Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam manajemen pendidikan yang berperan dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran melalui pembinaan profesional guru. Namun demikian, pelaksanaannya di sekolah masih sering berfokus pada aspek evaluatif dan administratif, sehingga kurang memberikan ruang bagi guru untuk melakukan refleksi profesional secara mendalam terhadap praktik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi supervisi akademik berbasis refleksi serta memahami bagaimana guru memersepsikan dan memaknai proses supervisi tersebut dalam konteks pengembangan profesional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di SMK Negeri 1 Blado sebagai satuan pendidikan menengah kejuruan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi pembelajaran, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik berbasis refleksi dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, observasi kelas, dialog pascaobservasi, dan tindak lanjut yang menekankan komunikasi profesional serta refleksi bersama antara kepala sekolah dan guru. Guru memersepsikan supervisi akademik sebagai proses pembelajaran profesional yang bersifat dialogis, mendukung kesadaran reflektif, dan membantu mereka memahami praktik pembelajaran secara lebih kritis dan kontekstual. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penegasan supervisi akademik sebagai ruang pembinaan reflektif dalam manajemen pendidikan, yang dimaknai secara positif oleh guru sebagai sarana pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, bukan semata-mata sebagai mekanisme pengendalian mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze professional development strategies for teachers of students with special needs (IBK) in managing exclusive classrooms from an educational management perspective. The background of this study is the increasing demand for professional teachers who are capable of managing exclusive classrooms effectively while responding to the diverse needs of IBK. Many schools still face challenges related to limited teacher competencies, fragmented professional development programs, and the absence of a systematic management framework. This research employed a qualitative case study design conducted at Talenta Center School, Bekasi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving school leaders and IBK teachers. The findings reveal that professional development is effectively implemented through needs-based training, continuous mentoring, collaborative reflection, and experiential learning supported by school management. These strategies contribute to improvements in pedagogical competence, classroom management skills, and professional attitudes of IBK teachers. This study highlights the importance of structured and sustainable professional development programs integrated into school management systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of public relations (PR) programs in increasing school attractiveness and achieving New Student Admission (PPDB) targets at MTs Islamiyah Kedaung through communication strategies, collaboration, and the use of social media. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with field research methods. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, school committees, and the community as key informants. The findings indicated that the school’s PR implemented integrated strategies through socio-cultural-based promotion involving community leaders, consistent publication of school activities, and optimizing social media for branding. Additionally, internal-external collaboration, scholarship programs, extracurricular activities, and a reputable service quality were key factors in strengthening community interest. Challenges such as resource constraints and inter-institutional competition were addressed through collective coordination and continuous evaluation. This research provides an integration model between traditional socio-cultural promotion strategies and media digitalization as an effective solution for private schools in facing competitive admission processes. The contribution of public relations proved to be collectively significant in enhancing the institutional image and maintaining the stability of new student enrollment.

Abstract

Pesantren have received state recognition, institutional strengthening, and equal rights in the implementation of educational activities through Law No. 18 of 2019 on Pesantren. Among the forms of pesantren officially recognized are pesantren muadalah operating under the salafiyah and muallimin systems; however, empirical evaluation studies on the implementation of the muadalah muallimin pesantren program remain limited. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of program implementation and to examine the application of an evaluation model in order to develop a systematic, contextual, and applicable evaluation framework that may serve as a reference for muadalah muallimin pesantren in Indonesia. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method and the Stake’s Countenance Evaluation Model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The evaluation criteria were based on government regulations concerning quality standards for pesantren education within muadalah muallimin educational units. The findings indicate that the implementation of the muadalah program achieved an excellent classification, attaining an A grade with a final score of 91. The component scores were as follows: curriculum 97.27, students 97.36, educators and educational staff 94.08, facilities and infrastructure 90.67, financing 100, institutional management 93.08, teaching and learning processes 91.27, and learning outcomes and graduates 61.75. This study contributes novel insights to the body of knowledge on program evaluation of muadalah muallimin pesantren.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of organizational learning design on teacher performance and job satisfaction in secondary schools, focusing on well-being, innovation, and commitment as mediating factors. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 367 S1-certified teachers in Jambi City, Indonesia. The survey included 54 items adapted from established scales related to organizational learning, teacher satisfaction, commitment, innovation, performance, and well-being. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that organizational learning design significantly influences teacher commitment and well-being, both of which positively affect job satisfaction and performance. However, the effect of innovation on performance was non-significant, suggesting a need for more targeted strategies to integrate innovation into teaching practices. These results emphasize the importance of a supportive organizational learning environment to enhance teacher engagement and effectiveness. Recommendations are offered for educational policymakers to bolster teacher well-being and commitment through organizational learning initiatives.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine (1) the level of student discipline at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo, (2) the relationship between character education and student discipline, and (3) the quality of character education implemented at the pesantren. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The subjects consisted of 20 tenth-grade students in the 2024–2025 academic year. Methods: ]Data were collected through character education and discipline questionnaires and were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, and Spearman’s rho correlation test due to the non-normal data distribution. Results: The results show that character education is categorized as high (85%), while student discipline is also categorized as high (75%). The Spearman correlation test produced a value of ρ = 0.673 with sig. 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a strong and significant relationship between character education and student discipline. The coefficient of determination of 45.3% indicates that character education contributes 45.3% to student discipline, while the remaining 54.7% is influenced by other factors. Novelty: Thus, the better the character education implemented, the higher the level of student discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan manajemen sarana dan prasarana dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di SMK Mandiri 01 Panongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang sarana dan prasarana, guru, serta peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sarana dan prasarana di SMK Mandiri 01 Panongan telah dikelola secara sistematis melalui perencanaan yang matang, pengadaan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran, pemanfaatan yang optimal, serta pemeliharaan dan pengawasan yang berkelanjutan. Pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang baik tersebut berperan penting dalam mendukung kelancaran proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a critical factor in determining the quality of education at the senior high school level. Enhancing teacher performance requires effective leadership practices, a strong organizational culture, and high levels of work motivation. This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and work motivation on teacher performance in senior high schools located in Tangerang Regency. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. The population of the study consisted of teachers from public and private senior high schools in the region, and a total of 119 teachers were selected as respondents through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires that were tested for validity and reliability to ensure measurement accuracy. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistical techniques, including classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial significance tests (t-tests), simultaneous significance tests (F-tests), and coefficient of determination analysis (R²), with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study demonstrate that transformational leadership style has a positive and statistically significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has required educational institutions to adopt adaptive management of facilities and infrastructure to enhance learning quality. This study aims to examine the management of digital-based educational facilities and infrastructure and its impact on the learning process at MTs Negeri 2 Pesawaran. A descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design was employed. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for facilities and infrastructure, teachers, educational staff, and students, as well as documentation analysis related to facility management. The scope of the study includes planning, procurement, distribution, inventory, maintenance, and disposal of digital facilities and infrastructure. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 2 Pesawaran has shown significant improvement through the utilization of digital resources such as projectors, computers, laptops, internet networks, and digital administrative systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership, organizational culture, and work motivation on teacher performance at public elementary schools in Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of all public elementary school teachers in Dramaga District, with a total sample of 180 teachers selected through proportional sampling techniques. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and subsequently analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 23. The results indicate that principal leadership, organizational culture, and work motivation each have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. Organizational culture was identified as the most dominant variable influencing teacher performance. These findings suggest that teacher performance is not determined by a single factor, but rather by the synergy of effective school leadership, a supportive organizational culture, and high levels of work motivation. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening principal leadership practices, fostering a conducive school culture, and enhancing teacher motivation in order to improve teacher performance sustainably.
