, documents, and relevant scientific sources. The results show that Islamic boarding school branding management through the QITAM Program is a well-planned, relevant, and effective strategy in building the identity of Islamic boarding schools. The QITAM Program is positioned as a leading identity that integrates four strategic dimensions, namely Qur'anic, Scientific, Turats, and Modern, so that it is able to represent the vision, values, and distinctive character of the Al-Anshor Islamic Boarding School consistently and easily recognizable by the public.
